  1. Lmao! That's pretty cool coincidence. I've seen one person who had almost exactly same stats as I. But nearly the same name, too...? I'm not that lucky.
  2. Denying to accept something that is a fact does not make it untrue. Duke, I used to have respect for you earlier. You made always the most well-thought comments in these topics, but you're really losing it. And people saying that paulhartman got owned by Duke? OMG? "Duke is...I mean, WAS so famous and rich. He has to be correct in everything he says" You're calling this a fact? That's the most ridiculous argument I've heard about this. You're not making the economy any better by removing one of the most interesting items in RuneScape. You're calling paper hats interesting? What about the other lesser rares? What's so interesting about a Disc? A dragon dagger is much more interesting than a rare with no use. You can equip it, poison it, use specials with it, fight with it. I don't see why you would claim otherwise. You can even merchant with them, if that was your point... (Though it's much less unbalanced) I'm so glad that people who have no clue what they are talking about always say that others don't know what they are saying. This is where I can agree with you. The rare market has a meaning. However, it doesn't affect the amount of GP in the economy. Without rares, there would be just as much. It would be just distributed much more evenly. Now the few people who own some are getting major share of it. Finally, about the whip/phat question, it would be more correct to ask: "Which one would you rather buy if you had the money: A blue partyhat or 80 whips?" The initial question was just like saying, "Do you want 10gp or 1000gp" I'm not saying that rares should be removed. But at least try to find good reasons against it. These points were pointless.
  3. Ok... Sorry about that, should've known. I've been too much around people in the RS community who use "Lol" all the time without meaning anything at all. It's kind of sad.
  4. If you don't have anything better to tell your children than sad tales about Runescape, you're doing something terribly wrong. And no, I don't think that most people would be so stupid to waste their account on some stupid bug. Well, that's another noob out of the game. We won't miss him.
  5. That's one of the good ways to counter that scam. As long as you report them before doing it, so they don't get away with it by logging out.
  6. Wouldn't work. They could still write: "Look, Jagex blocks your pass: *Any censored word*"
  7. In f2p, prayer is THE way to go. At 40 prayer, one single genie is worth 88 regular or 26 big bones. (~9k+ if you buy the bones) And the number keeps increasing as you level up..
  8. 1.)Where it will be located --- Close to Lumbridge. I mean, they put the Guide character next to the castle as well. In some place most new players will notice early. 2.)What the new type of armor will be --- Probably something that doesn't give any stats, but looks cool. 3.)What beasts will be inside the area --- If it's meant for new players, there will be *only* low level monsters. Don't expect a good training area, at least... 4.) How will security fit into this edition --- No idea at all. Combat and security sounds like so weird combination. Maybe monsters that ask you questions, and attack if you answer wrong
  9. Actually, it's somewhat rare to see bronze in f2p as well. I see things like steel and frog masks a lot, but rarely bronze. Maybe it's just the places where I spend time...
  10. Question #1: What is your favorite quest? Shield of Arrav: Definitely the most unique quest in f2p. This is what MMORPGs should be about. Question #2: What do you think is the hardest skill to train? Prayer, because it's the slowest or Runecrafting because it's the most boring one. (Prayer trains itself while doing combat) Question #3: What do you think is the easiest skill to train? Definitely Firemaking if you have the materials. Woodcutting is number two. Question #4: What is your favorite skill? I'll have to say combat. It's the least repetitive thing to do in the entire game. (It's still repetitive, but you get varying drops, can train it just about everywhere, and there are usually more people to talk with than when doing other skills)
  11. 1. What made you remain f2p? - No possible payment methods at the moment, and I don't play enough to make it worth paying for (the cost isn't big, but I usually get bored almost instantly after I log in... But sometimes I get more motivation and return for longer periods) 2. Have you ever wanted to be member? - Yes. 3. Do you plan to be a member in the future? - I've considered it, but if I would get a credit card, I'd most likely start playing something bigger instead.
  12. 1: Sounds reasonable to me. Except that I'm not so sure about the levels. Maybe just a character that has already completed tutorial island could be enough. 2: Also a good idea. All f2p abilities are covered in the current tutorial, so why not have a similar thing for member skills and other things that can be done in p2p. 3: We definitely don't want an axe that is more effective than rune or dragon and is given for free. And definitely not a f2p one. 4: No. Runescape isn't purely a combat-based game. This would give skill pures a ridiculous disadvantage. (There are more legit players than you might think... Think your ideas through before posting)
  13. I didn't bother reading it when I saw that. Did you read the first post at all? It hasn't been like that for a long time  I think it's a bad idea. First of all, you're just trying to get more stuff into f2p. That's why you made those requirements and rewards like that in the first place. 10k in all free skills is stupid. That's 150k total exp and a lot more than any of the hardest member skills. Something like 1k in all skills would be much more appropriate. (It's still a bad idea, though)
  14. Lol, this isn't anything new. You'll always find some noobs shouting something to this effect no matter where you go.
  15. o_O There are 10 items like this on the list with pics of some random items with golden color. Pretty freaky... And then some ridiculous ones
  16. 1: 4,667,434 2: 624,496 3: 0,1337... ~13% (8)) Skill totaler, as could be guessed. I think I'll try to keep this number. That was totally unexpected!
  17. Now that I think of it more, this idea is horrible. If phats will raise to a billion, that will just ruin the game. Sell one and you can buy several skills to 99 with close to no effort (I know, you still have to do the clicking to use the resources, but that's nothing compared to those people who have to earn their money in a fair way.) Be fortunate enough to have a full set or even a few, and you'll have even more insane advantage compared to regular people. I don't have anything against merchanting, but this is getting badly out of control. All this topic shows is that there are not enough good money sinks in the game.
  18. Umm... Buy a few more rares or other items and start collecting more money  That's what I would do, at least. But as I'm too lazy to merchant anything...
  19. Hey, this F2P/P2P 100th quest discussion is just stupid. Of course the 100th quest will be p2p only. What would Jagex be thinking if they released it in f2p. Especially if it's something special like the biggest quest ever. The membership is supposed to have benefits, you know. As for the requirement, I think that it should have a very high quest point requirement too, if it's something special. I mean, aren't legends and heroes quest point requirements jokes already with so many (easy too) quests available?
  20. Yes, but I don't think there was a direct link there in the high scores before. You had to go into your account menu. If I remember wrong, ignore me. I guess it might be possible that I'm just imagining things.
  21. Where?? :? I think that they might drop it soon if they took it off! Maby it will b within the next week!!! if so im going looting on world 9! :D You propably quoted the wrong text. It sounds like you mean the dragon pickaxe. If you for some reason can't see the link to friend high scores, here's a picture of it...
  22. Yay! They added the commas back! It doesn't look that bad to me. The compare function should be a little faster to use too, because it's on the main page and you can choose any two names instead of only being able to compare with the person who's scores you're looking at the moment. There's now also a link to friends high scores on the main scores page.
  23. If there will be a dragon pick, don't you think that Jagex would just make it work like the dragon hatchet... No additional bonus for mining, better fighting against randoms and yet another mark of wealth. I don't see why people are so excited.
  24. See this page: http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=rare_items.htm
  25. I support this idea completely. You've even given some new ideas instead of just the old bank pages thing which has been posted at least a dozen times before.
