  1. Welcome back, old sir. :P *Runs*
  2. Warning: Slight spoiler in the description if you have never read Anne of Windy Poplars! Seeing as it's almost Valentine's Day, I remembered reading a quote from Anne of Windy Poplars by L.M. Montgomery. Anne Shirley and her student Lewis Allen are running an errand at a local's home, carrying with them a picture Lewis had taken of a boy named Theodore "Little Fellow" Armstrong. Previously Anne and Lewis visited Theodore to ask his father, James Armstrong, if he would support the High School Dramatic Club. Mr. Armstrong snubs them and little Theodore comes out with his dog Carlo, offering Anne and Lewis a snack, thinking that they were asking for food. After a nice chat with Teddy, Anne asked if the boy would like to have his picture taken with Carlo to thank him for the snack. Teddy agrees and Lewis takes the image, promising to send the picture over as soon as it was developed. While running the errand later on at the local's, it is to Anne and Lewis' shock to find out that Teddy, died of pneumonia. Mrs. Merrill, the local's brother-in-law's wife, says the following, "I feel sorry for [Mr. Armstrong]. He's well-to-do but I've always felt he looked down on us because we were poor. But we have our boy . . . and it don't never matter how poor you are as long as you've got something to love." The actual quote in the image is from Anne's paraphrasing of Mrs. Merrill's wise words. Happy Valentine's Day. Also posted here: http://www.deviantart.com/view/29007455/
  3. Despite having received news of this yesterday, the thought still leaves me very much at a loss of words. I still recall him very well in the #runescape chat where he did indeed tried to keep the place going with conversations and was always quite friendly towards the users. He was a dedicated person to the community and upheld his work as a TET member and much more. Rest in peace, Shiva. You will be greatly missed by many here.
  4. I am completely stunned. This is something I never expected... RIP, Shiva. You will always be remembered. :(
  5. Wee! It's today!!!!!!!!!!!! :D *Is very excited!*
  6. Zonorhc, I salute you. That article just made my day perfect. It did have some mechanical errors by the way. :P Only teasing, but definately you've hit the point home: everyone, make an effort to type properly and use proper English! No more of that
  7. Come on guys... Try to keep the discussion reasonable eh?
  8. When an event is coming, the team will post a seperate post for it. See those specific posts for the times.
  9. Please do not bump old posts.
  10. This isn't the place to have your avatar rated. Try the Media Discussions board.
  11. *Goes hunting for her proper costume.* :)
  12. Ayreon's Dreamtime from "The Final Experiment" (both the one on the original CD and the Bonus Track). :D *Thanks Necro for recommending her to buy the CD hehe*
  13. The question is: Why? :) I mean okay, we have clothes from random events, some of us collect rares, then there's armour and weapons, but once you know how to organize your banks properly you don't need much space at all. :)
  14. Sorry for bumping... but I guess I need to start writing to show a good example. My excuses go something like 'it will take a long while to write something good' and so on. Looks like I've been 'owned'... as they say. Aww, don't worry, Jak. I haven't written much in a while either. :( Still need to get chapter one going for "Ordinary" soon as I think of a proper outline. >_<
  15. Lmao at Steve. :P Sorry, but Necro and I already made reservations and whatnot. ;) And he's not level 3. And he's not P2P.
  16. Necromagus beat ya to it. ;)Whit woo! Get a freakin' room you two! She's an admin, this whole place is her room :Pmust... not.... analyze... sentence...And again... I burst out laughing. *Jabs Necro for saying such a thing.*
  17. Cut the flame talk. Stick with being polite and being helpful, not being jerks yourselves just because someone disagrees with you.
  18. Necromagus beat ya to it. ;)Whit woo! Get a freakin' room you two!I burst out laughing reading that. Good luck to the singles out there finding their dates. ;)
  19. *pokes magey towards the post again* events on the 11th :D (now it just scares me when you get something wrong magey) I still need a date for the 14th anyway. :P
  20. *Grabs her date for the 14th*
  21. *Drags the stuff like "F2P" and "non-members" and "people who don't pay for the game" out of the discussion.* >_> It isn't the point of the discussion!
  22. 115k+ willows to burn. Saved it for this event...
  23. Like someone said, Jagex can't make everyone happy. However, as someone pointed out, it does appear that they've ignored the majority and went with the middlemen in terms of what people want in terms of updates. The quest might be useful for some in order to break the monotony of raising skills, but at the same time it seems there's more than needed in my eyes. As said before, I have had heard complaints from fellow players that there are simply too many quests or skills and as a result they are unable to explore newer areas of the map, mini-games, barrows, etc. As said, this is not a P2P vs F2P post so please do not turn it into one!!! Not once have I said F2Pers need updates, not once have I said that F2Pers deserve more. >_< So please: don't bring it up, thanks! This is focusing on P2Pers in general in terms of the updates they receive. I know it's very odd that a post like this is coming from someone who has absolutely no experience on P2P, but I am still a witness to it so to speak just like everyone else. This is merely an observation that I believe should be looked at so that players are heard and that we can fully get a grasp of what the situation is and how can it be improved. I hope that this discussion would allow us to think about just what exactly do we want out of the game other than just quests. NOTE!> You all are more than welcome to suggest things that can be added to the Important List or Extra Stuff. Give it some critical thoughts though, not just "we need more weapons/armour." Think about why that stuff is needed before suggesting it. :P Of course, you're also welcome to argue against my post too. :P
  24. Sorry, but in my opinion, we're all "noobs." Not to sound offensive or anything, but the only reason why it's so offensive is because people make it offensive. So let's make it positive eh?
