Well, today I actually went through my day and didn't stress about anything. I've had alot of work to do this week and I had a ton of schoolwork to do today. But, I just reminded myself that I was working on it and it would get done. I've yet to have any stomach pains today as well. :D Slowing down and taking some time to breathe really helped me out. I have a report to read aloud in class Monday. And now that I think about it, it doesn't even bother me. :) I'm still going to go see a doctor about the stomach problems and see what they might have to say about it. It's looking, so far, like I can handle this on my own. Thanks for the help, guys. :D
  2. I really like the mage's staff. Very very nice. ^_^ I can tell you spent alot of time on it. You really need to work on faces though. And she seems a little flat chested. I really like your style. You're very good at drawing clothes, which took me a little while to get down. Keep up the good work.
  3. :D I like the Scottish accent the best.
  4. So you live in Kentucky too? Arkansas. :)
  5. I don't listen to the radio. Nothing here but country. And I'm not talking "Pop" country. I'm talking, barefoot, banjo ridden, incest country.

I've been really bad at handling anxiety all throughout my life. The earliest time I can remember being extremely nervous to the point of having a panic attack was five years old. I don't think it really has anything to do with my being a teenager. But, I spoke with a psychologist about it today. She told me that it sounded like I had an anxiety disorder, but I really seem to have issues with my self esteem (I'm already on medication for depression). She's giving me a month to see if I can't work it out on my own, (develop a better love for myself, and a better view of the world around me) and if I can't, she'll have me consult a pyshciatrist to see if I could use some medication. She wants me to see a doctor about the stomach condition as well, to decide if it's a medical or psychological problem. I plan on seeing one pretty soon. Breathing exercises always tend to work pretty well for me. Sometimes, they just don't work though. Then, I usually try to occupy my mind with something else. Diversions work well. Some of the things others here have suggested, such as relating good past events to future or current events sounds like it will work for me. Although I know that I need to talk about it more to try and sort it out and get to the root of the problem, it's very hard for me. I see it was a weakness of mine, and I worry that whoever I'm talking to will try to find ways to exploit that weakness. I'm not so much scared of what others think about me. I'm scared to let my guard down around others. I do have quite the trust issue, but it is one that I've been working with for a few years now, and I gradually find it easier to trust people. I talked with my parents and some of my friends about it earlier today, and I was very surprised and happy to find that they were willing to support me in any way possible. Perhaps I can work through this without the aid of medication. But, I'm not afraid to turn to it. I just want to know that I've tried everything else first.

I wanted to ask all you people here about something that I'm really trying to improve on. All throughout my life I've never really been good at handling anxiety and nervousness. I tend to dwell on thing that make me nervous and overexaggerate. I think things are worse than they really are. It sometimes gets to the point where I have panic attacks or hyperventalate. And it's usually over really small things like having to read a report out loud in class, or when I know I'm going to be meeting someone (The person can be my boyfriend or a good friend of mine. It's not always someone that I don't know). It's getting to the point where it's not good to my health. I'm having horrible stomach pains as many as four times a day now. All of these stomach pains happen after I feel anxious or nervous. I was just wondering how some of you guys deal with anxiety. What do you do to calm yourself down when you're nervous? How do you keep yourself in a rational state of mind when you're nervous so that you don't overexaggerate? Your help is greatly appreciated.

  11. Yeah. I like the country I live in. I live in the southern part of the US, and I could go for some cooler weather. I'd really like to travel to other countries and other parts of this country to see if there's someplace that I like better.
  12. What are your standards? A SUV sized spider would be big enough? :D SUV sized? You can take care of that one, buddy.
  13. Aaaww... See ya...
  14. Looking very nice! ^_^ I wonder if you drew that from a real live model of a girl about to slap you...

  16. My friend called me and told me that her house had burned down. I almost started to cry... Until she told me that it was a joke.
  17. "Can you believe this [cabbage]?"
  18. I don't much care for wrestling. But, my sister is OBSESSED with it. So, me, my friends, and my brother all mess with her about it. We tell her that we know Batista. Every single friend that comes over, she will ask, "Do you know Batista?" We always warn people before they walk into the house, "If she asks you if you know Batista, just say yes." It's great. She's so gullible, and ALL my friends are in on it too, which just makes it great.
  19. I'm female. And no. I do not want to end womens' suffrage.
  20. I don't really prank people. The last time I did an April Fool's prank, it was in first grade, when I told a fourth grader that his shoes were untied. :D
  21. I think she's... incredibly skinny. And I don't find her very attractive. But, people have different opinions. I know lots of people who find her hot.
  22. Agreed. Though FF7 was pretty good. Agreed as well, but I hated FF7 and I hate the rest of the series. I love RPG's, dont' get me wrong, but the only turn based one I loved was chrono trigger. IMO, waiting 5 minutes for a monster to summon is cool the 1st time, but not the 100th! (Especialy when you can't skip it). Not to mention, random battles that take forever to do in Final Fantasy... ugh. Oh man... Agreed. I love turn based RPGs though. I just hated that on Final Fantasy, you had a certain amount of time to make your decision as to what you were going to do. I feel as though it took some of the strategy out of the game. Also, the cutscenes with summonings and all that other stuff are just annoying... Because you have no choice to skip them.
  23. Lol. He looks very intelligent!
  24. Agreed. Though FF7 was pretty good.
