No. I am not a vegetarian. I would never become one, because I like the taste of steak too much. :) I believe to some extent, animals have rights. Animals owned by humans have rights, as they are considered property. I don't think that any animal, wild or domesticated, should be tortured. By "torture" I mean unecessary pain. People around here like to play target practice with their paintball guns on stray animals. I think that is wrong. I do, however understand that unecessary pain to animals does happen accidentally, and by the hands of humans (such as someone accidentally hitting an animal with their car). I am not opposed to killing animals for the sake of hunting for food. Hunting for game, however is another matter as it is completely pointless and wasteful. I like how the nomadic people of long ago hunted and used every single part of their prey. They were respectful to nature and took only what they needed and were not wasteful. I look at killing animals for food this way: A carniverous, and hungry animal will view us and other animals as a possible meal. We're just another part of the food chain to them. We all have the right to view them the same. I believe we are not superior to animals, as we are animals. We are just more intelligent and advanced in our methods of hunting than the others. I do not believe in testing on animals. I see it as a form of torture.

Aw man, don't do that. I've heard countless stories from my friends about guys who asked "what's your favorite color" on those awekward phone conversations. It doesn't work well. But eveything else Knives said, go for I guess. Just try not to make it awekward for yourself, or it will be for her too. Really? Then don't do anything that will make things too awkward! ^_^ Don't forget to use your own discretion as well.

Agreed. Aren't some toilets sanitized regularly anyway? I know of a few fast food joints that use those things you put into the bowl, that emits santizing fluid everytime you flush.

Just call her up and talk to her like you would a friend. Get to know her. See what she's like... Ask her about her favorite food, or her favorite color, favorite movies... Stuff like that. ^_^ Tell entertaining stories, possibly funny stories from your childhood, vacations you've been on, pranks you've pulled. There are tons of things you can talk about. She'll open up to you a little more, and you'll get an idea of what she's like, and how she would like to be treated by you. I can understand you're nervous about calling her, but hopefully, you can become comfortable enough around her, that the nervousness doesn't last for very long. Good luck! :D
