the way your question is formulated is indeed complex and confusing i shall offer two separate answers 1, filler. to please and so that it does not seem like it takes weeks to level, if their was only 25 lvls per skill and lvl 25 was equal to 99, lets just say ud feel awfully depressed about lvling up. where as now its like omg, 200k exp thats not too bad, but then at lvl 90s its like oh hey 750k exp...thats a little bit but ok i can handle that. as for my second answer, i shall let my 2 associates explain why their are lvls

defender is more attack less def while obby shield has good def while both give the same str bonus. 3rd age armor is just another set of novelty armor besides the shield and coif. dragon armor is novelty for people who have over 70 def. obby shield is a novelty now because of the defender... seriously any1 who has a rune defender uses it like 90% of the time over obby shield. 20 less def is not a big deal, people think it might be, its not. maybe with magical monsters but with melee... no. on the grandscale that is barrows armor users, the def lvl usually excedes 80 def, and 80 def+ 20 def points wont get u killed, infact heres how you basically negate the reduction of def, turn your combat training to defensive and uve pretty much got it an obby shield instead of a rune defender.

yea theirs a list on a thread or 2 of all the things people have gotten chest armor cant be metal... so rockshell, white knight/iniate/proselyte all work with this thing nothing else works, not even ahrims

only chest armor stops it from collecting metal, because the chest plate/chain wraps around to your back where the thing is loctated, and is closest to the device. btw +4 ranged cape is a good rangers cape. i was hoping the usage of steel arrows armor the device would encourage it to be a better collector, but i dont think it is.

Ppl buy drag and it's well known that barrows is much better. They will certainly contnue to buy 3rd age stuff as well. but see people who play this game smart and efficient wear rune/dragon/3rd age melee armor and heal with guthans. the reason people such as my self dont wear torag or any barrows armor constantly is because it breaks. and everyone knows this.. theirs just no point in wearing torag for some people. costing $ for little protection isnt that smart, my friend got his stats to lvl 90 in all melee off chaos druid warriors ended up having like 8m in herbs probably more... 800+ rannars and 400 of everything above irits. and he wore dragon armor while doing it, well torag is better yeah but whats the point their? hes just using dragon to avoid hits occasionally, they barely hurt but unarmored u wont last long without food. 3rd age is just going to be a peice of variety, i dont like how they made it lvl 65 def requirements tho... i was thinking this was one of the "High" lvl updates they keep talkin about on the forums and it was and wasnt, low req, high status armor.. ive seen a lvl 57 wearing dragon, and ive seen 126s wearing dragon, the 126's armor should have access to much better armor then a 57 personally, i want all 3 sets just because im a collector of armors. and the shield looks like it could look good...but ill still use my rune defender. i got a steel med @ pc So can we assume it picks up any steel item? i dont think so, steel plate is heavy, maybe its 1 bar smithable steel items. axe, pickaxe and such... im curious if it would collect brutal arrows.

It does not pick up yours. It randomly "creates" arrows, dart, nails. Ah, I see. Well scratch out that idea then. :oops: when i first had read the stuff about it picking up arrows i had hopped it picked up arrows i shot out... that be more useful i think.

AWESOME! I'll be 99 construction in no time! i dont mind sarcasm or anything, but i was just trying to tell a fact and yes it is crap. i got a steel dart, i guess its any stackable steel item... im going to pc with this thing and im averaging 5 steel arrows a game

i ran around with some different types of armor this would be useful for if your doing something and wouldnt mind the arrows on a pure or something rock shell(not metal anyway) white knight initiate proselyte all those armors are not "metal enough" to to make it stop working

proselyte plate lets u pick up arrows while wearing. and dragon legs do work. i was sure it said chest armor, but wanted to make sure legs didnt get included.. armors that work(besides dhide and karils) proselyte white iniate rockshell armors that dont, barrows(-karil and dragon chest armors)

wow i think it picked up a steel knife for me to... after like 20 arrows i got 1 steel knife i dont have any steel knives so this is a shock

wow this thing is useful, but impractical, i guess ill wear this when i do pest control or something avas accumulator gets you steel arrows avas attractor gets you iron arrows, and when u buy a new device u get the attractor which can be upgraded to an accumulator. im gonna try to get 2 upgraded so i have 3 accumulators

omfg rangers have a ranger cape that isnt a lame fire cape.
