lol i see a lot of griping about being respected for a 99 skill. getting a cape doesnt earn you respect. it is how you treat others and what you do to improve the rs community is the only thing that earns respect from me. there is too much pressure put on people to get capes, thinking that somehow it will change how people see them?? the lava cape is too easy to get. the pit should be one big circle, no "safe spots", then it would deserve a little respect to see one. i didnt buy any of my stats, i just played the game, collected/traded things for skills i wanted to level. the sad part is once you get 99 it is pretty much done for you, unless you want to get 200mil xp. range was like that for me, that was prolly my most favorite thing in the game. i did got burned out on fletching before i got 99 though, i still have a lot of logs left. i may get back to it someday, for me balance is the key. lol at 10000 green hides to 99 crafting, ive done 2x that in blue hides and my crafting stinks. *on a side note* i think the emote for 99 agility is pretty cool 8-)

i dont think it will. the nats wont be the best way to get to 99 mage now. IMO there is nothing worse then sitting in a bank wearing out my right click button :roll: ancient magik will be the best way to level :twisted: . ...oh the fun at barrows and dag kings...

there is an easy solution. sell all your stuff and buy rares and start playing world of warcraft. that is what i am doing :lol: i still got a bunch of barrows stuff to sell give away.

what is funny is to see all the "twinks" that have a level 27 in red mask, drag chain and legs and obby sheild with no other stats :lol: as for me i could care less who is buying or wearing the drag/rare items i bring to the game. truth is after 4 chains it is just another drop with a decent resale, i even like a g maul drop, it is 40 d-bones closer to 99 prayer. :-k i am still trying to figure out why you'd spend your mils on anything besides guthan, verac, and karils top/skirt. those sets with slayer are real money makers, other stuff is just bling

the only things that are even worth making are the d stone items and the saphire clay braclets. the d-stones give you some nice rechagable teles to fish guild and monastary(finally can use a fury, RoW, and still have a tele to edge) and slayer mission update. the saphire braclet is better then wasting saphs on recoils or another 1000 game necklaces ill never use up in a million years. besides i use a lot of home tele tabs. the rest are pretty much junk. over all i don't see this changing anything in the game much.

this is true they did say that, but could easily make the addition to complete the set. for the kite they could do something like another dropped piece to make the kite. you'd need like ... 70 smith a right half from guild a left half drop a crest drop to make it into a dragon kite. the 3rd age is just added crap from clues, not good for a boss hunter like me. they need something to revive higher level players, bring them back with something more to do. teaming at the dags is the best thing they have done in a while. the penance thing is stupid. i am at a point now where i can go solo anything in the game, i have had multiples every rare monster drop in the game, other then slayer and prayer i have no real goals. so for me getting a dragon full helm, kite or plate would bring my interest back to rs. do not flame me saying i love the rs game, have made hundreds of friends, but i am the tail end of several(20-30) 120+ friends switching to other games. jagex needs to look at this seriously. the game will be hurt if they let this happen. ...this is just my thoughts

10/10 95 melee's are pretty good if you ask me, as for the rest they seem good too. i feel your pain wiuth the rares you sold :lol: it is funny how many people only think that solid 99's after 4 months is worthy of note. play the game at your own pace, and you only need to rate against your own goals.

it may not be impossible for a seasoned player to make the cash, but i agree phats are for the most part out of reach for most players. i agree with duke in that merchanting is better then staking. also for any idiot to say they can make 250m in one stake, you need to have something to put up :roll: not like some one will stake a phat set against your 1056k gp and 500 law runes :lol: as for me i dont merchant, pk, or stake. i kill big things. the kings and queen have been very good to my bank/stats. i will be able to hopefully upgrade my yellow soon, my goal is to get a white. i was lucky enough to be able to get it and still keep a big pile of items. i only sold my d chain, a few other drag items, 5 black masks, a mask set and a santa. it is getting harder to play RS the higher i get in WoW :oops: . santas are the easiest rare to attain/liquidate, masks and phats are more work to turn back into cash IMO.

it all depends on how much you play. if you play like 13-16 hours a day making 150m in 4 months is easy. if you play 1-2 hours it is possible. if you play on weekends... well. -i can make around .5-1m an hour off my skills. so like 200 hours for a hat. -barrpws and dags are good cash, but i can only do 2-3 dag trips a day before getting burnt out. never had much luck at barrows, i average 1 item every 100 chests, i do better with slayer drops. -treasure trails shouldn't be considered, as it is not a sure thing. ive done quite a few and only got a few god pieces, 3 robins, and other misc junk. -staking is ok if you are lucky, but a good way to loose your ... if you arent. as for cursed you winning 7 bil... :roll: there is a role model :-k i wonder why he's banned :lol: oh yes, hes involved/benifited from every type of glitch and rule breaking in rs -merchanting is possible, but the lamest way to waste time in the game IMO. point is if you want a hat/rare you can get one, but it is a lot harder then it used to be. remeber the first santa i got was for a rune leg, and i paid 650k total for my mask set (got $$ making bow strings) :wink: i am playing Warcraft a lot more money, isnt much of a focus in that game, as you get good/cool stuff by drops.

like the great wall in china? ...but you can't see it from space ...not as long either ...or as significant an acomplishment ...or as ... well at least they did top the worst weekly update ever :lol:

grats on the level 8-) :lol: you spent 32 mil on a stat that i made well over 60m and got 84 crafting on. :lol: ...but it prolly didnt take you but a few weeks so i guess it is a trade off. IMO 99 slayer and hunting are the only stats that really mean anything anymore as you can buy rest.

good luck on your goal. 8-) crafting rules! crafting is the one stat i am actually proud of. it didnt cost me much cash to get to 84, as i killed and collected most everything on my own. i did buy like 5k blue hides for level 84, and i had a few freinds that had me do their d'hides for them. the benifits have been my smith, mining, mage and range stats. i have been working on my crafting since i started pretty much just plugging along doing it as i collect the supplies. my hide collection has slowed down as i ussally only kill kbd's for slayer.

grats on the drop. the first whip is the best, but wears off after you figure out the drop rate is like 1:400. the abby head is a lot more rare, i got 1 in my house but may tear it out for my kbd head \ at Voldmort0 and kohe, as for using a pie a minute??? :-k i killed a lot of abbys before 85 slayer. i made a pact to use 100 pies per level. at 81 slayer i killed like 5-7 demons per pie, when i got to 84 slayer i was killing a ton of abbys per pie. you also should bag on someone for playing the game the way they want to play it. if they want to use the items in the game to stat boost... sounds like that is what it is in the game for. on a side note wild pies are really decent food in general. i like tuna taters too, i only have 13k sharks and cant fish them so tatersare my substitute when i dont use guthan. choc cakes are my choice for dharok'ing.

10/10 for the bank, the stats are ok too, it all depends on how much you play a day. :lol: at the [developmentally delayed] that only sees 25mil. he's got 16m in red hides if he alchems them :roll: BTW at this point cash isnt a factor for you, i'd would craft all vambs and alchem the rest of your hides crafting items, i do all my gems into ammys now and alchem them(besides glories) you can try to sell but i think that is a pain. i use the lunar string ammy and mud staff to string them too adding to the mage xp

your stats are decent. too many get caught up in playing like 8+ hours a day :roll: i used to be one. now i am to the point where RS is becoming a tad boring, prayer isn't keeping my interest. the only thing left is slaying... :-k work at your own pace and the cash and stats will come. i'll say 10/10

grats on the level 8-) 93-99 slayer is the only real RS acomplishment deserving any respect at all. congrats on being an elite.

stats 8/10 bank 6/10 i love the tortise shells, i cant wait to find out what they are for. crafting perhaps :-k you have a lot less fish then i'd expect, or at least more items from selling the fish. oh and, sell me your nests!!! \ 854 brews with 400 more toadflax herbs in bank FTW! just a note dont save pic as a *bmp* :ohnoes: that is like 4,000,000x the bytes of a *png* @sauraman, its a bmp, dont think it has viruses, just is a really, really, really big image file

i think it all comes down to some kind of factor built in to characters. let me explain. i have an insane drop rate for rare items from slayer creatures. about 1:300 for the rare specialty item(whip, black masks, mystic items, metal boots, ect) my dragon drop rate is very high too, that may be due to the amount of boss creatures i kill. even creatures like fire giants, metal drags, ect are very good to me. i have gotten 4 chains, 9 meds, 3 spears, 2 sheilds, 2 2-hnders, 3 legs, 4 skirts, i lost count of axes after 40 :P . on the other hand my barrow drop rate stinks. i have well over 1000 chests and only 4 barrows drops(all junk), and 2 d meds. while the runes pay for the trip, the items are not there. i have freinds with many drops from barrows and nowhere near the drag and slayer drops i have. the controls are not in place for a totally acurate comparison, but IMO something is programed into each account. it may be a way to balance the game items. just my thoughts and experiances

be nice to see some stats :-k hard to reference and rate. the whole mask and 1 mil skulled in wild... :^o loose that, only a chump would say that even if it is true :shame:

grats 8-) nothing like a red thing laying on the ground. all i ever got at 141s is a spear :P i waited a long time to finnaly get a sheild half (over 50 drag drops), then i got a second half within 2 weeks :shock: i got a med, spear and sheild from abys in the last few weeks :-w along with 12 whips

this would definately be a pleasant feature. World of Warcraft has it. i would like to also see a show screen, that would allow you to "show" other players your inventory. the difference would be that you could let other players see the abby demon head you just got, or the 10 crystal bows you have, or the other untradable items you have. an expansion to that would be to allow players to examine other players banks. have it so youd have to both be in the bank and the viewing player would have to be on the owners freinds list with chat on. simalar to the contols on entering the house. none of these things is a huge neccesity, but would be a good addition to the game.
