Agreed I was thinking the same when I was reading the knowledge base. I think this update is to benefit those who cannot afford or who cannot do Manage thy Kingdom. i get all my nests from soloing the mole, easier then woodcutting and better then walking all the way to miscellania :lol:

i appoligize if i mis-understood :oops: when i read it i thought it meant if you die you loose out on any split and any items you lost too. i do not king like this. we do it very different then anyone i have talked too or any guide i have seen, with only 2-3 people on a 1800+ world. we have a very high kill count per trip, and lures are not a factor. in fact most end up teleing or dying :lol:

so if you die your crew keeps your stuff and you get nothing of the split? hmm where do i sign up for such a great band of kingers :roll: this sounds like a group of high levels leading lambs to slaughter for their items. i have made a hundered mil at kings, have gone with several different people, but never once did i/we every shaft anyone out of the split or keep their items, even when they died. i have returned many ranger/rune boots, guth spears, whips, guth/verc helms, runes, archer/zerker rings, glories and fury ammys. unless i am misunderstanding, this seems like the wrong way to go to kings. i have seen too many trips where someone dies due to something out of the norm, or a small mishap to basicly screw them. got to be more trust in the crew then that. @oddfarie the days of 5-7 axes a trip are gone :evil: the nerfed the drops so the axes tightended up, we have been staying longer getting less axes

it is funny to see the newer players reacting to people with rares. OMG!!! you are so rich!!! i know plenty of people that have played years more then me. some of them are half my level, some of them twice my level. some of them have many phat sets, some are broke. i dont get to wrapped up with seeing lots of bling, as a lot of this is luck and not skills.

...and what merchants dont do this :lol: 99% of merchants are price fixers and scamers. some examples... -try to buy dragon bone notes and see how many swaps for big bone notes you get. -try to sell your dag king drops, and see how many people do the removing cash scam on you (selling drag axe for 3,200,000 - 3,167,996 = 32004, like i havent had this tried 3200000 times =; ) my opinion of "merchants" is not a good one. they are all in it for one reason, to make easy fast cash any way they can. i believe most of the big ones make up a majority of the keylogging hacks too.

at 99 range i should be able to roast most any mage beside a level 115+ tank mage, this is not the case. although i hardly ever die, i am not raking in kills :P the team thing in single needs to be changed so i can keep attacking even if they stop and the freind jumps in. that would boost kills. as most would be dead by the time their buddy made me eat. evening out the triangle. ...but then most ways of making cash pale to compare to a 2 hour trip to dag kings where you average 2-3m a trip. :thumbsup: so i guess the fact that i am a range/melee/(adding prayer) tank is ok for me.

minimum combat for legends is prolly around 47 conventinal and 39-40 if you made it at pest control. you need the 45 str, 56 mage minimum, i'd also say you would need 43 prayer or at least mage prot for "recipe" you are going to get combat xp for doing some quests so a level 3 is out of the question.

this only works with the random event items, capes (God and fire) don't work :cry:

range just blows for pking now. range did have a very powerfull spec barrage (it was 3 spec, and a 4th in a few seconds) but now with the one spec it is crap. i get hit by ice barrage and tbed almost every time, in full black. by the same if i get a spec to hit anything higher then 20 i am doing good, but the next 12 arrows ussally never hit. i got pooned by a 101 chump in ahrims and a dds the other day. that shouldn't happen to a 120 with 99 range and 97 att. the ranger spec and atts where changed due to crying and whining by melee, the same people that cried about rangers taking good training spots, so they made brimhaven dungeon full of dogs and few melee besides high levels train there anyway =; just jagex catering to the majority of whiners

i guess one of my dungeon hallways will have to come out #-o need to do some more planning, just spent millions remodeling for my 99 range party lol the bank space will be nice but it just means by this week end i will have even more stuff i dont need and it will be full again :XD: oh well 8-) it will be nice to store stuff you dont use outside your bank.

ill bet that if you loose your fire cape they will say... "too bad, so sad" ...just like they do for all the other glitches that have cost people millions just ask the guy that lost a blue phat in the fally/construction doinkfest

the drops seem to be feast or famine. we go to dags and get like 6-8 rares a trip most times, last 3 trips nothing at all. i went 2 tasks with no black masks, the other day i got 4 in one task :shock: keep on slaying

dragon hallys, one of the best return for the nat :lol: i wish i could alchem like 10000 of them :shock: i have done so many dragon hides(vambs are better for mage xp and bodies are best for craft/cash) and bows :P rune daggers and long swords are fun to do, i save up like 100 then zap them into cash 8-) addy plates, legs and larges arent bad either they could make like 10-20 staffs in the store :evil: but you will never see this changed, it is way too good xp. i know i did close to 12000 different staves to get my craft/mage up. making the glass,/obrs, charging them, the crafting staffs and alcheming is insane xp :P ill be 99 craft and mage if they do change it, as i did not mind doing orbs. on a side note the dag kings do drop 10 noted staffs w/o orbs :-w

i have gotten some good kills like that. i had one stupid enough to att me in seer helm, god cape, blck top, mystic bottom carring a mage bow :shock: now does that look like rcing gear :lol: what i hate are protection prayers, or have a whips alchem for 20k :thumbsup:

ALL: -57 magic -19 range attack +117 stab +115 slash +100 crush -11 magic +113 range defense +17 prayer ummmm, that is garbage next to veracs. so i dont think this will revolutionize killing the queen, dag kings, metal drags, or even angry skeletons :lol:

i would say get a stat over 93 (half way to 99) or just quit. BTW a fire cape isn't hard to get, it just takes getting the timing down. the cave should be a circle, with no safe spots, and all the creatures should close and melee you. then it may have some value of respect to have it. muggi and the people getting it with melee are the only ones that have done it real as for doing a king trip, they'd whip you like a redheaded step child. :twisted: ...and sitting down there just maging rex doesn't count as doing a king trip :shame: @jessy's response well said bro. i know 2 people with full and i have a ton of respect for them. that is some commitment to playing. 8-)

this gets you to the login for world 2, but you still may get the message "there are too many people logged into this world, please try again" *edit* oops, i guess someone already said this. :wall: it is a bit better then how i do it by leaving a world 2 window opened :-k

having gotten to 81 crafting and almost 50 ranging (45-97) levels off dragon my own dragon hides, i consider myself to be a very acomplished dragon slayer, and i would like to add to your guide. RED DRAGONS red drags are very good cash and easy to bank now that houses are out. you can also have a friend bank for you. i have a team of 2 rangers and 1 banker. the banker takes care of the dogs(use a dragon wood axe to save space) the first run so they dont bother the archers. at 5500-7500 per drag (hides are 3k crafted/alchemed or 4k-5k on market) + misc drops, rune longs, addy plates, rune arrows, blood/death/law runes, clues and coins it is very profitable and out standing range xp the only cost we have is iron arrows and the water runes and clay :lol: for tele tabs to ardy for the banker. the fee to get to brimmy and enter to dungeon is always covered by the coin drops. we average a rune long and addy plate about every 20-30 dragons. our banker is a mage and will alchem anything over 600gp. :wink: we make close to 80k a bank run on average, and the runner ussally has a hard time keeping up. As for your gear list... my equipment -archer helm -glory/archer ring (dragons aren't worth using a wealth) -dark gloves - RFD -d'hide top -d'hide chaps -God cape -snake boots -crystal bow or mage bow/iron arrows Metal dragons and equipment list BRONZE -guthan helm -dark gloves -glory/beserker ring -guthan plate -guthan skirt -rune boots -whip -anti fire sheild inventory -guthan spear (to heal on dogs) -3x SAP -2x prayer pot -12x anti fire pots -7 sharks -disposable axe -905 gp i do not pray on these. i use the guthan to heal between dragons on the dogs and demons. becareful you dont get hit without a shield :shame: by a dragon. :-k i have 97 range and dont even bother with ranging at barrows, why waste the bolts. i use dds(ahrim and karil) and ice barrage/burst(melee bros)

the fact is it could possibly be done at lower levels, if you had ancient blood spells, and 85 range with 43 prayer. would not be cheap :roll: which make you wonder where that kinda cash is funded from :lol: but in all defense i can almost make it all the way in rune armor, crystal bow, prayer pots and lobs. several peeps have done it without using guthan or barrows.
