I'm considering going into a nail making business with the new construction thing going on. Who here would want to buy nails, how many at a time and how much for? Let me know and if the prices are good then I'll probably get into it.

I wanted to know where they are as well, I specifically went looking after reading that, but can't find any! Maybe they meant the spawn rate is increased? Now, everybody put your hands together for that ever so helpful comment from degenerate. I see some people saying they're selling for 1k, but I don't see anyone buying, I'm with rft on this, I would NOT pay 1k per plank.

I bought a cannon recently so I'm quite interested too, was thinking about setting it up in the elemental workshop, or in the ice/white wolf mountain where there are all the ice warriors and the queen(for heros), thats a multi combat area I believe and I doubt many people go training down there.

RFD? It's looking like this'll be a split between herblore and slayer. I dont level too slowly in herblore, and actually spent more on it than RC, which is easier to recoup my losses on. I try and make money to fund a skill using that same skill, I'm not sure why, and I can do that with laws and essence and world 66 crafting for rc, so it wont go on that. Thanks for the advice guys, I'm still taking some more, I'll use the lamps tonight(so annoying you can't bank them!)

Well, I'd like to up my crafting, but I've decided I'm just gonna sit in the guild and make a ton of pot lids for a day, that'll get me up a bit(ive got some fire orbs, but i cant put them on a staff yet). I'm thinking I might put one lamp towards herblore and possibly one towards slayer. Still taking suggestions though! Gonna do tears of guthix first so I get some herblore exp.

I'm due to finish One Small Favour soon(within an hour), so where should I put the two lots of 10k expereince from the lamps into? I'm thinking about training my mage up a bit, hopefully to 68 then I could actually enchant my dragonstone stuff, although its not really why I want it to 68, 68 is just a number I want to achieve. Point is, where would be ideal and what spell? I've got about 500 chaos to burn up, and 1600 deaths, and nigh on 10k fires. I could also use airs and a fire staff if i run low, as opposed to the plan of fires and an air staff. Point is, what should I train on and where? (oh yeah, another question, should I string and high alch my maple longs, or just string them and sell them to a shop at a loss? I'd lose out if I high alched as well, which I'm not really doing atm because I collected my own maples and strings. I could sell the nats for 300ish each, and make more money)

I gotta agree with you, I asked similar questions, and don't think I got a straight answer. Then my topic was locked, and nobody pointed me in the direction of this one(which I've only just found). Jeppe seemed to be insisting no passwords were actually leaked or obtained to the hacker, the only things available were 'files', like php and html ones. Apparently the password database can only be accessed from within the server on which it is stored, yet there were tip.it posts saying that some accounts had been compromised, which totally contradicted it. What is this business about passwords being leaked for sometime as well? Exactly how severe was the security compromise, and why were only some accounts locked by jagex? I know mine wasnt, but then again, I have a different username AND password to runescape.

Sometimes I wonder how hard it is for people to read. Most people, and me included, would probably tell you to use a scimmy of some sort. Dlong if you cant get a d scimmy, if you cant get either, then use a rune scimmy. The way to look at it is while they're slightly weaker than longs, they're faster. Say if you hit average of 4s with a scimmy, and 5s with a long, and the scimmy was 1.5 times faster than a long, then in the time a long would do 10 damage, you'd do 12 with the scimmy. If you're a member, try training on experiments(need to do a bit of creature of fenkenstrain), weak and good xp, or rock crabs. Also, I noticed the monsters down in 'The Rift' are good xp too, so do a soul's bane(really easy, will take like half hour tops), and then go back down the rift and kick some crazy creature butt.

Is there like a ring of charos guide anywhere that I'm missing, that tells you all the things you can do with an old man enchanted ring? So far I know you can ride free to karamja, choose your own kitten, and get 150 per fur from baraek. What other things can it do for me?

No, I don't believe it does. Are you talking about the wilderness, which is north of everything, or the dueling arena, which is east of al kharid? They are two very very different areas in terms of what can and will happen. The stuff said by B_50_2 is applicable to the duelling arena, not the wilderness. The only time you can ever duel outside of the dueling arena is in rs1.

Ah, I wasnt aware of it. The mod who removed my second post questioning the whereabouts of my first said he didnt know what had happened. Thats another point I forgot to mention, why not have like a warning then banning system? Say you give people a warning, which stays for 6 months, if they commit another offense within that 6 months, they get another warning and a temp ban and both stay for another 6 months. Another in that time, and they get banned according. 3 strikes and your out sort of thing.

Both these ideas are taken from another forum I visit, un-rs related, but from what has happened to me over the past week, I think are useful to have. Firstly, I think there should be an appeals forum, rather than an appeals form which takes up to 30 days. If you made a forum, we could get quicker responses and reasons for being banned. Also, in this forum, when a person is banned, a post could be made entailing why they have been banned. Obviously, people will not be able to visit this forum once they have been banned, so is it possible for you guys to actually use forum blocking?(again, from the other forum I visit), where you can block users from a specific forum. If you could do that, then you can forum block them from all forums, except the appeals forum(this way, they'd also be able to use PMs to contact administrration, which I could not do). Secondly, is an idea of a recycle bin. Whenever a post is deleted by someone who is not the original posted, it should actually be locked and moved into this forum. The reason I ask for this, is because a post of mine was deleted from the Tailor Shop, and there was no explanation of why to me. The post could not be located anywhere at all, and when I made a post wanting to know what had happened to it, I was banned for being demanding and apparently using offensive language. The forum mod does not appear to know where my post has gone(it was not inactive, it had actually been posted in by me within 24 hours before), if there were a recycle bin, this would be easier thing to trace. I am still wanting to know where my post went.

Um...if this is the thread you were meant to post this in, post some more credible info. You have given nothing to go on, and really, that just looks like some sort of sob post. You may also have lost all your money if you were foolish enough to use same passwords on both these sites.

Deserted areas? Tears of guthix is a popular enough place, I'd reckon at least 10 people visit it every day, if not alot more. If it was a pre-existing problem, why werent there more reported cases beforehand as well? It'd be in Jagex's interests for it not to appear like there are problems with the entire game's underlying engine. I didnt see it happen though, so dont know about those strange messages either. Although, something weird did happen near there today, on my way back from ToG minigame, I walked past some guy, then jumped over the rock as standard, got caught up with the wall beast, then suddenly on the mini-map a white dot(as in another player) flew in from the top left, and landed near the river/stream thing with a rock in it. According to him, all he had just done was jump over the rock, but it looked like he had flown in from well outside the caves somewhere.

You may. Then again, it may not be, they might just think it is. Who knows? I also don't believe that it wasnt a new engine thing, because if it wasnt, why wasnt it happening before the new engine was in place? Unless someone can confirm that it was?

it isnt fake, someone else has just told me about this, and with pictures too. I trust her as well, so I don't know what jagex are doing about it, but I was looking forward to going down there today after I get my membership sorted, maybe I won't now.
