  1. You can make your owns nats, so I assume you do. Yew longs are pretty good money when you can, even if you buy logs for 300 and strings for 150 you can make 318gp per nat, which isn't a bad price in itself. Cut your own yews, and maybe buy flax and spin it, and you're looking about 550 profit per yew long alched. Mage shorts aren't great for the money, considering you could sell the logs for more if you can cut them, and if you have to buy them then you're out of pocket. Mage longs are only really any good then if you can cut your own mage logs, so I'd say stick to the yew longs. (when you get there that is, I notice you still have a long way to go til 70 fletching)
  2. For prices, I refer you to http://www.zybez.net, check price guide down the right hand side. For alch values, I refer you to the fletching guide on tip.it itself(768 for a yew long, the best money maker from flteching and alching probably. Think it's 1024 for magic short) http://tip.it/runescape/?page=fletching_guide.htm Just at the bottom above the credits is the full table, with high and low alchs, for strung and unstrung bows. The high alch for a short is 960.
  3. How would I go about makiing a wild pie? I read its made from various meats, namely chompy and rabbit meats. Where would I get all the ingredients needed to make a wild pie, and what would I have to do to get them?
  4. oh crapsipoo, I KNEW I should have read this thread when I saw it on saturday. Grr, I'd have loved to take part.
  5. Doubt it, it hasnt got your name! That could be a post of ANYONE. :P
  6. I'll join too, ears was the first holiday drop I got, but I think I was around before the christmas. I'm cooking on the range; http://img130.imageshack.us/img130/2307 ... ant9yt.png I'm holidng my whip when it was new; http://img476.imageshack.us/img476/8079/whoopa5qg.png
  7. Thank you noctis, that's what I wanted to know. I already had a ninja one from killing an archer monkey, I'll get the big ninja one whenever I need to go back there. Thanks everyone!
  8. The bottom of the quest guide says nothing about the other greegrees...
  9. Hello, I had a look and didnt find much of substance, so I made a post. I'm curious as to how many different greegrees you can actually get, and also whether they are tradeable or not? A location of monkeys would be nice for the greegrees too, I already have karamja and ninja, about to get a temple guard one and a zombie one, but some guy just told me theres at least 5, so whats the 5th one, and others if there are more?
  10. type out every single bad or questionable word you can think of, and click preview, it should show you the converted words. Don't make an actual post though, that'd be spam. Or maybe you could and edit it real quick, but I don't advise that at all. [cabbage] test
  11. HAX! I don't see why that guy should thank you, it wasn't him asking for help. He was merely telling you that your advice wasn't very good in his opinion. I'll have to agree, you can do it with low combat anyway, good food or good prayer is pretty handy to have though.
  12. Same, and if you get there early, don't just stand there, there's a low wall you can go back and forth over gaining a little xp while you wait. It's good because if you stack the recovery is probably the quickest out of all the obstacles. Another tip, keep your health under 20, because when it goes over 20 the damage you take from obstacles is higher, but keep some food spare to get back to the entrance/exit with. If you die in there, you will lose everything, including your tickets, so make sure you can get back somehow.
  13. Fish lobs and sell them. Alternative, you're only 41 RC. RC something to get that extra 3 levels and do the zammy mage's mini quest and get yourself pouches then nat craft through the abyss. You could then sell the nats, or high alch stuff with them.
  14. It's exactly 120 coal in fact, but of course you can always take another 28 back with you in your inventory. You can put coal in any one of the trucks on the track, and it will be available to you in any other of the trucks on the track. It's like a minibank system, exclusive to coal and networked along that track.
  15. South side of the obelisk is the safe spot, as said, but with your mage level I'd say you're more than ready. I did it below the required mage level with a mind bomb, as long as you hit that safe spot, bring more than enough runes(bring enough for 3 of each of the required spells, plus projectile spells of your choice, and either teleport runes or a teleport piece of jewellery). Take like 1 antipoison(4), should be fine for you. The demon is the only real hard part of the quest, the gold bit is a little tricky too, but mainly thats long. If you can deal with chronozon, you should be able to deal with the gold bit without too many problems.
  16. really? have the actual ffl rules changed? I wasnt aware of it, if thats the case, I might go back and be a crafter! I'd recommend the came teles as well, with law running to obtain the laws. Use up any old runes you have as well with a staff, such as minds and chaos if you don't plan to actually mage aggressively with them at any point in time.
  17. ah! Thank you very much. I didn't look around much there because someone else was in that very area and asking where he was, I assumed they were in fact a sensible person who had looked thoroughly. Here's hoping I don't die any time soon, or my RoL turns out to be useful. As it turns out, lag was my greatest enemy, I manage to just scrape through without dying after dancing halfway across the island. The route originally suggested by you couldn't be taken either, so I had to run past everything else on the other side of the temple.
  18. Since I hit 40 agility, I train at the agility arena on brimhaven, because you get xp for going round, and can cash in the tickets for xp later on as well. It's better at 40+ because you can use the higher obstacles, although those darts lower you agility with each hit they do to you. It's pretty easy though, and sometimes theres people there to talk to as well if you wanna be talking while you do it/wait for the ticketpost to change. Although I try to use that time to try to get to the middle of the arena.
  19. I eventually managed to escape that big oaf of a gorilla that kept beating me round my head, but now, I'm at a loss of where to go. The tip.it quest guide is telling me to go places to find the seargeant, but I can't seem to find him with those directions, and I don't want to die! Can someone do me a favour and mark on this map the general area where he is then re-upload it for me? http://img385.imageshack.us/img385/3597/mmgrrr6ks.png Or give me a really good description, in relation to that.
  20. I see, I was curious as to whether it was non tradeable and regainable or not, good to know that it is. Handy to have, I checked the stats on it, and it doesn give +13 to everything, which is more than I realised. Thanks everyone!
  21. Firstly, is that amulet good for anything really? Secondly, I've obviously completed tree gnome village hence me having the amulet, but the meanie tree in Gnome Stronghold won't talk to me! Whats wrong? Is it anything to do with the fact that I'm on the Grand Tree quest, or do I just smell a bit repulsive, having not washed in 4 years?
  22. http://www.zybez.net Has a nice little priceguide on it, check it out. It currently lists d med for 550-650k, which is about the range I've seen it going for anyway.
  23. Ooo, get that quest done anyway. Thats like one of the best quests to have done on f2p as it is, saves alot of time/money. Everyone says he, looks kind of like a girl in the pic... As for the guy who somehow thought they'd only played 4 hours, I'd be amazed to see you get all but 1 quest and stats like that done in just 4 hours, you should have tried to pass it off as a sarcastic remark. Irish Geek, how often do you play runescape? For four years of playing, if you played alot I'd have reckoned on better stats than that? I noticed you only have 57 mining as well, if you plan on raising mining/smithing, I'd have said to get 60 before you get members so you can use the mining guild which is usually alot less crowded on members servers than f2p servers. Then again, with memebers you can use the coal trucks NW of McGrubbor woods, so maybe it doesnt really matter.
  24. Won't bob in lumbridge do it for you too? Or is that something else I'm thinking of? (what level do you need to build a thing in your house to do it yourself?)
  25. What should I train with for my strength training? I've got a dbaxe, and a rune scimmy. Would a d scimmy be better than a baxe due to it being faster? Obviously, I can't use my whip cos it doesnt have an aggressive option, and the only other viable weapon would probably be a dds. What should I use? (i dont actually have a scimmy, or monkey madness completed/started, but I imagine I could get it done if I really needed to)
