Just today finally got myself 55 slayer and bought a staff so I could burn up my chaos using crumble on autocast. However, I'm curious, is magic dart good for much other stuff? What's it good for? I hear its effective on the barrows brothers, although I've never been there. I'm looking for all good uses of the magic dart spell!

Well no, I already said that it can also be cast upon shades. It might also work on ghouls, I'm not sure about them though. EDIT:I realise, I had actually said that in another post. It still stands though, the spell can be used on shades in mort'ton. Actually, I thought Goobore had clarified it quite well with his earlier post.

A couple of the searches I've run have turned up no results. Namely searches for 'prayer' and 'page'. There a known problem with the search function or what? I highly doubt there are no posts on this forum containing the word page or prayer :lol:

Not even "Fairy Tale Part 1 - Growing Plants"? Other than that :P (it's growing pains btw) Can someone explain the numbers to me? They confuse me. I did kind of prefer the older guide, although this has more info. It's just those numbers, make it look ugly.

I think the only way to die in there as a result of another player is if they poisoned you right before you went through.

Search is your friend. Click it, and type in fairy. You should see a post in the results somewhere about a fairy ring guide in general p2p(the kbase also has a few on it if you wanna take a gander, but not all).

Another place to go casting crumble undead could be in Mort'ton, as shades count as undead. You can use it inside the tombs, or even just by the temple to defend and earn sanctity, if you're into shade burning that is.

if YOU smelt 139 ores, then change to another ring, no matter what happens, the ring will dissolve on the next smelt. As people have said, the 'charges' lie with your character, and not the individual ring. Such items that have 'charges' specific to the item will carry a number. It is the same with rings of recoil, the amount of recoil damage is stored on your character, not the ring. (p.s I can sell you some if you want)

*methinks this is more suited to general* Anyhoo, best for me has already been said. Once I got a half key, which was great because I'd just bought the same half key to open the chest, so in effect I sort of got a free dragonstone. Second, 3x rune bars, only problem is trying to find someone to smith them for me :(.

Daylight, its like how the ectofungus gives you 4x the xp per bone, a gilded altar gives 3.5x the xp, but is worth that little loss because it is so much faster than the ectofungus. Hope that clears it up. (No, I don't have an altar, but I am looking for one!)

Good xp? Crumble undead with them! I see you have 55 slayer, and thus can wield the slayer staff which autocasts crumble undead. However, before doing this check to see if crumble only gives 24.5xp per cast, or whether it gives 24.5xp plus 2xp per damage inflicted. If it's the former, then it isn't worth it at all. I see also that you have 65 magic, go to fally and purchase a wizard's mind bomb, go to yanille, drink it and go into the guild. Downstairs is a cage full of zombies perfect for casting crumble on.

So, I just got them as a slayer task and am intending on going down to the members dungeon to take them on. I notice they're like level 112, I'm level 90, are they hard hitting, or hard to hit? What's the most effective way to fight them? And also, can I setup my cannon down there?

The base was double what it is now, which is 49xp per cast. I think with that though, there was no bonus for the damage, whereas now there is. Don't hold me to this though, I may be wrong. *goes to check the kbase*

You can get them for 200 these days too. I just bought 100 for 20k. I'll buy some strings, thats like 350 and i'll alch for 768.

The biggest threat really is magers, so mage defense is good. Although I usually wear crappy metal armour for protection against the abyssal monsters. I got pked by a mage recently, so maybe don't take metal armour. Other than that, I wear my glory, wield an iron pick and a ring of life(didnt save me last time but has before), then fill my inv with only pouches and essence. If you are about to get pked, drop your pouches, that way they will stay on the floor a little longer, as opposed to disappearing when you get pked. If you spawn in fally, or can get to a bank quick, you can whip out a glory tele to edge then run back to your stuff pile and see whats left, your pouches should be there if you were quick enough.

Don't ask for the world, find the clan and join it. Theres a reason they change their worlds, and why they don't just make it public. Everybody hates a leech, except some people.

get 91rc and double on nats through the abyss with pouches. Just spend a whole day abyss crafting nats anyway, they're good money. I just asked my friend whos 91rc and she says she can make about 1mil in an hour(around 900k) doing the above thing, so for you currently it'd maybe take about 6 hours solid abyss nat crafting for you to make 2mil.

There isn't a calc, but there is a planner. The reason there isn't a good calc is because theres the variability involved in farming, such as whether you use regular compost, or super, and depends on how much crops you yield.

Just to point out, it's crumble undead, not crumple. I do believe the base xp is actually higher with crumble undead than with fire bolt, and someone also told me that you get 2xp per damage done, so from that I'd think cumble undead would be a better choice if you had the slayer staff that you could autocast it. Fire bolt however can be used on anything, and can be autocast, so maybe thats a better option.

Didn't know there were green eggs! I've got a couple blue. How about probisci? Have they got a proper use yet?

Is it good for anything at all? Can you do anything with it, or use it for anything? Also, what other items are currently in the game with no purpose to them at all?
