  1. skill? on an image that size? hardly, just use paint and paint around the edges. the only thing worth money on that is the design, and it's ok, but not more, maybe 30k or smth.
  2. yup, done that :D but i think you should make a complete bg of it, or something else, i've really come to like this work of yours :)
  3. whoa, that's pretty sweet. :D
  4. the shading on the rocks seem almost reversed to me. the wall is darker then the edge of the right tower it joins with. but as dark as the other end. looks odd to me, and there's a chunk in the middle of the pic where it's nothing at all, just empty space. it's a nicely executed, kinda simply drawn piece of art. it looks really good at first glance, but leaves alot to be desired technique-wise. the shading style used on the walls for example. maybe try out a tecture instead? things i do like are the moon, its reflection is really nice and the sky looks good, but the stars don't really look like stars...but i suppose that's excused by the fact that we're in narnia ;) gotta love that place a really good start. IMO
  5. nice :D maybe you should try some ambient lighting? like some blueish glow from the moon reflected on one side. i dunno, but they are kinda bland colour-wise. not much going on, but of course perfectly shaded technically. just saying they could be made more interesting. keep up the awesome job
  6. whoever said he was an RS char? and besides, ever heard of small shields, they're probably as good as large kite shields when in combat, cause they are much more easy to use quickly...not as good against arrows, ofcourse, but in melee... anyway, i don't really like the guide, not for a neeb, but it works for you. i think it'd be easier to work with shapes like cirkels and triangels...but maybe that's just me.

17.12 kb for me. if you're talking about the image in the post anyway. Firefox rocks.
  8. yea, cmon zim, you seem to start an awful lot of projects that don't get finished, do this one and show some skill, just this once, your work is amazing :D
  9. umm...no hate or anything, but from what i've seen nadril and azvareth do i'll take their cue that they're quite easy to do, for them. that doesn't mean you find them easy...we're all different, just saying that i think they look ok, but the same. abit variation wouldn't hurt.
  10. You cant b serious    btw why do i keep thinking sigs cana be 350X150?? GRRR ya, check out zimlem's and the_jeppoz's works, mspaint aswell, or maybe graphics gale but still done pixel by pixel.
  11. aww, come one, what has a landscape that a rodent hasn't? huh? i give yours 2 mice out of 5 possible.
  12. 7/10 ya, princessa, that's almost up-tp-par with your best work to-date...;) hehe
  13. i love it :D my new wallpaper now :) unless you mind ofcourse. images like yours that makes me wish i had the patinence to sit down and to do them...ooh, Guns and Roses - Patience on now...a sign? ;)
  14. hmm, maybe it is, you are the zillion making pixel artist so i think you should be the one who knows ;) keep it up, IMO this is the best by you yet.
  15. the shapes and perspectives of everything is really neat, but i don't like the colouring. he alwyas uses the same coluors and they have been boring from the start. but it's still an awesome piece of work just by the things that are good in it. :D
  16. can't you pixel iso? it's just a perspective, isometric, means that everything is the same size. Baldur's Gate and diablo are good examples of iso games for example. so this isn't iso since the thing behind the house seems to be drawn at a smaller scale than the house. also, the fence should get smaller towards the top if it should change size, not bigger. the back part of the roof seems to be at a different angle to the front aswell. needs alot of work, and i've never really seen any iso work look good in a sig, but i wish you luck :) Iso's a very big part of pixel. Sometimes i don't realy consider some of the pixels to be on here pixels. and yes, the proportions are way out of well... proportion. And theres no1 bouncing  yes, that was my point excactly, before i saw you guys calling every MSPaint image pixel art i only knew of Iso pixeling. now i've founf pixelation.net and understand that there are many kinds of pixeling ofcourse, but far from all which are called pixel here would be...shall we sayed welcomed as pixel on the pixel boards. [/offtopic] yea, where's the bouncing guy?! ;)

  18. ya, since it would be quite hard to do the shading as if coming from their hands maybe do a broken lamp on one wall still casting this gloomy light on the wall. i dunno, but try to make it easy for you, that's most of the time what gives the best results i think.
  19. pretty awesome :D although the hiccup frame looks misplaced, remove that please :)
  20. does that mean you now have a pixel program which has layer? cause otherwise i suggest graphics gale, a free program, kinda like an upgraded paint, with layers and a great palette system. just incase
  21. i downloaded in ~500 kb/sec :D fast server, took less than a minute i think. it looks pretty cool, i don't know how hard it is with the texturing and all, but it works. the camera does it's spinning thing and is kinda jerky, but you mentioned that already. i'm not sure on the explosion, the timing of the falling shards, etc. but nice piece, very hard to crit since i can't imagine what it's all about.
  22. looks really cool, hard to tell if it's super-awesome (which it probably is) if you haven't seen all the attempts which led to this, though :D can't wait to see the finished result.
