Thx for the feedback every1. Following your points i noticed the left head was a bit out of proportions and redesigned it. Minor changes done here and there 2, but nothing that big. Thx again.

I think the main answer is "time". Some years of freehand drawing and a bit of humor or some ideas flashing in your mind then help a bit 2 giving the right style. However it's just a matter of time. Spending 10 hours on a work gives a certain result, 20 mins gives another.

Again, look at that work...it's a background with the same (bad) text of the previous one with a very poor font, imo. The bg itself...u claim it ? Then explain me why the ripples are periodical ? u can see they are exactely the same after a short distance. That makes me think of a web page background block used there, and the overall bad quality of the image compression compared to foreground (as the previous one)suggests the same. If u designed that in Ps then u'll hardly have such an effect. Any1 noticed that ? Back on the 3d model, no proof it's yours since u posted the 2d version. Nice work however, whoever made it. But what you realy miss in my opinion is that unless u make something nice ON this board and costumized for the requests from ppl here, going around with all bla bla bla about your pro skills and awards sounds pointless and will only attract some "flaming" or bashing. What i'm saying is that you probably might be what u say, but as far as now the 2 works you submitted don't prove that fact.

He asked for certain text with a facy font on a green and black texture. I did exactly that, and don't see how it could have done better. Whether I am to be considered profressional is debatable. I have done very high quality 3D modeling and rendering for large, organised companies. For that I can surely be considered professional. However, I have not done pixel art for any commercial games or programs. Banners are mostly pixel art with modeling occasionally involved. I have made banners for professional indie programmers, but not companies. So, as I said, it is debatable, varying based on definition and interpretation. Cuccurrumino: Please get me a screenshot of the ranger with full black dragon. And one with the head you would like sticking out of the bag. And a magic long bow I suppose. Getting a request of that kind could have turned out into something way better or at least many non professional artist in these boards could have made something nicer. The day we'll have flying islands in Rs that will be a sunset...however it's way 2 prespective oriented compared to my usual style...but i wanted to try something different...plus the requests involved a bigger field of view...and since i don't like small characters the solution was obvious. I had a full page of instructions for this sigs...plus a given pic for the armors. Nothing much i could do but follow the guidelines and add some nice (i hope) ideas. Oh and don't insult me... I NEVER WORK WITH GRADIENTS :evil:

I'd say stay underwater. I personaly don't like that sig that much. Don't get me wrong,technicaly it's some realy sexy brushing but the overall doesn't catch me. I think you should improve your underwater ones till you get something perfect. Those are realy brilliant. However 7.5/10

Too bad most of those big names filling those top 10s are no more artisticaly active on this board than my old granny when sleeping. Could be nice to see some of their works these days. Else... this whole thread is a pretty pointless history lesson filled up with some realy big Ego shots. In other words...follow 1337 example, come out your heavenly10 feet from ground resort...get back to work guys, or at least show us your most recent works. Good stuff is always welcome. IMO at least.

to make a sig smaller in paint keeping the pixel look.... work on smaller canvas :P Not bad for 15 mins. Might be nice to see a longer effort result.

Brilliant idea :D Maybe add some kind of shading on the mage and make the white lines all the same tickness. Work on the border a lil more...it's almost invisible. 9/10
