I hope I won't give up either : 79 Woodcutting and 1990 total. Closing in on 80 and 2k total \ I also worked out the costs of my plans after all stats 80+, namely all buyables 90+. That will cost me around 70m, so I need to make quite some money.

I think they last on xp though Lord Shalaj, not on time. Oropher had 5 firemaking gloves, and they all lasted ~1200 magic logs.
