I deal with it, and then just take any of the emotions i have left over (if im stressed, im usually angry) and play video games. Just immerse myself in a new world and a diffrent life helps.

Im sick about twice a year (only once one year because i had the cold for about 3 months). My immune system is excellent, and i takes something drastic to make me sick. I finnaly found out why i was sick for the last few days, it was because of lack of sleep. I had a long sleep last night, and i feel good as new! Ive only skipped school twice in my life for a sickness, ill to school witha stuffy nose, soar throat, ect... But not with an upset stomach.

Not all of us on OT play RS. My parents pay for RS seeing as i dont havea credit card. Guess i should ask to cancel or something, seeing as i havent touched it in a month and a half. And i can easily afford WoW because i work \ , preatty sure 300$ every two weeks can cover the ammount.

Obviously, i know this. But what i ment was that I didn't learn how to spell the word properly untill i was tought to spell it. If i use spell cheack, that will not teach me how to spell anything. I need to be able to use a word in a sentence in order to learn how to use it, and if a program just gives me a correction, it wont work. Im not asking anyone here to correct my spelling each time, just remember that i dont know the word.

Well after high school, i plan on going to To get some sort of science degree (Havent decided yet). Plus it is also in my city \ . After, i wish to go to Brock University to get my teaching degree, and become a top notch teacher :P I still cant get the stupid link to just have text :(

Well my first girlfriend lasted a year and two months. We were happy at first, but then it got to the point where i was around her alllllllll the time. We got preatty sick of eachother, and i had to write her a note saying it couldnt work (Which is preatty weird, since i asked her out myself, but broke up through a note?). My second girlfriend, well, if you can call her a girlfriend, kinda gave me the choice actually. My best friend dated her a few years ago, and that ended in almost the exact same why, she told him she had "Lost the feeling". Well she told me that there was love at first, and now it was all gone (Which doesnt make sense, because for me love is like a train, which dosent actually go fast till it has moved for awhile). But the thing was that i didnt feel very happy being around her, as our opinions differed so much. So i just agreed to what she said, and we just left as friends. On the way home from our walk, i kinda whistled the FF fan fair :-w

The whole Warcraft series would be a good idea for teaching about the world wars, seeing as there is a whole story behind it all.

Ive gone in and read the first 1.5 pages. It is a very interesting concept, and realistic in how schools, if given the chance to access games, could infact use these. As an example, in the article, it stated that games like sim city, and civilization are already used, and i can see why. On the other hand, i have no idea how games such as mortol combat, or halo could possibly used in the classroom. It matters on the game/type of game. In the article, it refered to many rpg's and simulation games. These games coult infact be used to help teach students how to read, understand, and plan. I approve of the article. @LP. It is your opinion. But you have based your opinion on a fact, the fact that you did worse, therefore making your opinion valid, but not true in the eyes of all.

Another point i'd like to make. If you are all judging people on their spelling and grammar (Which for you seems to equal another's intellegence) that is just plain wrong. Are you saying you are any better then those in special ed. classes? If you see them around the halls of your schools or on the streets, do you point them out and say "Hey, that person is less intellegent, lets make fun of him, and make him feel like a lower life form."? That is just disgusting. Edit: Again, i am not going to spell cheack this, and im preatty sure i spelt things wrong. If you all are so intellegent, you can sort it out. Aww muffin, am i asking for not even 2 seconds? Yes, some people do think less of you as an intelligent human being. We are more intelligent than people in special ed. classes (we meaning the people who can punctuate and were born with a regular brain and you know...). Do we make fun of them? No. If I saw you on the streets I wouldnt make fun of you...maybe "hey you tippiter" you but that's it. But since this is a thread about grammar it is perfectly appropriate to "discuss" what we think of bad grammar. Besides, those people are trying their best to do what they were born with. I can see your point, yes i did spell that wrong, and usually spell things two diffrent ways just because i end up being right one way, most of the time. You see the problem i have is that most of the words i spell wrong, i actually do not know. For an instance, i never knew how to spell actually right. RuneSmithie actually tought me how to spell it, by correcting my spelling. Not by nagging at me, not by yelling, but he actually correct me and told me i was wrong. Therefore i learned from the mistake. And i do read all my posts over. Yes i am lazy when it comes to one or two misstypes that i see, but if i see a whole sentence not make sense to even me or some spelling i know should be correct, i will correct it. It's if i do not know the word, that i run into problems.

Yes ill give my response to Astraliner's post after school, seeing as I dont have the time (It is freaking 7:00AM!) Anyways to those picking at the few sentences i spelled wrong. Did i say that i used a spell cheacker to write my posts? I said i wouldnt, as it would make my posting here a chore. And That poem that Landon posted, i could read it almost perfectly, because i am smart enough to use my brain to figure it out. But it seems just because i spell "it" as "iit" you all go into an uproar. I once had something along the lines of "Do not correct my spelling" in my sig. The "correct" was spelled wrong. Purposely. It was a test to see who could look at a meaning of a line, and not just what it was made up of (Content vs. Quality). Most people failed my test. Alot just PM'ed me saying that they saw the error, and only wished to read what they wanted, and not do what it said. Edit: I read Astra's post a few times, and thought it over. He is saying a very diffrent thing compared to the rest of you. I dont need to pick out each paragraph of his post because i basicly agree with it all. I try my best, i try to use the knowledge i have to help communicate ideas. I assume all responsability for wrong grammar, as i can fix that myself easily. But the spelling is hard for me. Why must i be made fun of for being human, and in-perfect? And im glad that some people look at the content, not the quality.

Ok last post before bed, and untill now, everyone has actually been ok, untill now: Yes i know of this program. I have used it for every essay, every paper, ever lab report i have written. I know how to use most features on the program. I deffinitly know how to use spell cheack and grammar cheack. I have used it for almost every paper, and have gotten near to perfect grammar, and perfect spelling (Grammar is sometimes a little weird on the program). What are you implying by mentioning the program. That i should use it with every post? That is stupid, and would cause posting here to become a chore, and an unenjoyable thing. Has my posts on this thread been that hard to read that you have no idea what im talking about? Im preatty sure I've payed better attention to these posts, then i have ever done to other posts. English is my first language. And does "cause" really bother you that much? I only used it a few times, and it has annoyed you? And you all seem to not understand that i do not lace my posts with "u"s and "y"s and "r"s and ect. like most people do. I actually spell things right But just cause i ommit two letters in a word, you yell at me? Im fairly sure i have a grasp on the english language, as i can read excellent, it is just my spelling and some grammar that lacks. Heack, now that im in grade 11, they care less about spelling and grammar, they dont even teach iit. We are only tought now about how to read and decipher things, and learning how to undstand what others write, and what they mean vs. what you think. I am preatty sure i undserstand this because i have read it, and i think calling me slow is a big insult, seeing as i am an honors(sp?) student. Case in point, this isnt an English class. If you don't care then why are you getting worked up about it? I think what he was saying is that if you practice bad spelling/grammar online, eventually it's going to be transferred into your schoolwork. The better your grammar is online, the quicker it will come to you when it really matters. I am sick and tired of people make assumptions, that is why! And what i ment is that i dont care if poster has an opinon on the bad spelling and grammar, all I care about is that past that, im making some of the best posts, and all you all see is the errors. Maybe if people tried looking at the good (What i mean) instead of the bad (The errors) the world could be a diffrent place. And my bad spelling and grammar do not transfer over to school work. I may not be the best speller(I do learn new words some times) but I am awsome in Grammar BTW, i dont need to write (IMO) or anything like that, cause everything is my opinion. As one of the forums worse spellers and gramaticle users, I find it my duity to reply: Well thats your opinion, I dont have to care. If you do not read a post based off of Spelling and grammar, then you are pre judging the poster, and anyone that knows me on the bored, knows that i dislike pre-judging. Oh wait, they dont, cause no one reads my posts, cause they have bad spelling/grammar? People who make spelling errors/grammar errors seem to get just as much attention, but its negative. And why should I care about my appearance? Its like in real life when you dress to look good to society, do I follow suit? No, cause I could care less! Then you could be missing some of the big picture, and some times, parts of the picture are not perfect, just like the spelling or grammar. Well i dream of someday having a family, and a good job. In more detail, I would like to have a wife and two kids, so they are never lonely. And I dream so much of being a teacher. I want to be a teacher so that i can help kids grow up and become proper adults (well ok, help their parents then :P). I also want to stop as many bad things in the world, make as many wrongs become rights. I wish to see pain, suffering, and hatred stop, and in its place, love and happyness spread.

My finest moment, was probably beating my first FF game, FFVIII. I has spent so long just on that game, and never beat any other FF. But the boss fight in FFIX was probably my most spectacular battle. I remember it was late at night, and I just finnish beating kuja, and i get to this huge boss. I had to use all my FF knowledge to beat this boss.

between 6 and 7.5 hours. I like going to bed around 12ish even on school nights, and waking up around 6-7.
