Bah rick, I just wanted to see how long the list was, not read it. I was stupid and read the first line. My child hood is now ruined :cry: On a happier not ill probably forget that and buy the book and read it allllll weekend long (When im not working)

1. Do you agree that the cloning of animals should be legal in your country? [yes] Why not? If we have the ability to do it and it helps us sure. There are so many applications for cloning. 2. Should the government spend more taxpayerÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s money on research and refining cloning techniques? [yes] I believe cloning will some day be a medical tool for people as well so I hope that any research that can be done will be done. 3. Do you think we should allow private companies to conduct research on the cloning of animals? [yes(sort of)] Yes private companies should do research and use what is already known. But some light tabs should be kept on them to make sure the cloning is being used some what humanly and that any ground breaking findings is released to the public and government 4. Would you eat any product which has been obtained from a cloned animal? Why/Why not? Ya I would. Why not? Its the exact same as any animal (Unless genetically altered to give more of certain minerals or vitamins and stuff, but thats still good) 5. Do you agree that the cloning of animals, if made legal is going to benefit society? Why/Why not? I believe that any scientific research and break through that does not hurt a human being is a step forward in for us, therefore it would be immoral to not want to better society and allow cloning. 6. Do you agree that the cloning of animals allowed in other countries would disadvantage the companies of your country? Why/why not? I don't get this question. I don't particularly care about the companies in my country, just as long as what is being done in other countries doesn't interfere with the daily lives of citizens of this country.

:x I work at wendy's, mostly at the cash register (Which has given me the nick name the "Wendy's dude" by many of the kids at my school). Its ok, but i want to quiet by the end of the summer, i can take it anymore.

:? with Starcraft coming out, and all the past games, I think they have made enough RTS games. WoW can be expanded to fit the storyline of the warcraft series, no more RTS is needed i think. If they do make a diablo game, I am wishing it is slightly different from the last two.

EWWWw lets hope not. It is very possible that it is another MMO. Was it not said earlier at some point that they are working on a second one? (Or am i confusing that with Square enix...?). Either way I would like to see an MMO of either starcraft or diablo. Although if you think about it, If one was made of Diablo it could be just as dark and attractive to mature players as another game around the bend.... isn't that what is so attractive about Age of Connan?

Oh the managers are just ecstatic right now because we are making such good sales. The employees on the other hand are very happy. We get so busy we can barely keep up, then we get customers yelling at us, we cant clean anything cause there is no time, so more customers yell, and it generally makes our lives a living hell. At around lunch time, we seriously make around enough money to pay off everyones entire shift for that day. @angry joe: Its closer to the first one, not the perfect strips. But we dont cook it, its pre cooked and we cant make it more crispy (We used to be able to by putting it in a drawer that was super heated for a long time but they made us stop do that.

Seriously we got people ordering 1 baconator for themselves (Sometimes two depending on their hunger lve) or they might decide they want a jr bacon on the side. No one notices it, but we generally make fun of them in the back... Not to mention we have had customers order extra bacon on it!!!!! Also, we are getting a lot of people complain about prices (not of the new burger, some how the bacon justifies it :S ). Little do they realize its all supply and demand. So many people are buying stuff that we can afford to raise the prices.

(I'm not spamming the forums, I've just had both topics on my mind for awhile and decided to post them now). Ok as some might know, I work at Wendy's. Now some of you might of know of the new recent addition to the burgers, the BACONATOR. This was a move I think made by the company to help(or kill) those people who love bacon. Two slices of freshly cooked meat, two slices of processed cheese, and six pieces of bacon. SIX PIECES OF FREAKING BACON! Wow, I bet some of your mouths are either watering, or wanting to go weep from all of the bacon you are reading about (I hope the latter is for the most of you, and no I am not advertising, I have a point to this). Now previous to this, we had only the Big bacon and jr. bacon on the menu (oh btw, I hope you all know the difference between the two. Should be reaaaaally obvious). Jr. Bacons were selling like hot cakes, and people liked the Big bacons for their meals. Now I'm guessing since the company was seeing that the majority of our sales is coming from these two products, which they were, and the follower up was the double burger, they figured it was time to create the ultimate burger that everyone wants. Thus the baconator was born (besides making the stupid name, they tacked on the dumb slogan "It can smell fear"). So ya, to the point of this thread. The sales of this new burger are astronomical. We are having a hard time keeping up with the amount of meat needed to supply it (If you walk in and they are saying "we are holding on meat" it is most likely due to this burger, which should die). We are selling at least 150+ of these things a day (Thats three hundred 1/4 lb patties), and on top of that we still get the doubles and triples (we are like "Thank god" when ever someone orders singles or jr's). So ya, By this time I'm hopping that I've made you slightly uneasy about this burger and not wanting to buy it as much (It is a bugger to make, so damn greasy). I would like to ask this forums, why the hell does the general public like bacon so much? What is so attractive about this burger or its predecessors? Sorry if this sounds more like a rant (it kinda is), but I would seriously like to know the reasons behind this.

Entering this topic, one may of though that it was about how I feel about the current status of the internet. But now, this is a wrong assumption. This topic is to dwell on an idea. One that can stem from what we have and branch off to be perhaps something marvelous, or something of a disaster. I ask my peers on these forums this question: Is the internet a place, or a thing? If you are in need of an example, I will provide one. Say there is a poll along the street. And you frequent there with a few other people to discuss matters, or just hang out, would you consider this poll an object (just a thing)? Or is this poll a place to you, almost somewhere where you can say "Hey, you going to the poll later on?". Obviously this is not the best example, but I think it does well to help you all answer the question, Is the internet a place or an object? Personally, I find it a place. Thus this deals with the title of this thread (It has a double meaning). As defined by Dictionary.com State: 1. the condition of a person or thing, as with respect to circumstances or attributes But there is another meaning along the list: 7. a politically unified people occupying a definite territory; nation. Myself, I think the first part of this post covers number 1. What is the internet. But this part deals with number 7. Are, or could, we be considered a nation? After reading up about the AU (American Union) forming, I'm starting to think "This could all be leading to the eventual creation of a world state, a world nation, all united". Which leads me to think, the internet... If it can be considered a place (a "definite territory"), and if perhaps we are united (a "Unified people"). then maybe, do we fit this definition of a state? A nation? A nation (by my definition, not anything else) Is defined by the culture, the people, the common morals of how things are done. On the internet, things are done with a fairly common moral, we basically have our own culture, and in this case, we are pretty much all the same people. My point to all this one might ask? Well, I think that it might be time that the internet becomes this place, this nation. A free country, not found truly anywhere, but is kind of everywhere, where everyone can feel of the same nationality, where chaos and order work together in harmony. I would like to know others positions on this idea, and if they feel that the internet is a place or a thing.

Lol, the NAD. Imagine buying things: "that will be 5 NADs". :lol: Nah, if it was North American Dollars and NAD was the short form, NAD would just be the short form for the currency. If buying stuff one would call it a dollar.

Depends. PVE I dont care, i just listen to anything. During PVP generally fast pasted stuff, but usaly i listen to the game music cause with my own music i tend to not pay attention as much. With instances though, i usually play FF music, and have it on a list so i can switch the song to something that fits the mood.

:? I like how all the Americans are whining about their rights being taken away by this. I haven't even heard what the Mexicans think, and us Canadians... I don't think anyone even knows. My point is, as long as its mostly currency that is going to be the same, and the countries are still respectively separate (As in we are not becoming the 51'st and 52nd state) I'm mostly for it. As long as we keep our crime rate as low as ever, and no one gets "the right to bear arms", then im fine.

:shock: I've been looking and looking and did they not include any software developing companies on their own? Or was it only the main console companies. I thought square enix had something planned :(

Obviously some bugs I have killed, but even them I try to let them live by taking them outside. In my time on earth, I don't really take what was given to me from others (intelligent or otherwise) unless needed (food).

Ive been wondering this too. If its the one night stand that everyone has been talking about, well i don't support that as much (Its not something id advise, but I wouldn't hate the person if i knew they did it). Now if it's two people who have been together for about 3-6 months (even longer is better) then ya, i think thats ok. The people know each other (i would think they would). Why not? (Sorry about terrible grammar, just got off wow and want to go to bed, im not proof reading.)

Seems like you've never worked in a fast food place. I like working at Timmy Hos, but when it's busy, you might not have a second to think for a hour. And that's in the middle of the day on a weekday. When I get home, I'm completely exhausted, and I haven't sat down the entire time. It's not the slackers job you think it is. Ya, I'm a cook in a restaurant (not fast food, not mega fancy, but it's a faily nice sit-down pizza restaurant), and when it's dinner time, it's hell. No time to breathe, and if you make a mistake on a single pizza, you're screwed. Eel, have you ever worked in fast food, or any kind of food service :-s ? It's not exactly proper to make assumptions about something you know little about. Ya, I work for Wendy's, and let me tell you, the way we have been busy latly, i swear people just phone each other up and say "Hey lets go over to wendy's, i doubt there busy, call all your friends!". I swear it feels that way because we cant keep up half the time with our lineups now, and even with two cashiers, and two people helping, its still hard when you have a family order TO GO (seriously, we get the whole family come in and order, and then say they want it to go, so we waste time packing.) I'm also gonna say, Ive seen some pretty stupid people come through before. I'll give you all a tip: Read the menu. Half the people dont. And I still get people asking me for McNuggets and Happy meals (I WORK AT WENDY'S). [/hide] my brother hates that too but he works at arby's and he says most of the people that like 80% of the people that come are fat that orders pretty much the meatiest thing to go so they hve to prepare that fast Personally, i think the companies should stop giving options like doubles and triples. People are getting to obese and there are too many heart problems these days. If the fast food companies just stopped offering the extra stuff, then we wouldn't have this big of a problem. @the guy who pays for a 5.25 meal with 11.25: I would just give you the dollar back and ten ring it in and give you the 5 dollars change. Seriously, count the amount im giving you. Also bugs me when a person comes in with a pocket full of change and has to pay using that change. Ive had a person give me 2$ in pennys! After that my boss said that more then 30 cents in pennys have to be given in a roll.
