Saying its technology's fault, is like saying its the mod's or admin's fault for what we post , and what rules we break. Its not! Sure they own this forums, but we are here, we are people, and we are posting. People chose to use technology in anyway they want. Therefore this means it is people's fault, not the technology. Humans are weak minded, accept it. No need to change anything in the world, only humans need change.

I smell Some xenophobes around here.... Anyways, We cant fear technology. We created it, we can destroy it, we own it! Its the same old thing, guns dont kill people, people kill people. Guns just let other people kill people faster.

Just bought supreme commander from Wallmart. Looks like a good game, and i havent played RTS' in a long time. The requirements are really high though :shock: . My come can handle it though.

:o I want to play RTS games with you guys! I remember my days of Starcraft, having 3 hour long battles on the internet ^.^ I have the expansion but i cant find the normal game :cry: If anyone ever wants to start playing some kind of RTS, just tell me. Dawn of war any good?

Good suggestions guys. Can anyone suggest any console games? These look like all good games, but i dont want to dish out 40-60$ to buy one, then find out i dont like it. consoles i can rent.

Ok, well like other Canadian kids, I am on march break, ergo i get the next 10 days off school, and will relax! Im feeling in a... gamey mood. Id like someone to recommend some games to me that i can try out during my break. Dunno, you might get me into a new series. Ill tell you one thing though, i refuse to play games that are fighting (i.e. Mortal kombat) or sports, or racing. Other then that, go nuts! Also, to keep this thread valid, anyone else can ask for recommendations as well.

The concept of this game is awesome, and id really like to get into the series, but i found Ghost Recon to be a horrible game. They are extremely too realistic. My guys were dieing within like 3 shots. Ive never experienced a game that takes advantage of real tactics in such a way before. Because of this though, it took me close to 1.5 hours to complete the first level because i had to sneak through. I ended up using my sniper more then anything because each time i went into a clearing, there was about 2 other snipers waiting for me.

I'm Fine with America, and i live almost right near the boarder (Im in Canada). There are places in The USA i wouldn't live, just because of the laws, but in many cases, its alot like Canada, just some small differences. The thing that bugs me most, is when i mention im Canadian anywhere, and i get Americans who say "You are Canadian eh? Well watch out, you are gonna be our 51st state!". Actually we worry about it alot up here, because we have more natural water then American, and when they get thirsty, and we cant share.... what are they gonna do?

^^^ Similar story to yours. back when i was playing RS, I met this girl one day while i was still about lve 70. She was just cutting logs out in the middle of no where. I asked "are you a bot?". It took her a long time to reply, at which time i was about to hit the report button. She answered "Whats a bot". I laughed so hard. We stood around and talked for awhile, then departed, adding each other to the friends list. I had never actually kept a RS friend before, dismissing most as noobish people. About two days later, i go on RS, and she is talking to me. It was kinda annoying at first, seeing as i was questing. But i ended up talking back, and after along time we exchanged names, and it was good. We ended up talking in game for about 5 months, and eventually got onto msn, and talked there. Ive known her for about 3 years now. Do to complications though I have not been able to talk to her for the past few months. Its really driving me insane because she was one of the only constants in my life, and without her ive been really unhappy. im hoping soon she can get a computer again. Other then that, my only link to her is if she uses msn on her mobile, which she rarely does :cry:

Repairing it would of coasted the same amount as a new one at the time (Like 400$), so we never bothered getting it fixed or buying a new one. I want a 360 and a wii though.

Ive had my passport for about 2 months now. I payed for the trip, it cost me $2825 Canadian. Don't ask how they arranged it, they just did :P Not all the schools are going on the same trip though. Some are going to spain before paris, some going to london, ect. We just happen to get Rome. (Which i love!) But an average plane can only hold 300 persons right? That's ambitious, but would still take days to fly all those students, and then take into consideration other travelers. The kids at your school must also have a lot of money as well to afford that. >.< I dont think you understand. This is all across Canada. There is more then one aircraft we have her (we aren't that well fair). All schools are going at different times (Well except schools in the same area. My school is going in the same plane as the kids from the rest of the city, plus some kids from Toronto.) Also, Im probably one of the few paying for the whole trip myself. Parents are paying for most kids.

Alright. Well im Canadian, never left the country, and going to the anniversary of one of the biggest battles fought in WWI. This was of course the battle of Vimy ridge. In this battle, 3500 Canadian troops(IICRC) fought and gained a crucial position that neither the British nor the French could gain. This battle lasted about eight days (Again, been a year since my history class, i forget exact numbers). The battle was fought by and directed by only Canadian troops. Well in about 28 days, im heading over to Europe with my school (and with the other 3500 students going) and we will first land in Rome. After a few days we are heading over to Paris. On one April 9th, there will be ceremony at Vimy Ridge in remembrance of the soldiers that fought and gave their lives. Now the explanation aside, Im gonna ask everyone here.... Is there any tips for traveling to Europe that i should know? Any crucial information that will help me interact with the locals and such? (Keep in mind i only know a minimal amount of French and no Italian....). I hear that Putting a Canadian flag on my backpack is a good idea. Is it? Thanks for the tips everyone.

The reason things become tabooed is because society decides something is bad then puts a ban on it. There is nothing bad about swear words. When was the last time that you saw someone get killed (literally) by a swear word? Never, thought so. People in the past have given something a bad name, thus causing it be viewed as bad. Now realizing this, if society took a look at this kind of thing, and realized no bad can come of swears, then we could decide as a whole that it means nothing. Making it bad only gives it power. Once we make something good, it has no power. *cough* this applys *cough* to the Circumcision topic *cough*

If you are American, play a PvP server. Trust me, its boring as hell on a PvE server (Although you can get a headache at times). Come play on Burning blade, we generally have a good community and good pvp.
