  1. Violence is the most easily understood answer among teenagers. Kick 'em in the nuts. :-s I'd like to see your strategy of attack when killing trolls in DND.... "I use my holy nut cracker to destroy the troll!" *Kicks troll in the nuts*
  2. [hide] Because positive stuff gets boring :P But anyway - why I like it here in TO: health care (no complaints). decent roads. never heard of 'flooding' here ever. there's not a lot of extreme weather. it's cold.. but it's getting warmer. i think a lot of states in the US had colder weather than TO this winter (i think i can count with my hands the times i remember it snowing). haha. the worst snowfall we've had was the one that happened a couple of days ago. and it wasnt even considered a snow day >< damn those snowplows that do their job! - and i think i read somewhere where we're immune (or less likely) from typhoons and stuff i can jog around the park at 10 at night without worrying about getting mugged decent schools. i know some people in the US that gets surprised when they hear about courses that are offered here (take my comp. networking course for example) and we HAVE the world's greatest army to protect us. Would you ever think for a minute that the US would allow Canada to be invaded? Never :P canadian dollar getting stronger we have the same timeframe as the US in terms of showing (tv shows & movies) usually [so practically, we have the same advantage as the US except we don't have their crappy international rep and have a bit of advantage because of it - hah] [/hide] QFT. I think Canada is basically the ultimate place to live for the most part. I dont know much about other places in the world so i dont know why i wouldnt want to live anywhere else really. Id just say anyplace around the equator just because its too hot for me.
  3. Wow, its weird, there is so much really that can attract me, and im not talking about the non G-rated parts of a female. For example, skin tone is such a simple thing, but matters for some reason to me. The fairer skinned a girl is, the more attractive they seem to be to me. The biggest thing though would probably be a girls smile. I know its not part of them, but if a girl has a beautiful smile, it generally tells me about their personality. I can tell from a person's mouth if they are a crabby person or not. I guess the least attractive things would be feet and hands... just cant stand feet, and i don't really like long nails for some reason. I REALLY DETEST FAKE NAILS, THEY LOOK UGLY.

There is no set amount, it matters on each person's body. I would say its alot though, and matters where. Just on your face wont affect you, since fainting is just the lack of oxygen to the brain, which that shouldn't of affected.
  5. Im the only Arkheart 8-) Very original i guess.
  6. My dad is a huge problem solver, so even if he didnt know something, he would teach himself. He did take computer classes about 14 years ago, so he learned alot of the older stuff, but still can apply it to the new stuff. I cant even figure out how to reformat windows 95 and 98 before, but he knew. My mom isnt as good of a problem solver, but still experiments and finds out things on her own. Everyone in my family has a different level of expertise.
  7. Everyone got the game for the halo 3 beta :P
  8. :o This can be TIFCon! we shall all meet at the boarder and then attack a nightfall. Once we gain control of the country, we shall hold a meeting That is before NATO comes....
  9. 90g all together. what are you respecing at 40 for anyways, anything specific? Respec only takes 1g for the first time so it isn't a big deal. I Already did it once. I had things allover the place. Ever since, i've been doing alot more damage.
  10. Ok, i see what you mean, but i wont respec till 40. How much is it to get a mount and the mount license?
  11. :S i still don't understand whats bad about the 5% more mana through the enhancement talents i have. Right now, that gives me about 82 more mana, which can be put towards like 1 extra spell. Which could make the difference in a BG. Maybe when i hit 40, ill respec and put that 5 towards elemental or healing, but not for now.
  12. Muhahahahha, everyone look at my crappy gear! Arkheart Anyone else finding it annoying how people on the WoW forums are complaining about this feature, when they signed an agreement stating they dont own their characters? Weird.
  13. :? This kind stuff happens all the time, and as long as people are power hungry, they will abuse it. Now ill mention something here.... It was extremely hard to follow what you wrote(Except for the last part, you were talking in first person). Besides that, this is something you need to bring up with teachers at your school not here (even though your school system sounds a bit weird...). Attempt to actually solve the problem if it is bugging you. We cannot solve it for you. As for the school thing with your mom, I know Canada has a law that means all kids have a right to an education, dunno if you have that there. If your mom refuses to send you to a co-ed school, why not just go to the public school? Its co-ed, and you still get education. Your mom shouldn't be able to stop you from going to a public school.
  14. Ya, as usual, blizzard released something buggy again. Probably didn't test it on all browsers to #-o #-o Oh well, maybe it will be fixed soon.
  15. obviously you haven't been on the internet long enough if you dont know what those mean...Ive never even seen them before, and i can tell you what they mean. Lol oh my god owned What the fudge hacks !
  16. Lol on the computer now means something is mere funny, and takes the place of a meaning, not a physical thing. I think its a good thing to have because it allows people to know the feeling of others. It would be nice to have something for sarcasm, but seems the only thing we have is [/sarcasm]. there is nothing wrong with having short terms, just as long as people understand them. I think most people that complain about short terms are the older people who don't understand what they mean. They then take the ideology "If i don't know it, it must be evil!". If people actually took the time to learn such things, then it wouldn't be a problem. As for real life? I would only consider certain things acceptable. I do say BRB a lot, and its just because im used to it. I also think it sounds cool, no matter what someone else says. Saying lol though is not a cool thing though. Lol represents a feeling or laughter, and should be kept for where people don't understand it. IRL, people can show their emotions, and should use that ability.

  18. yes, what you posted is completely relevant. But If you think about it, if we are able to filter out everything, and see that one thing in everything, wouldn't that be a potentially great ability if applied to anything? Studying, Medical researching, engineering, any kind of problem solving really.... To find something, do we really need to... want it in some way? No, because that's being close-minded, and that gets you know here. But if you think about it, being open minded isn't good either. Do you think it would be good to be open minded about Hitler's ideas? Should i accept his ideas and implement them with my own? No. There is a point where us humans must be close minded, or else we face corruption. This is a big problem, people become so open minded, they get the ideology "Try everything to live life". Although its not a literal meaning, if you must accept every view, then you are doomed to be consumed by someones view eventually.

  20. So that i hope you all dont miss my point and not think this is about the movie, ill ask a question... Viktor, have you ever had thoughts of what your obsession with Europe, and those countries could do? Have you ever thought of how it affects your personality, your style, how you think?

I know there is a video thread, but this video has a purpose. The movie Is based around the main characters obsession about this number, this one small insignificant thing. Now i know it's just a movie and everything, but from this short clip, i was able to get a theme, which i have worked out to be: This made me think a bit... As obvious with the trailer, Jim Carrey's Character was lead to thoughts of murder and such. This is such a big thing, over such a little thing. But what happens with us, when we have obsessions in the real world. Maybe they do not affect us on this level (thoughts of murder)Or maybe they do but perhaps our obsession give way to life changes that we do not even realize. By this, we would assume that people do not just changed through the influence of people, but also the influence of personal interests. Interests are not just brought about by influence of other people, but also by a person's self interests (i.e their personality). The point of all this? All these years that people say that our environment and the people that influence us are what makes, us may not be true. Another point I would like to make is that perhaps we should take a step back, and look at the things we like, and perhaps wonder "How will this affect me?"
  22. I might follow suit Nadril. I only have a bit to save up for My Europe trip, then i have tons of money left afterwards. Im confused as to what to buy.... Laptop, 360, or wii.... hmmmmm
  23. The reason we can care for a pet fish but not care about a random fish we eat, is because of our social attachments to our pets. We build a 'Relationship' with them, therefore causing us to become attached. Some random fish though, is not attached to use, ergo, we eat it. And i don't understand how animal rights beliefs have anything to do with being a vegetarian. It is nature to eat animals, as animals eat animals, and we are an animal.
  24. Life may be initially meaningless, but we give it meaning through our actions and inactions. you seem to be describing all the 'Evils' of society, which is fine. they do exist. But i hope you realize there is good. Meeting new people, building relationships, enjoying entertainment, feeling good sensations (Interpret this how you like), Feeling successful, positive thinking. These are all things in the world which are good. The problem is, they seem like such small things. How can positive thinking be such a good thing? I causes others to be positive, and happy. How can building relationships and meeting new people be good? Social interaction is a human, need, and fulfilling it makes yourself and another person happy. Sure sometimes people feel like they are invincible, but thats their own fault. Although its good to know that anything can happen at any time, being happy is also a good thing. People need to find that happy balance in their life, between know about bad, and knowing about good so that they can acheive a happy, meaningful life. To sum that all up, being happy and living is the reason to live.
  25. >.> some of us have math and physics home work every night stopping us from playing... im still only 29. March break is just around the corner though.
