  1. Have you ever played FFVI (Referring to Final Fantasy names in roman numerals is the only cool way)? It is possible the best one, but everyone fails to realize it, because of the graphics :( Anyways, has anyone beaten the game? and how long did it take you (In game hours that is).
  2. Smart car. I know its not on your list, but they are the coolest cars ever :D
  3. I think, that religion should be shared by those that have the same belief, and not brought unto others lives. This would in fact better everyone, as we would stop the arguing over who is right and wrong, and focus on one thing, we are all people. Why should there be so much petty squabbling int he world over such a thing as belief when there are much worse problems at hand. We should use our beliefs as motivation to get what we need done, instead of motivation for putting down or destroying others beliefs. And about evolution. Evolution and religion do not go side by side. There is undeniable proof that evolution does it exist. It exists every day, in us, in others. But, in evolution, does that have anything to do with beliefs in a greater being or what not. Evolution is the study of how life comes to be, and how it changes, not that "God does not exists". It shames me to see any religious person believing that evolution hurts their religion, showing their ignorance. It is also ignorant of anyone attempting to use evolution as a weapon, a proof that "god" does not exist. Get your facts straight before saying anything. And yes, some people are treated unfairly for their beliefs.
  4. A light spanking perhaps, but if your gonna take your anger out on a kid, thats just a no no.
  5. Ok ill help you. Step one: take the time to at least spell a little better. You aren't in the hood. Step Two: there is a wonderful tool called the world wide web. In this web we have something called Google, with which we search out the simple things we need. HTML is a type of coding used, so you wanna look up something like "HTML tutorial."

Ok, im having a bit of a problem. Im trying to go through and see what I want to spec in for WoW (Im a shaman). Now when i was horde, i found a lot of people liked shamans as healers, but now it seems that role is played down a lot on the alliance side. would it be better for me to spec more in elemental and a lot less in healing? Also, discuss good specing strategies. http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/shaman/talents.html?5520315320021500105150200000000000000000045004000000000000000 I was thinking of doing that. I wouldn't heal very well, but id be a damage machine.
  7. I played a Bit of number 2. Then again, the game didn't work very well, and would stop playing after an hour, so i never cared for the story line part. The running around and shooting people was still basically the same level of fun as 3 and vice city though :D
  8. we learned about the method in biology class, and its extreamly safe, so im all for it. Lets just hope people don't protest at the fact we will need more water processing plants.
  9. I completely love it, its brilliant really. The whole fact that they steered away from making it from one point of view, to many, so that other characters can have their own say, instead of FFX, where tidus was the only one stating how thoughts and emotions. The battle system was also a large improvement, as i love how its a lot more free. The addition of a more political story also made it nice too. The only thing i think that is lacking, is the music. Past FF games were much better. One of the starting songs was even in FF IV, which is extreamly old, and was just re done. Not very epic tunes so far. Im only just over half way done, so no spoilers plz.
  10. I guess OT to the title, but it seems just over the past 4 years or so, Mom jokes found their way to Canada. Everyone says them now. Basically they are used to see who can burn the other person the best.
  11. I can admit that for a java based game, its awesome for graphics, but it lacks too much in the game play/story department for myself. In the 5 years that i did play it before switching to WoW, i had members for about 3. And even with that, ive never actually found any real story line that fits in the whole game. Like with WoW, at least there is the "Alliance vs. Horde vs. Burning legion" thing going on, but in RS, it seems to just exist for the hell of it. Not to mention the grinding for Rs can be a little boring at times...
  12. Hence we use my idea, and put them to work....
  13. 1 second please say you were being sarcastic that only applies for gta 3 the others are graphic dominated I just finished playing about an hours worth of GTA SA, and i would have to say that those graphics are pretty crappy, but the game play is extremely sweet, which is what makes me play.
  14. Sky scrapper jails perhaps? Could work, but my main point is that we shouldn't kill people, its a waste of a life, and a waste of a productive person of society. If we have killers or such, we should put them to work for the rest of their lives. They get food, water, and a place to sleep, in return, they work for the rest of their days (Till their too old of course). This way we don't have people dying uselessly, and instead, can perhaps remake that money back we spend to keep them all.
  15. I am an Atheist, but the main kinds of religions that are interesting to me would probably be any pagan type religions. Stuff dealing more with spirits, souls, magic, and maybe multi gods/ controlling spirits.
  16. Pfffft, ive had my "wiis" since birth :P Best ending eh? Hard to say..... *Thinks real hard and deep* FF IX had one of the best endings ive ever seen in my life, its a cliffhanger, yet it answers the cliff hanger (As long as your man enough to sit through all the credits). I actually found the FF VII: DC Ending to be very touching (Not the special ending). Kingdom hearts I (As i have not beaten two yet) Was also a very happy ending. The fact that two was already out when i beat it kinda made me know its not sad, but non the less... While we are on topic of endings, id like to mention the worst ending to a video game ever. Halo2. I love the game and everything, but that ending was just pitiful. It was basically "Hey, thanks for buying this to tide over till halo 3, now wait around for like 2 years just to conclude the story"
  17. Im going to look at two contradictions here. WoW and RS are both MMORPGs. Both games do the exact same thing, and require hours of game play, and hard work. Both games could turn anyone into a "Fat nerd". Its all about will power too. (Plus you call both games addicting, yet you put one on your hated list) Both FF games and GTA games are essentially RPGs. I dont see how you can possibly call FF games childish, when they have some of the best themes in the game business, and not to mention revolutionized the who gaming industry. The characters are well though out too, and each tend to have a story of their own. What does GTA have? Gangsters that just run around shooting things up to compleat objectives. (Dont get me wrong, I like GTA, but generally just for the fooling around factor.)
  18. You would be surprised. I have some friends at school who will not play any system that has graphics worse then the ps2's, and if i try talking about new games to them, the first question asked : What are the graphics like? When i respond with "I dunno, i guess they are good, ive seen better. does it matter though?" most of the time they say "Err if it doesn't have good graphics, im not playing."
  19. Many people have multi characters on different servers that are 60 and what not (Even if the cap is 70 now, why cant people just make new characters?
  20. Hmm, i guess my rating would be: Gameplay Story sound Controls Graphics But still, i can eat the bread by itself, and its fine, the butter is just there to add a little extra.
  21. So we got our graphics, and we got our game play. These days it seems to be about the former. With next generations being just released, we are put into a world that is starting to almost become realistic (Almost, not quit). But the thing is, do these upgraded graphics really bring us anything? Take the ps3 for instance. Sure it has some of the best graphics of all time, but what is really there? Any good games that help motivate players to play? Or are game companies expecting that the look itself will reel in the big bucks? I myself find thinking that the later is what entices me to play a game. Take for example Kingdom hearts. Sure it does have good graphics and what not, but thats not the point. The battle system is the best way of fighting in an RPG that ive ever seen. Sure i love the old ATB system the FF series has (X and XII being the exceptions), but the upgrade in the way i can play is what has drawn me in. I attempt to still play some of the old FF's, but the old game play is what I have problems with now, not he degrade in graphics (8 and 16 bit FTW!) Just so others dont say "Oh he is using Square enix products again", ill use another genre. I know not everyone likes Halo games, but the difference in game play between Halo 1 and Halo 2 is astounding. When i play 1 now, i have problems dodging fire and aiming my weapon. Why? Because the game play has been sped up from 1 to 2. Sure when i did see the trailer for Halo 2 i was like "Omg, Epic game!!!!", but when i saw the trailer, something else caught my eye that made me want to play more. The simple questions addressing the continuation of the story line are what drove me home, and made me want to play. So, enough of me, which side do you chose, and why?

Yup still have it. My parents got the 'green' Donkey kong special edition one, and we still have it to this very day. We had: -Donkey kong 64 -Zelda: Majoras mask (Never actually 'owned" OoC, but i borwed it and completed it 2 times) -007 (The first one, I remember my best friend would play this all the time when he was over, and when he finally got a N64, completely owned at it. Pity, Xbox just came out then :P) -Perfect dark (The only FPS i was ever 'leet' at) -Banjoo Kazooi (Mostly my mom played it) -Star wars pod racing -Pokemon stadium (I begged my parents to get me this one) Thats all i can remember for now, but man, those were some of the best game years of my life. Plus best party system. Ever.

The only ps1 games i have are all the FF games made for ps1 (Maybe missing 1 or 2 of them, dunno). I was more into N64 when the ps1 was popular, so i didnt bother ever getting one. I just got a ps2 later for the games i wanted, and then figured out i could play FF games from ps1 on it, and bought some used.
  24. 1. What is the goriest game you have ever played, why? The goriest game ive ever played was probably Soldir of Fortune: Double Helix. In the game, you could actually shoot out peoples body parts (i.e. shooting their neack blows their head right off, the elbow blows the arm right off.). The blood could actually be seen splattering. 2. What was your first gory game, how old were you The first gory game i played was Duke Nukem 3D. Tons of dead pig cop corpses, along with the trapped naked chicks ;) Age 4. 3. What do you think when you experience gore in a video game Generaly I ignore gore and blood and the such. Im there for the story line and game play, not for graphics and the specifics of the violence. 4. Do you shy away from gory games? I dont "Shy away" more as, i just dont like most gory, as most have no good plot line and game play. The same crap, different pile. And as i said, i dont care if a game has gore is violent. 5. Have you ever stopped playing a game due to its gory content? No 6. In general do you find gory video games better han non gory ones Most games i play dont have gore, so most of the time, less gore=better game play.
  25. Think about it though, it will cost you 25$ just to move your character to another server, which isnt a good idea seeing as ive heard the moving thing doesnt work too well.
