I would disagree with this. Stuff like SS is secure, or otherwise so many people wouldn't use it.

Lumby is closer I believe, but the fires can be inconsistant and require a few more clicks. Al-Karid is just a bit shorter and less clicks.

I must concur. I have heard from multiple experienced players that this is the best location, although it is very boring at times. I switched back to Draynor because the lack of conversation and randoms annoyed me to death.

It was nerfed shortly after they nerfed Charge, further making rich players looking you 99 mage mad. I remember 3 Hit U ranting that they kept nerfing his strategies right after he bought he materials.

Steel Bars -> Cannon balls. Buy @ 550-600 ea and sell for 160-200 ea. Iron Bars -> Iron Knives. Buy @ 200-250 ea and sell for ~40 ea.

It would take ~22k Curses. Bodys @ 7 ea and Waters at 15 ea for a total of 814k. It would be boring but about ~1.27 gp / xp which is not bad at all.

I find it odd that although F2P'ers can have Pure Ess, that monster that would normally drop Pure Ess drop normal Ess.

If yours is truely half and half, then yes. I find it more to be 60-40, T-S. But since I assume your estimating, then most likely yes.

I only mine at about 3 in the morning, US time. And still, there's always someone, always, always someone who is too arrogant to share. I would hardly call it arrogance. On their part anyway. That person is training, and they no doubt had to train hard to get to where they are (mining is brutal training, as far as I'm concerned, at higher levels). With each new level, it's going to take even more work for them to level up. To go from 75 to 76 mining will require almost 3.2K iron ore mined. Even under the best of conditions, this could take about 3 hours of powermining. And you want these people to make that 5-6 hours? Just so lower-levels can spend 10 seconds on an iron rock for one iron ore? You seem far more arrogant than the higher level miner, expecting everyone to slow down their training to accomodate your impatience. Mining is uber-competitive. The sooner you reconcile yourself to that fact, and go mine Rune Essence until level 41 or so (and your Rune Pickaxe), the better off you'll be. I have a second account, and he mines Rune Essence. Slowly, grudgingly, but it's the way to go. I totally agree with you, 100%. I have 66 mining, although it's rather low, mining is so slow to train on F2P, with or without runners. When someone else comes to mine with me, I continue to mine, and almost always beat them to every rock. Any experienced miner with tell you that once you get 55+, you one-hit iron every time. Why then, should I let you get iron simply because you are a slower clicker? Obviously, it's not my fault because the other person can't click as fast as me. In my opinion, mining is pwoering iron is actually based on skill, not on dumb luck. I'm sorry to say, I have no sympathy for you.

For banking it's Varrock East, with two rocks on a full server you almost never stop. For powering it's Al Karid.

Buying leather is fast, but expensive. The same goes for gems. D-hides are also fast, and mostly for a large loss.
