You should still be able to recover it with other information... >_> They do ask for security questions + previous passwords. Key point in all of this: It's all down to the user to be responsible fully for the security of their account(s). We and Jagex have told people constantly not to use the same password for RuneScape and fansites. Yeah but on that screen you have 1 of 3 options. Either you forgot your password, someone has changed your password, or someone knows your recovery questions. What am I supposed to fill out? I have absolutely no clue since none of those is true.

How did they actually get our account names to lock them? They just went through the members list? I am having the same problems that a couple of people are having. I send in all of the information I know except the card verification information, because I have already deleted that from my e-mail a long time ago. I always get the same reply, that I haven't given enough information. I have to be honest... I don't want to lose my account after 2 years because people running Tip.it couldn't keep it secure. Don't get me wrong...I am happy they took the time to close accounts so that noone lost anything..but if we can't get it back because of minute details...

I'm thinking a good Seer's Bank drop is in order. Buy alot of random things, like rune items, dragon weapons and so on and just go to a world, probably world 9, and then just start dropping things.
