Same...but they have to actually die first. I'm not gonna sit around as their hp dwindles. However, if they actually die as I pass them or whatever then i'll take their stuff. I'd expect people to do the same for me. Also, if they are a friend or kq partner or something, then i'll give their stuff back. (Obviously :roll: )

You people don't understand this at all. You are either the strong, or the weak. The weak can either die or get the hell out of the wild. The strong however, can do ANYTHING they want within Jagex rules. I personally don't pk Runecrafters but I think they DESERVE to be pk'ed. Think about this for a second...You live in New York and a strange man enters your house. You have the right, to protect yourself and your property from the intruder. If a deer enters a lions den, the lion will kill and eat it. If you think pk'ers should leave you alone then you should runecraft normally. Jagex put the abyss in there for a reason. I can hold my own against pk'ers at the mage bank but I don't want to have to bother. I will take their food because they did not properly protetc themself from me. I was a potential threat and they should've seen me. Lets just say your training agility...now, if this course gives 2k exp per trip and is extremely fast exp...then OF COURSE you would be there! You HATE doing things the long way. (Take the longer, safe path...or the shorter, much dangerous path.) If there happened to be black dragons all along the course, you would surely bring prayer potions, sharks, and an anti-fire shield. Why is it then, that you don't protect yourself from pk'ers? Let's just face it. If it's not against the rules...people will do it. Ranting on a non-official Runescape fan site forum won't change that.

Whip is strong but I don't think overpowered: Arguments could be made for dharocks as well for strength training, and as the whip's main strength is against monsters it's quite easy to prevent it from being overpowered simply through the introduction of bigger stronger monsters... Against the kq it is way better, and it owns like....All pvp. You can use the full set for ownage in fight pits, duel arena. full set with a whip and obby shield for melee in the wild. (Torag may be chosen though...cheaper) also, you can hybrid with it using a bow and it's magic def is excatly 0 Against monsters it does ok. It really depends on what you're fighting. It won't hit higher than a whip, but on monsters with platemail it will hit more often.

I find that very hard to beleive. For several reasons: 1-Ancient Magicks can hit nowhere near 89 2-As the above person stated, your Magic level is 74. 3-The highest damage by a player with a weapon is 89, which is with Dharok's Greataxe, Strength boosted, hit points at 1 and other stat bonuses --not ancient magicks. 4-89 can look like 39, and even then, I don't think Ancient Magicks can even hit 39. 1. Ancients max at 30 damage. 2. Who cares? 3. Wrong. Max hit on an npc is 101. Max hit on a player is 93. Full Dharok. Beserker ring. Salve ammy or ammy of strength. Fire cape. Barrows gloves. Climbing boots. Dragon baxe special. Burst of strength. Max hp is 99 which is lowered to 1. This enables you to hit extremely high. 4. That's true. I've seen some pretty convincing fakes.

nearly everyone in Castle Wars are n00bs. I would do the quest "fishing contest so you can get past white wolf mountain. If he has high enough combat then he should do the quests "Tree Gnome Village" and "Grand Tree" That way he has access to spirit trees and gnome gliders. Then he should check out CastleWars or the Duel arena. ______________________________ I stopped going to CastleWars for like 4 months. There is NO strategy to the game. All you do is enter the game watch like 50 other players run around like chickens with their heads cut off. You can't organize anything with anyone because they easily lose interest. Plus, no full barrows alowed. No fire cape allowed. You can't range or mage from the towers in the middle of the arena. The score gets to one and someone gets their own teams flag. Final score= one. Overall- Fight pits owns castlewars.

Not just the start. Many people die at the start when they get one hit while looking for him. Many others just die because they get their timing off or they just freeze. a whole bunch of people die because the healers appear and that messes them up.

who said killing dragons in any manner was bug abuse? I overlooked it I guess. Only thing I saw was his analogy to dragon and wyverns. The problem with this analogy is that dragons and wyverns are completely different creatures. Anybody can fight a dragon, no slayer level or specific items are said to be REQUIRED to do so. Dragonfire shields are only a strong suggestion... and only necessary if you intend to fight dragons for a long period of time. (I'd love to see how many iron dragons you kill without an antifire shield) Some slayer monsters, UNLIKE dragons, have REQUIRED items in order to fight or kill them. Obviously the shield is meant to be required if it is on the list, so I don't see how this thread is any different than the people complaining when Jagex fixed the guthix rest bug while they were solo-ing the KQ with it. If the shield is on the required items list, you should've been playing as if the bug didn't exist. Not completely true at all. First of all...I already adressed this...but I guess I have to say it again. If the Wyvern would happen to not use any ice breath, you could easily kill it. Regardless as to if you were wearing a shield or not. However, without the proper equipment for other monsters, you cannot kill them. Or, in most cases, you cannot even damage them. So many people are losing the meaning of this post. I'm not saying it SHOULDNT be this way, I'm saying they should give us a heads up on these sorts of updates. I also wish that 90% of the people would bother reading the entire thread before posting. Come on, its not even 5 pages yet... This would be like them all of a sudden making protection prayers completely useless at Barrows and saying it was a "bug" in the first place that you could use prayer. I saw what type of damage the ice attack used, and I used the appropriate protection prayer for it, how in the world is THAT bug abuse? Thats like saying using a magic prayer at any dragons is bug abuse...or prayer switching on JAd is bug abuse. Bottom line, I didn't think it was a bug, they didn't make an announcement that they changed it, and I died. All I'm saying is that they need to make more public bug announcements, especially those that can potentially kill someone. Also, I've never had to report a bug before, so I had no clue about that screen that listed all the known bugs. WHen did they announce this? How are we supposed to know about it if we've never found a bug before? I guess I'll start checking this screen more frequently...but it's such a stupid inconvenience. Actually, i'm sure no one would have issues with this if they followed the slayer guide and wore an elemental shield. I'm sure that it was a painful death, but people have more tragic deaths. :? We don't need warning from you because even the "slowest" players bring elemental shields down there because everyone knows they beat the stuffing out of you without it. Sorry for flaming.

Silverlight kinda blows. Darklight is pretty Ricky Martin sweet looking. Any Majolnir, granite maul, torag hammers, bone spear. Worst looking weapon I think is the silverlight. -Dragon 2h looks ugly too

I'm pretty sure it was always a magic based long-range attack. In other news, there's another bug with range. If you click "attack" on a player and you are out of range to shoot at them...rather than run up close enough to fire, you just stand there.

I made a string of screencaps from the castlewars event. Of course there was much mourning over the loss of Shiva, the friend of many. In all the games were fair. There was little foul play involved. Both teams won several times. Unfortunatly Leesters was not there for me to slap around :D So I picked off some of the ancient mages. Please post any pictures of the event or post freely or whatever you want. :wink:
