That resolution is no where was bad as people are stating. I've got a laptop with pretty much the same res and the same size screen, in fact every laptop I deal with at work which is 15.4 has pretty much the same resolution. You'll seriously have a hard time finding a higher resolution for a 15.4 screen without your spending atleast 100 more.

About 1 in 15k last time I heard there drop rate mentioned. EDIT: could have been as low as 7.5k

I think you've got about the best setup for the money then (I'd try veracs skirt instead of dhide just as a test though). Theres only minor improvements at large costs left. The only tip I've seen thrown around is to have the melee guy between you and kree so that when you pot you have time to avoid any melee attacks from kree.

Veracs helm is slightly better (3+ prayer bonus and 1 less magic negative). If your getting hit more then you'd like or your not hitting enough you could always try replacing either the boots or the legs with snake/ranger and veracs. I'm not going to lie I have very little idea on arma GWD as I've never tried it.

Did you talk to the Oracle first?

Get a high magic level as members have a lot more distance to travel. Amass about 100k or so (train on cows and bank all the drops using the deposit box) as it will really help with traveling around (rings, necklaces and so on).

Wow very nice. On the rex side of things use CoG its far faster kills = faster drops. I had a 5 trip dry streak over the last 2 weeks then I got lucky as hell the last 3 trips (d axe, d axe + warrior then d axe + 2 zerkers [all in less then 700 casts]).

? The only one which you really unlock is Warped terrorbirds (the rest are pretty easy without I'm overlooking some). There not too bad at all if you know what your doing. Just wear melee gear and the moment one starts ranging you flick on protect from range, then 2 seconds later turn it off. As they will either safespot themselves or come into melee range (I cycle 2 birds using this as it allows me to always have 1 lined up for the next kill). 5 monkfish and a bunyip is more then enough for there melee damage (best to bank twice during a task as they're easy to get to and drop a lot of decent things). I did a task of 130/140 in about 1 hour with my questionable stats and made over 300k from the drops (2 rune shields, 2 rune warhammers and a lot of bolts, runes, feathers, tar and tips). My only issue with them is there lack of charms otherwise they would be one of the better tasks. I'd still take warped terrorbirds over black demons any day.

You can buy a rare for 50mil and then next year sell for 100mil, meaning easy profit for no effort. But with the same 50m you could buy supplies and buy some of the best combat equipment in the game. Using this it would easy to max some skills as well as make more then 50m in 12 months. 50m in a useless item is 50m you can't access nor use. Rares have always been useless in my eyes.

I just managed to find a some rough figures Mummies: At 95 Range, I was getting around 130k-140k exp/hour.<-Using greys Monkeys: At lvl 99, one can get up to 280 xp/red chin, and 360K xp/hr.-For grey chinchompas, multiply the above numbers by three quarters. So 140k vs 210k per hour. Links are in the above bold text.

Apes all the way, the mummies are horrible exp. EDIT: sorry I don't have any figures, but the gp from the drops doesn't justify the lack of exp and slower exp.

I helped create this snippet a while back. In essence run CCleaner, defrag, disable start up options then look at tweaking more. What are your full system spec (the sticky should help)?

Its all luck. I did have a run where every other task was waterfiends and they do get tiresome (nice charms but there a 2 hour task).

Remember the only true value of an item is; the high alch value, low alch value and the store value. The rest is decided by the players.

I owned it a while back when they were 2m and its an ok shield. The thing is you either like using shields or don't. Its got a nice prayer bonus and the lack of negatives make it much better for range/mage tanking compared to most alternatives. Personally I use the normal spirit shield for maging DK's (titan, SGS and guthans over heal 90% of the time so its better to get fast kills), so it would help a great deal there and anywhere else you would use a shield for ranging or maging.

The thing is you get faster kills when on task, so per hour you would be getting more rare drops even if the drop rate is the same. The rates don't change just the speed.

Just use summer pies I did it with 64 (or it could have been 63) not too long ago. Pray during the whole thing with 25+ prayer bonus and you should be fine.

On the familiar front either war t then hydra or just hydra, as it will add enough exp to justify the use.

Praying avainsies is a good choice if you have about 400k to spend as start up.

Just wear melee gear and piety (you can 10% offensive prayers, but the bones pay for the prayer pots so why not) there pretty fast as you only normally get 40 or so. Which is for me about 2 trips (maybe 1 hour in total). As for them there nice crimsons (about 1:1 as they drop 2 per set and there one of there most common charms) and there bones sell well if you choose to bank them. There said to be one of the best visage droppers and there other drops aren't too bad. There like a black dragon task without the dhides really (although there fast IMO).

I forgot to mention I tried this using a titan when I did the fight and it helped a bit, although it was awkward to get the titan into combat. This was due to me using the stone of Jas as a barrier to avoid getting into melee range I think. I can confirm it is multi-combat during both final fights (the balance elemental and the TD battle).

Its next to impossible with only 200k to start. If you have the equipment you could start with metal dragons then if you get lucky move up. Alching will lose you money 99.9% of the time.

Work out the exp per hour then the rest is just math (although F2P iron mining spots are pretty dog eat dog). I wouldn't advise do this as it will take for ever and become extremely tedious.

What weapons do you own? I find BGS to be the ultimate special weapon for bandos personally (one decent spec and the whole kill is extremely easy and you get about 1 spec every other kill).
