Cows using the deposit boxes near lumbridge mill. There extremely good money (bank all there drops) and are a lot more exp per kill then chickens.

If you glance over the barrows blog on the blogs section (its really just monster drops with barrows items) there always seems to be less helms then there are any other parts. Could just be random luck, but I always found helms to be slightly rarer then other items. Doesn't ahrim also drop your defense too? I find ahrim drops my attack/strength slightly under the normal every other run which lessens the effect of the super set.

I wish there was a melee section for sara. I tried using melee my first and second times and its pretty good if your melee heavy like I am.

It normally rises for Christmas then drops back down soon after. Then again if Jagex truly kill tricking then it could drop at any point.

I used to barrow a lot on my old account so I never really wanted to do it much on my current. Looking over your items you got extremely lucky. The helms are the rarest (if I remember rightly) part of the sets so to get 9 out of 26 items is extremely lucky. To add to this you only got 5 weapons which are about on par with legs for there rarity, being the most common parts. If we average out the costs of the items it would be an average cost of 1.317m per item you get (if the odds where all equal). So your getting 1 per about 2 hours thats pretty much half of that, so lets call it 700k Now if you add the other items its close to 1m per hour, however when you take into account runes, ammo, potions and repair costs (your using 7 degrading items) it drops below 1m per hour. All in all its a great money maker theres no doubt in that, in fact its one of the easier ones. However its extremely anti-social, your lucky if you have time to have a conversation with some there and all the movement makes PM's pretty annoying and risky to do. PS. Replace one or two of the prayer pots with super restores to remove ahrims effects (makes healing quicker and reduces damage you might get).

You can tank bandos with 82 defense you just won't last past the 3rd hour without 79+ summoning thats all.

Biggest trouble I found with bursting was finding a free would and not having some 130+ hopping to your world and trying to steal them. For that amount of exp use penguin points as well as bork before going down the costly route of bursting.

Yep looks like you guys were right there starting to rise again. It gave me an intensive to finally sell my SGS though (I love it, but 75m+ is so much). I've learnt my lesson don't believe anything you hear or see on RSOF

Make sure you take a magic defense top. Atleast with graa's ranged attack its about 50:50 if it hits the magic attack from the mini is constant without your above about 50+ magic defense.

If you let the familiar kill it you don't get the exp for the kill. Idk about getting it for a task but i know personally that you don't get exp. I had a Fire Titan finish off a Fire Giant for me and was waiting for me to get a slayer level from the kill. After the Titan killed the Giant i didn't get any slayer exp. Also with 88 summoning and the Unicorn, you could also try tanking them. But i would rather just cannon and get the task over a lot quicker. If you get 85 Herblore you could try DH'ing the steel dragons XD. I got a friend who is currently trying to test that theory. Sadly he is only 81 herblore, Are you 100% sure about that? If so I've been losing a lot, I mean a lot of exp. I'll have to test it out tonight as if its true I'm going to be extremely annoyed. O it does count as a task kill thats why I always assumed it counted as slayer exp.

ME and 2000 were both released near 2000 (1999 I think). ME was supposed to be the home version for 2000 however they just reworked the older kernel. There completely different and if you've ever used both of them you'll know why. 2000 is pretty much stripped down XP where as ME is like a horrible abortion gone wrong. We manage a fair few windows 2000 PC's still and the only trouble we have is software developers slowly moving away from 2000 (and the fact IE6 is the best MS will provide for 2000, but firefox sorts that out). From a management point of view theres a lot less the average user can toy with and the difference in 2000 to XP is minimal, so its never been worth the cost to upgrade the OS (and upgrade the PC's to cope with it) or buying new PC's. I completely forgot the support ends 2010 July though so I suppose its time to start looking into new PC's.

Not entirely true. Pre 26k'ing almost all equipment was slowly dropping, not increasing. Previously the amount of GP entering the game was always less then or equal to the sink holes (summoning, construction and magic being the big 3), so items only really ever increased in value if supply dropped massively or they were merchanted.

Setup a workgroup for the PCs then look into using .bat files to copy the files back and forth. Once your made the .bat file simply schedule a task. All of this can be done using the builtin tools windows comes with.

Nah if you pray on black demons there drops will cover the cost of prayer pots and then some. Well at least in prayer gear, I'm not 100% about the bonus you could get with dh. IMO if your going to dh them use the CT, pray and use your best combat familiar. You can switch to another and tell your familiar to finish off them if your getting them down to 10 to 15 hp within a few hits.

Correct. The trouble is its seen as free, but people either underestimate the time it takes or overestimate the advantage of the top. Its far better in the long run to gain money using a semi-decent exp method and buy bandos if you feel the need for 4+ str bonus.

Why do people always moan about the level 78 slayer monster. Sure its pretty bad, but it was one of the higher level gaps left to fill. Using the monster every 2/3 levels the gaps left were; 2/3 <- unlikely 12/13 27/28 77/78 <- dead center 87/88 92/95 97/98 <- unlikely Which gap would you rather they filled <75 or >75?

48 days 2 hours. Not as bad as I was expecting, but more then I'm happy with. Over 30k of exp per hour though which is pretty insane give the amount of time I spend questing, boss hunt and the extremely rare occasions I power level anything. Its that long watching junk on TV or playing a game.

A few days ago I was looking to sell my SGS for ZGS, runes and some cash. During the weekend they'd been selling well on the RSOF, lots of buyers not too many sellers and decent prices. So I posted on Monday with my offer and the lowest I would except. Nothing no posts on my topic, so I though hey why not use it and try again tomorrow. I looked back yesterday and people where starting the process of dumping high cost equipment. Everything from AGS right down to Z spears. At first I was a bit skeptical so I checked the GE 0 change, which normally means a crash is about to happen and/or Jagex are trying to stop one happening. Then I though I'll test the water. I put it on for max - no sale, slightly above max - no sale, mid - no sale, slightly below mid - no sale, slightly above min - sale (well it sold for ~77m which is a lot more then I paid for it anyway). In short is inflation now actually starting to drop (highest cost items first) or is it just a pre-Christmas crash I witnessed?

I got a gorak task and though hey I have some wild pies in my bank so why not use them to heal and kill some mages while I have the boost. Only 18 goraks down and the pies paid off. O and this is about 2 weeks old now, but worth posting I only took 2k of casts and I got those 3 babies all in less then 700 casts (about 650 or 600 if you take into account charging) I would have stayed until I was out, but the hyrbid (he was solo'ing) went afk for about 20 mins and I didn't fancy risking it all.

Yesterday I found out the whole reason people say only go DK's with a team you trust. I was happily waiting for my runes to come through the GE so I decided to see if there was any teams going boss hunting in my range. I noticed there was a few teams looking for DK mages so I brought the rune axes and topped up my blood runes supplies at the GE. The team I was join was 2 130+'s as hybrids so I was happy in expecting to stay a long time and hopefully get some nice loot. We had a little trouble finding a world and in the end we ended up crashing a solo mage on a LS world. The first few kills where fine, I tried to make light conversation and check how they where going. About 5 more killing in one of them runes over to me forcing prime onto me. I get hit a 48, but just put mage prayer on take a sip of brew. He asked me if I died and that it was just lag on his part. I though ok fair enough it happens to the best of us and atleast I didn't die. So about 30 minutes in it happens again, at this stage I finally tell him to please not do it again as someone will die. Another 10 minutes down and I get a d axe, ask them how there luck is and the same player repeats the previous to acts only purposefully gets supreme on me. He then repeated spams "Help", "I need food", "Help give me your food". I nicely tell him I only brought 2 brews and used 1 1/2 due to his previous actions. He continued this for about 4 more kills, by which stage I'm killing rex as fast as possible then killing supreme to reduce the risk to me. All the time his teammate/friend is ignoring the whole situation. In the end just lured rex on him like he was luring prime and supreme on me and teled out. What did he have to gain? He didn't have magic gear, didn't have a BoB or decent healing source. He was the biggest most annoying idiot I've ever met.

I tried about 20 times then thought hey why not try using summer pies, first attempt after and bam I was across. What annoyed me was the mirrors, how does a vertical mirror divert the light down? Took me so long to figure it out. Logic would dictate ------->[|] makes the light go back to source and ------->[\] makes the light go down But no it does want to work like that. Annoying quest but WGS was more then worth it.

Hows the kill speed compared to other familiars?

Lack of slayer helm? Nice job on the 99's, but the bank is pretty weak in all fairness. Now get out there and boss hunt :thumbsup:

An 99 is F2P is pretty damn epic in my eyes. Amazing job.
