  1. I found the drop rates of crimsons to be pretty much the same in both locations. The CT is more crimsons per hour as combat familiars really speed up the kill time, not because they drop them more often. Theres big differences between the cost, required levels and methods in each location.
  2. You can buy tri/multi colour LED's which cost less then £1 and allow you to create any colour with a single LED. I'm kinda lost on how it totals to £15 on components. £4 mains to 9v converter £1 variable resistors £2 switch Which leaves £8 for you your LED's and custom variable resistor. I would definitely take out the array of LED's and custom variable resistor, replacing it with a multicolour LED and standard variable resistor.
  3. If your after fast exp cannon is the way to go. Black demons, dagannoths, bloodvelds and spectors are a few ones which really benefit from it and most of the time you'll atleast break even (bloodvelds are a loss, but extremely fast exp). Whats your herblore level? If you have access to super antifire your options are more open if not you shuold block iron and steel so you only have 1 space left.
  4. No it only effects the accuracy of the attack.
  5. Rex with CoG, pretty much the best boss which you can solo mage and not have to worry about switching attack styles.
  6. Thats decent I get about the same number of kills using lava titan and praying mage + piety with a GS.
  7. I like it apart from that fact the text jumps sizes whenever you open a thread or hit f5 (css issues?). Love the bit at the bottom of the page though.
  8. If you have 96 banked I would recommend you get to atleast 92 before you start bursting as Wolpertinger allows you to have stackable extreme pots magic (there scrolls boost magic the same amount as an extreme magic potion) and it is the most powerful magic familiar there is (will add nice chunk of exp per hour)
  9. Quests, theres a lot which give construction exp. Apart from those use stealing creation hammers with oak planks for the best exp/gp ratio.
  10. Its possible to KO the corp in 1 hit with dark bows, but as far as I'm aware its never been done with the full amount of people required. Its more of a PvP weapon like the handcannon then a boss hunting weapon.
  11. I love you <3: I've been looking for a written guide with a video of a working lure at that spot ever since I completed WGS a few months back. I'll have to stock up on food and try this.
  12. Yes but save those last blue charms as the exp per blue charm increases massively once you get past level 70.
  13. http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=slayer_guide.htm#Slayerassign You must have missed it.
  14. Like other have said you'll be wishing you'd have done rock lobsters. The exp difference is small, but the sheer number of charms is amazing. From 80 upwards the combat familiars become extremely helpful in slayer and once you hit 88 you can camp pretty much any boss. If you must burst at marim use the rock lobster maging guide and the chinning guide in combination. The chinning locations and inventory only with the higher prayer equipment from the rock lobster guide.
  15. Babies are your best choice (fast task, not crowded and easy to get to)
  16. Inflation increased the price of essence (pure too) which increased the rune prices. Added to the magic and RC'ing updates everyone wants fast magic exp and essence. In short the demand has increased like crazy, but the supply hasn't. It wasn't the vial release which caused this it was the magic update (spells and damage increase) as well as the RC'ing tweak.
  17. tbh I never duo rex as you half the exp and reward, but its very profitable given todays prices.
  18. First of all, you're referring to the Divine Spirit Shield here. Spectral Spirit Shield is completely different. - The Divine Spirit Shield reduces all damage by 30%, half of which is taken from your prayer, while the other half is ignored completely. Example: You get hit 90, the DSS reduces that to 60, you lose 15 prayer points. - The Elysian Spirit Shield has a 70% chance of reducing damage by 25%. This thread on the RSOF proves mathematically that in nearly every situation in which you would have to choose between a Divine and an Elysian, the Divine is better, despite the prayer drain (which is minimal, mind you.) 17-18-724-58871816 With graa his range attack hits in the 30's, the mini's hit in the 20's. In one round since your praying melee you can get hit 70 without being completely unrealistic. 70*0.15=10.5 prayer points, thats the possibility of losing 10/11 prayer points per full combat turn in the room. Now guthans heals on average a 20 when it does heal. Which is the same max as divine saves, only using 0 extra prayer. Say the average damage you take per tank is in the region of 60 hp and it lasts 1 minute per kill. Thats 60hp and ~15 prayer points (with a 10+ prayer bonus). 60*0.15=9 60*0.3=18 Divine saves you 15hp, but loses you 7/8 prayer points. So with guthans each tank is -60hp and -15prayer, divine -42hp and -24prayer. With guthans you can pretty much heal back to full hp each kill on the range (method outlined in this guide). So in effect divide is wasting you 1 prayer/super restore per 2 tanks. In truth kill time varies dramatically as does the damage, but guthans allows you to heal during and after the kill almost free of cost. With guthans the summoning scrolls and sara brews are for emergencies (hp below 40 to 50hp), but with plain tanking your using sara brews and summoning scrolls as you main healing source. Numerous times I've started a tank with less then full hp, but ended it (without using any healing apart from guthans) with full hp, theres no way in hell any of the spirit shields could do that. In short if your tanking bandos guthans is far better then any other method. With zammy the special attack drains your prayer added to the divines draining of prayer you burn through super restores/prayer potions like crazy.
  19. Blue or black (well they was black when I got them kinda greyie now) jeans and T shirt (mostly black random bands or stuff on them) Hoodie or hooded jacket if its cold and a beanie too. Normally wear a black leather jacket (I fell in love with them when I was about 16 and buy a new one when ever the sales are on or a find one I must have) if its raining or cold as well. I dress for comfort and warm far more then looks, I live pretty much in the middle of nowhere so it gets cold and wet all the time (minus 15 isn't uncommon in winter with 30+ mph winds).
  20. No offense but its lacking quite a bit. Theres a lot more equipment which is arguably better. Dwarven helmet Fighter hat God capes Enchanted rings Regen Bracelet Tzhaar-ket-em (obby mace)- <<near tried it but with rune defender and zerker necklace would be very powerful. You also need 1 super restore or summoning potion dose per extra pouch (depends on summoning level whether or not you need it for just 2) If your camping there high alch runes add a lot of cash per trip. Karils or other barrows second best to karils is black dhide. The melee barrows sets are horrible here and ahrims has no range defense. With your required levels you'll be lucky to last over 30 mins. Whipping them is very hit and miss and I've only ever heard of half way decent rates if your on a slayer task using black mask/slayer helm.
  21. Sell the ore and use another method. Thats a lot of ore so will take ages to smith so its not going to be quick at all. Having said that you can semi afk it so its pretty nice exp for minimal work.
  22. 22C is insane, but I guess a lot of that is down to cool & quiet or stepspeed and the sheer number of fans. I'm a bit of a noise freak when it come to my own PC so I'd rather it idle at 30ish and max at 50 then sound like a plane taking off (2 120mm 1200rpm fans is enough). The only thing you can hear when mines one is the occasional HDD noise if I'm moving large files. I remember having a x1950pro with a slight defect in the stock heatsink (know issue but Sapphire Tech refused to offer a free fix) it would idle at 70 to 80 and it maxed 125 before I swapped the heatsink.
  23. Depends how big you want the game and how many options. C++ is massive as is Java so there are tons of ways you could go about making a 2d game. If you pick C++ I found SDL (Simple Directmedia Layer) nice and easy, ideal for 2d games. This is the set of tutorials I started with.
  24. Are you using version 12.4.1.11 drivers? On Acers site (you can't direct link to your laptop) theres a few bios updates as well as a lot of new drivers for W7 64 home premium in the last few months. There worth a try (make sure you upgrade the chipset drivers too).
  25. Excellent guide. I've read it a few times and always liked it. Once I hit the 85+ range level I've always said I'll get before arma I'll use it a lot. 8 hours is truly epic, I'm lucky if I can keep at any one boss for 3 hours.
