It was when p2p came out (or the day after, something like that) and for some weird reason they must've reset the date something along those lines and everyone who had p2p at the time had the date set to 28/2/02 (or 2/28/02). I *think* that's why, it's sorta like that :P

I wonder what would happen if he said he was refering to a burnt batch of cookies he had just removed from the oven and were deformed, so that's also why he logged out (to go clean up the mess). There's a 99% chance they wouldn't buy it but they've been known to do some pretty silly things over the years those Jagex guys :D

Yeah, and 'everything except serving dinner and greeting guests' is just un-noting and getting the servant to take the logs to the sawmill. Nothing has changed, it has been this way since the day it came out.

How did you do it prior to that? I didn't know there was a bug that let you avoid paying him so he can continue serving food and stuff, I thought it was only using notes/logs on him.

Still works fine for me? What are you using on him? Or are you trying to get him to serve food/get stuff from your bank?

You are paying for having your logs changed into planks. It's the butlers service you're not paying for eg. serving drinks, greeting people and taking things from your bank. The only things you can do this way is have him unnote and take your logs to the sawmill this way. He will still ask for the money when you hand him your logs when he's off to the sawmill.

Indeed you do, and it's quite a variety of them too. I've had Rick Turpentine, sandwich lady, old man, frog one, freaky forester, genie, the lost pirate, drunken dwarf, the good ol' certers, strange plant and a swarm. Out of all of them I think I've only had Rick and the Dwarf twice, so it's pretty good :)

NO..8 planks is wrong..it gives like 200 exp...for a whole invt of oak dressers you get 1.2k exp......i think the wardrobe is much better How is it wrong? It's 480xp every Oak Larder as oak planks give 60xp per, which means quicker xp than making wardrobes. So yes, go with the oak larders.

A whole 8 days?! Wow, they really are dropping the ball! Why would you exclude Royal Trouble if it was a reasonably good update? It's like saying we haven't had a skill introduces since Slayer (excluding farming, because some[or the majority of] people don't like it). Give it a rest, the update will come out when it's ready. If it came out now with bugs you'd be saying "More bugs? Jagex are really dropping the ball!"

Which modified cheating client are you using sir?, i've never seen ping in my rs1 client ;o) Haha yeah when I first saw that I thought it must've been there in the first month of RS or something, but even then I never heard of that. Then I realised p2p had to have been out so I figured he must've been using some 3rd party thing.

RSC was not a better game, but it was a better community. God I miss those years... But really in turn that made a much more enjoyable game. Ahem no. RS2 DID come out at 2001. Nothing personal, but people like you annoy me like hell. You people are too lazy to search the exact date before posting, and are convinced of your own statements. I had a conversation with some "newbs" at fire giants erlier, they called me a "newb" because they were convinced RS2 came out in 2001. They were 100+, so it's quite shameful they still don't know anything about RS-history. Inform yourself before you post such statements, it can be VERY annoying... Jeez, I couldn't agree more. People who say RSC came out 1999 and then there's this crowd of people who are like 'yeah it did, trust me i talked to paul'. So irritating.
