  1. Hookay, here's what to do in each room: First, the room of Anger. To one corner you will notice a weapon rack. The weapons are Spear, Sword, Battleaxe, and Mace. Each weapon can only damage one type of creature in the Anger room. The Sword can kill only the Unicorns. The Mace can kill only the Goblins (?) The Spear can kill only the Bears. The Axe can only kill the Rats (?) The objective is to just kill stuff until your rage meter is full. When it fills up, you will be able to pass into the next room. Note that although you can hit incredibly high numbers (200 max AFAIK) the hits give no exp. Next is the room of Fear. In this room you will notice several dark holes. Look into these holes, and a Fear Reaper will randomly appear. Kill the Reaper. You will need to kill the Reaper 5 times before you can continue onto the next hole (the exit will be brightly coloured). Moving on, the room of Confusion. This room contains several doors in the middle, and around it are Confusion Beasts. The way to advance is this: Attack one Confusion Beast. If you hit keep hitting 0s, attack it until you get the message "That monster wasn't even real!". Repeat with the other Beasts, and you will eventually come to a Beast that will take damage. Kill this one and the others will disappear, along with one of the doors. A new set of Beasts will spawn, keep dealing with them in the same way, until only one door is left. A short scene will play, and you will be able to walk through the door, into... The room of Hopelessness. This room is divided by a large chasm. One side has the exit, the side you start on has Hopeless Creatures in it. Simply keep attacking them. When you drain their health they will regenerate to full, just keep killing until they finally disappear. Once all are dead, a Hope Bridge will appear. Cross it and go onto the final chamber. The final chamber. A cutscene will play involving Tolna's father and a trio of mutated heads. When the cutscene finishes, kill the three heads (they can be melee'd!). Once all are dead, Tolna himself will appear. Chat with him, and you will be taken out of the rift, to the surface. Chat with Tolna there to finish the quest. Reward: 500 Coins, 500 Defence exp, 500 Hitpoints exp and access to Tolna's dungeon. Tip.It is welcome to use this guide as their official one. (You wish, Unrealist) ------------------------------ The only thing I'm REALLY angry about is we can't get those hawt Anger Weapons!
  2. And I with my 80 combat can't. I feel ashamed.
  3. That's basically what I was getting at with the prayer - damage is reduced, but not eliminated altogether. If the opponent prays against Range, the damage will be calculated by the opponent's magic defence and level. As long as you have arrows in your quiver, you can fire. I'm debating whether or not to allow the spell to fire from inventory.
  4. I thought up the idea for a few new spells. I'll post the ones I think of here. ----------------------------------- Arrow Storm Level 65 Magic 1 Death 2 Chaos 5 Air + Arrows in quiver slot. When cast, this spell sends out a barrage of 5 arrows from your quiver at your enemy. The maximum damage depends on your range and mage level, as well as the arrows you have equipped. This spell will hit through Magic AND Range prayer, because in effect, it is a magic and ranged attack. If you do not have any arrows in your quiver, the spell does not function, and you do not lose runes. Animation: You raise the staff over your head. Then the arrows come flying form your body towards the target. ---------------------------------- Equalizer Level 59 Magic 2 Law 5 Water 5 Air When you cast this spell, your target's hp will be made equal to your own. Thus, if you have 40 hp, your opponent will have their hp reduced (or boosted) to 40. This spell can also function as a healing spell, in that if your hp is higher than your target's, their hp will be boosted. Your target CANNOT go over his maximum hp level. Animation: You swing your staff horizontally, and your opponent is hit with that spell Iban uses against you in the underground pass quest (the ending, where you throw the doll into the well, and the root spells attack you).
  5. I don't think you should make it ask for free stuff, that encourages people to give free stuff to beggars, which is bad. Instead, how about things like "Which direction is town X from here?" To which a simple, one word answe can be given.
  6. I don't quite get it, but I support anyway. Apart from the 10-minute to re-pray thing. That doesn't sound good.
  7. A few questions about the Lancer armour: 1. Does it degrade? 2. If it does, how do you repair it? 3. Is the weapon like every other Godawful spear, in that it can only train with Controlled or Defensive? PmG n0 m0r3 dr4g0n 4rm0r5 n00b :P
  8. The problem with the line formation is it would be a little hard to team PK effectively, since It would be very hard to coordinate movement. Also, when a line of, say 10 people are firing at a single target, some of the line would move closer towards the target due to being out of range. Instead, how about, when the Arquebus is equipped, the player will be placed at the centre of a 3x3 square. Any player that comes into this square gets their Arquebus stats boosted as well. This would make it easier since instead of painstakingly moving into a line, you could just have a horde of people.

  10. I would not allow people to ask for free stuff, and if they did, they would become attackable and entangled  Oh, and the first post guy needs to be shot.
  11. Have you ever actually seen a heraldic kite ingame?
  12. I might be interested in this. If there's any other parts that I can do please PM. As an aside, anyone with a verac flail care to play the part of the Nazgul guy in ROTK?
  13. Yes, I tele, no matter if it's PKing, clueing, training, or whatever the hell. Why? Here's my logic: I play RS to have fun. I consider dying and losing my hard earned items to not be fun. Therefore, I try to avoid losing said items. If you don't want me to teleport, freaking teleblock, or lure me to +20. Both teleport and TB are skills, therefore both should be used. I hear tele noob all the time, but do I go around screaming "TB noob" like an idiot and a half? No, I don't. If you don't want me to teleport, hit harder. I'm making a kill challenging, PKers seem to want easy kills and phr33 st00fs all around. Sorry boss, no can do.
  14. Gah I don't have a chicken.. I guess I might come along and play with that yo-yo, and the marionettes... But the cabbage bombing sounds really fun. I'll try and make it, but it's apparently at some godawful morning hour...whatever. It's TET.
  15. Why do I want to come? Because I love a good fun drop party, and I'll be damned if I don't go to as many as I can. If you want to invite me, my rsn is Wrath Of Ace I also wish you luck in your life, wherever it may take you.
  16. Or the Dragon Dragon, a metal dragon made out of Dragon Metal (Ok, that was stupid. I'll shut up now.) Anyway, this is a bad idea. Rares are rare, and introducing more would be stupid.
  17. The one thing I disagree with is the whole formation thing. I think it seems to complicated, and wouldn't allow for good enough PvNPC combat. The loading thing sounds like a bit too long. I say make it like an autocast, and have a VERY long wait between the shots. You should need all those items in your inventory, however. Also, how would you get it? Quest reward? Makeable? A combination of the two? Eastern Lands pl0x? Also, I think you should need a Strength requirement to control recoil. And, how would you make ammo? Iron balls, ok, but how many per bar? And would you do the same as with cannonballs?
  18. If it's somebody I know, I'll give it back. If it's some person who dies in front of me, I'll loot it.
  19. Not everyone's a carbon copy in P2P. Most people who can afford whips use differing armors: The really Combat-Minded shell out enough for a Whip, Full Torag, Obsidian Cape + Shield and Metal or Climbing boots. (What I'm working towards, actually) The Ultra-Mega-Super rich fellows go for the Full Dragon look. The less wealthy use a Whip and Full rune. Alternatively, Whip and Dragonhides. Then there are those who have a Whip and nothing else. Due to the enourmous variety of equipment on P2P, almost nobody looks the same as another. In F2P, granted, it's not the same. If you want variety in looks, why not get P2P? ---------- Claws are, indeed, useless. They're 2 handed daggers that can't be poisoned, and I've only ever seen them used once, by some delusional fellow who thought "Pmg poison is cheap nd cowardly". (I actually killed this fellow in a subsequent CW match - with a DDS  )
  20. I came up with the idea for a new type of weapon. Untradable, but makeable. How to make it is below: Req. Quests: Regicide, Devious Minds, Icthlarins Helper, The Feud. Req. Stats: 65 Smithing (from Devious minds quest), 60 Fletching, 50 Firemaking To make it: 1. Make a barrel of Naptha like you did in the Regicide quest. 2. Go to Sophanem, and buy a sheet of linen from Siamun. 3. Buy or make a Steel Mace. Take it to Doric's house. 4. Use the Mace on the Whetstone to blunt the [bleep]es. This gives you a Blunt Mace. 5. Wrap the sheet of linen around the blunt mace (Use Linen with Blunt Mace) 6. Soak the Wrapped Mace in the barrel of Naptha, and set it alight with a tinderbox. This uses up a fifth of the barrel of Naptha. You now have a Flaming Mace. It's stats are: Stab: +0 Slash: +0 Crush: + 30 Range: +0 Magic: -10 The Weapon, when used to attack a person, has a random chance of setting the enemy on fire. When this happens, the enemy will recieve 8 damage in an orange splash, as well as the base crushing damage. The enemy will be set on fire for 10 seconds, receiving 1 less damage than the previous splash each time, so the damage dealt will be: (Initial damage) 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 1, 1, (End of damage) If the enemy has a bucket of water in their inventory, however, it will be used up, and only the initial fire damage will be dealt. The dragonbreath shield can stop all the fire damage, however, after stopping 3 sets of damage it shatters. If the enemy is under the effects of the Anti-dragonfire potion, fire damage from the weapon is stopped. A bucket of water can be used against the wielder of the weapon while in combat, this has a 50% chance to extinguish the weapon. The bucket can only be used against the wielder if the weapon is already being wielded. Thoughts? Opinions? Constructive criticism welcome, but please don't flame (excuse the pun)
  21. Ahh, perhaps you misread the idea (I think it was unsaid between Lim and I). We are not wanting to make all the high-grade weapons equal, merely all those of a particular TYPE somewhat equal in a broad view. A whip *should* be better than a dragon long, but a dragon long should be better/worse than the Scimmy in such a way that it makes people think twice about choosing one for a certain task. Perhaps if we started with the conventional weapons (ie bronze->rune) and then addressed the fancy pants stuff later? Also, I forgot to mention that I have only ever seen claws used once, and that was by a guy toting all the member junk he could to walk around in a free world (so yes, thats red/blue castle wars armour, mixed with blue mystic mixed with steel claws mixed with... etc.) Ah, I see now. My apologies. Well, in one case, if you have no need for poison, you'd be better off using an Obsidian Knife over a Dragon Dagger. ...and most who read this will think "What the f**k is an Obsidian Knife?" As to Lim's question about the "other maul", it was an Obsidian Maul. The failure was, I think, due to lack of special. The attack animation is pretty nice, though.
  22. I actually have to disagree somewhat with the idea of balancing all weapons. Why? Because of their availability. Think about it, the whip's only source is the Abyssal Demon, requiring 85 Slayer to kill. This mens only people who have 85 Slayer can put more of these whips into the economy. Thus, the whip is not as easy to obtain as, say, the Dragon Longsword. To compensate for this, the stats of the whip are VERY worth the time taken to get one. If it's just as effective to use a Dragon long, why bother getting a whip? I have to say aye on the halberds, Lim. I always thought Halberds would be better as Crush/Slash weapons. I mean, the current construction of RS halberds makes them look incapable of stabbing anyway :?
  23. Rat Catchers. Runescape =/= Metal Gear Solid. Underground pass was scary.
  24. Have 99 hp, Pray at the elidnis statue in nardah, teleport to CW, join a game, drink a sara brew and get owned in the tunnels
  25. has anyone yet tried "use tinderbox with log" underwater?
