  1. I don't see why people can't just add these messages to their signatures, if it's one line of text. That's where people add these things already.

  4. Here is the April issue of the Clan Chronicle! The Jagex Cup is covered with results and a look at the RSB vs RSC showdown, and there's a bit about the PvP BoB bug. If you think some clans demand too much of your time, then you might agree with one of our guest authors. Combat levels are easier to obtain than ever, and one of the fastest expanding clans in RS just closed. You can find the new issue here. Please post your thoughts, opinions or feedback to the articles in the Clan Chronicle in this topic. Do you have an idea for an article yourself? Write it down and PM it to Laikrob, and you have the chance to be a guest article writer, or maybe even a Clan Chronicle Author. Special thanks this month goes to the guest authors, LegendaryStu & Peterpan538, and to Loge_05, who stepped in as proof reader. Thanks again to Crew member Cowman_133, who does the coding. On behalf of The Clan Chronicle, Laikrob

  7. The exact rule for bumping in the Recruitment forum is: So if for some reason your clan leader, or the person who is in charge of recruitment, who has made the topic is unavailable for a period of time; don't panic: You can still post on the topic if you post something with content, in example news or forecoming events or other relevant stuff. We don't want to be too rigid, so if the recruitment topic poster is away for a while, just send me a PM and we can work something out. : Laikrob, Clan Staff.
  8. Just for clarification: This is not breaking any Jagex rules. They have explained themselves how to increase the drop potential, and they are aware of this going on, and are working on solutions to improve the system. (Just posting this because the topic has been reported. :) ) Laikrob, Tip.It Moderator
  9. There's a difference between knowing first names, and someone you don't know asking about personal relations, hobbies, where you are from, work/school and other more personal questions, especially when done in a taunting way in a public chat, and by someone you're not comfortable with and who don't respect your boundaries. You would have been in your full right to report him for asking about personal information, though I wouldn't have done that. However, I would (as you also did) have left the clan, as it wouldn't have been a place for me. I'm not super secretive, but I prefer choosing what I want to share with "everyone", and what I only want a few or noone to know. Maybe it has something to do with personality, but I like keeping real life and RuneScape "life" separated - not because I have anything to hide, but I think it is because I don't want to turn into some of my friends who are really into WoW and can't have normal conversations anymore.
  10. Remember to include [TWR] in the title. :) Good job, HP!
  11. Well done, Sabres  (Lol @ computer shutdown because of heat)
  12. Moved to the correct sub-forum. Laikrob, Tip.It Moderator.
  13. Nice pull, and grats on the win! Nice to see that HP won the matched fun war, would be fun to see a 35 vs 35 in example. :D
  14. Well done, Paranoia. When will we see Paranoia vs. Paranoid btw? :P (Inside IRC joke, sorry. That's what you get for not being in #clans when we pick on Stu )
  15. Was going to say "no pics no proof", but don't want FBI knocking on my door. I'm guessing it was an RS wedding, so grats to them. Fun stuff, and awesome pull. :D Good job!

  18. Hehe yeah, not so much accurate Jmod. Several bans have been handed out already, including to clan officials and leaders - no names mentioned. Skilling clans not excluded by the way, to those who complained about Jagex being biased and just going for warring clans... Also, they have said more are on the way.
  19. Correction: They have stated before that they don't do rollbacks on individual accounts.
  20. Can't do rollbacks on individual accounts.
  21. As it looks now, especially 2 of the top 5 clans are in risk of being hit hard if Jagex actually will perm ban those who repeatedly abused the glitch/bug/whatever. If you look at the number of members of a certain clan replying to the RSOF topics, they are pointing themselves out pretty well, competing for the #1 spot of looking guilty with the skipping-pk-trip-to-pvp-with-BoB's clan. Not to speculate or anything...
  22. They just got aware of it the other day. It was fixed within 24 hours of it being reported, afaik.
  23. Background: There was a bug allowing members using Beasts of Burdens to carry quite large amounts of value in money or items in F2P to gather drop potential while PvPing (also known as 26king), which unintentionally carried over into P2P. While the bug has existed for a while, it only got "publically" known a few days ago, and was fixed yesterday. The bug was posted on several clan forums as soon as it got known, and many members and officials chose to abuse this bug. At least one clan even called off a PK trip to do this instead. Those who chose to abuse the bug, made quite large sums of gp in items, and argued that it was a glitch, not a bug - thus they wouldn't get banned. Well, today Andrew posted that those who did abuse the bug in fact will get banned, as soon as the easter is over and the Jagex staff is fully back at work. Reference - RSOF QFC: 15-16-313-58678868 Edit - the other topic about this with QFC: 74-75-841-58678936 My questions are: What effect will this have on the larger clans? Can it change the top 5? Why do they risk getting banned? Important! While we strive to keep the Clan Discussions a little more relaxed, I strongly advise you not to admit to or encourage breaking RS rules. By doing so, you could be risking your forum account.
  24. I didn't even edit in anything juicy about you enjoying to wear a pink skirt irl when pking. Now THAT would have made it interesting, though. I'm just too nice.
