Invasion of the spartans! ==OVER== Post aftermath thoughts
caskade replied to Flame_guy3's topic in General Discussion
im going to go and get my sandals today after school . I think that a leaf bladed spear would look similar to the one in the pic. and its steelish so that would be kewl. edit - I just had a great idea...the leaders could be the ONLY ones to wield banners to signify they are in fact the leaders. just a thought -cask -
Invasion of the spartans! ==OVER== Post aftermath thoughts
caskade replied to Flame_guy3's topic in General Discussion
wow..sounds like a really great event. One thing that drew my attention though was the outfit specs on post one. DIdn't quite sound right to me.. so i did a little research and found this picture: As the image shows, clearly the armour is bronze. BUt seeing as our spartan-esque helms are steel, we'll have to improv. Note that they ARE wearing skirts..nothing is wrong with that...they wore them to improve their agility in combat. Another important thing to note is the shields. Not only are they circular, but red and have a upside down 'V' on them. To solve this i went to the RS knowledge base and checked out the workshop section of construction. To my surprise i found this: Not only are they very similar to the Spartan symbol, but they can be made with a steel kite shield [which we all can easily get to match our outfit]. The red capes are also important. Seems like red is a popular color with spartans eh? Most are wielding spears. I know that spears aren't readily available, just thought i would point that out. So to overview: -Change leggings to skirts -Not make mandatory, but make an option to make shields and banners in the heraldry of "kandarin" to match the theme. -make red cape a must -it doesn't show it in this caption, but most spartans wore vambraces. As to why i don't really know, but it would make a nice addition to the theme. -they wore sandals, but leather boots would do just fine i would assume. so this is what i came up with for the entire entourage: consists of: tyras helm steel plate steel skirt steel long leather boots normal red cape kandarin painted steel kite i almost tryed out a steel chain to see if it matched better, but didn't want to make 3 more steel bars : I think that this would be a great addition to the event. On a side note, i have a shield stand in my house, so i could open up my house for a bit so peeps can get their shields painted up. sorry guys no banner easel yet -.- hope you take this into concideration. --caskade -

speaking of the evil new dragons...i was there yesterday trying for my seemingly impossible goal of 80 range and my laptop lagged out. I figure "no big deal, i was still in the safespot." So i try to log back in and i get the message "ur account is already logged in. Please retry in 60 secs." Blah i say. I hit log in again and success. I click out of the new screen to my lovely 3 items and a faladorian backdrop. "This isn't right," I think to myself. But in fact it was. Yes, i had died to a blue dragon....Luckily i kept my fury, dark gloves and archer helm[in that order]. My heart was pounding in my chest. I had to get back to the blues as fast as i could! My mouse raced as quickly as my adreneline. I held control and dashed to fally west. I punched in my pin as fast as humanly possible, grabbed a watchtower tele and off i went. I ran to the under wall shortcut and went under. "darnit! I lost my crossbow and mith hook! Guess I'll have to go the long way!"I ran back as quickly as i could around the towering stone walls of Yanille, up the hill to the Gu' Tanoth city gates and went inside. Down the following hill i went, slipped past the spacy Enclave Guard and there I was. North i went to the spot i was hoping for a red dot. But there was in fact a white dot where i once stood. "did anyone get a drop," I inquired. "yeah, somebody died," a man name MARIO [not actual spelling] replied. "yeah that was me. i lost a blk d hide set, and obby cape, some mith knives..." "yeah i have all that" "oh man, could i have it back please" "could I keep the obby cape, " he asked kindly "I would really appreciate it if i could have it all back" "gosh i hate being nice" he said low and behold i got my obby cape and d hide set back. He kept the few drags drops i slayed beforehand so i figured that was reward enough. Then later that same day, I decided to goto the greens NW of edge for a bit [want 60 prayer really bad : ]. So I'm killin em and they're droppin like flies when all of a sudden a here a strange sound and see a purple haze fill my character. "TB" I think to myself. So i immediately run south and try to log out to undo the tb when a chipper lvl 105 in ahrims and a whip ices me. "Crap!!" So I'm iced.....I eat a lob and turn on melee pray because he started whipping me. the ice turns off. !YES! so i run furthur south and almost make it to lvl null wild when i get iced again! and again and again and AGAIN!! and i get dropped. This time i kept my whip obby cape and warrior helm. And I find myself thinking, "wow, pkers are really pathetic these days. Can't even find the nerve to fight someone who can properly defend themselves." So I run the fally west, grab me a charged glory and tele back to edge to pick up the stuff they didn't want. So I find my pile and to what? A looter of all things. All of my d bones were on the ground, of which this looter picked up over half of. I was very surprised when i didn't find rune gloves in the pile. Turns out jagex fixed that...GJ JaGeX! So, in short, yesterday was full of death and dismay.

kk..I started training for jad a few days ago and figured, 'hey, might as well blog this so i can look back at it later' So here it is, my blog of The Fight for Fire. Pretty much what i want to do is get my range and prayer up. What I currently am aiming to do is kill enough blues for 80 range, and use those bones to level my prayer. I went and calced it and according to the calc i need to ecto 365 d bones for 60 prayer. weird? I dunno if that's correct or not but meh, if i use a guilded alter than good for me. And i expect to have many more bones than that when i hit 80 range. Starting stats: 8/29 -|- Went to PC to get my d hally back from a friend, and i had 91 points there...well, i did 9 games got 100 points, and hit 72 range. I'll get a pic of it later. -=-9.01 -=- Just got a lvl 3 clue from the drags...i'll do it here in a bit and post the rewards clue reward: got some rune...not complaining. -=- Earlier I used a lamp on construction and got a lvl there..another to add to the total lvl. -=- 73 range FTW Got 69 Mining the other night and forgot to post it. WOOT Another tt. Little better this time. Larger profit yay! 9.05 -=- I got another TT, but it was a junkers so i won't bother posting. -=- Got together with a few people yesterday and used what bones i had gathered on a gilded alter. got 59 prayer. Thanks darkalien182[a tipiter] and cobras41 for letting me use their alters! Woot!!

the smallest possible pyramid has a triangular base..therefore having only 4 faces..so this is most likely what it means by pyramid..so in this sense, a forth class would be possible..but what is the question..

i just went through every page of this post just to see what's up (cuz i haven't been to the gallery in ages), and i was dissappointed at what i found...I hate to be a downer but i don't like the direction this project is going in...There's just a few many things i noticed about how this thing is shaping up and i wish i could've been part of it before it got this far..and i'm glad i got to say something before it got way in depth..but I have a few things That i could help improve on if you guys would like to hear me out and possibly adjust to some new ideas/opinions..but i'm far to tired to discuss it now..maybe tomorrow..if you'd like to hear me out..i'd be glad to share.. cask

Sorry for such a long delay, but I've been busy with family lately. I've had a few occasions to work on it and have come this far: Expect updates soon.
