Well, I'd also get X11, then you can run a lot of free, open source apps such as "Gimp" but seeing as you're already getting photoshop, forget it. Search Apple's download site for some good dashboard widgets, they can be really helpful sometimes. Some other applications and what they do: -Azureus ^Bittorrent app -ClamXav ^Free, security software for Mac OS X. Personally, I've never had any problems with security, but always have a fail safe. -Handbrake ^Best free DVD ripper alive for Mac OS X. -iWillQuit ^A utility used for when you want you computer to go to sleep and so on, a lot better then Mac OS X's defaults. -RSSMenu ^What I used to read my RSS, very simple, but I love it. -Snapz Pro X ^In case you want to recrod anything that you do on your computer, such as make a PK video. -The Unarchiver ^A MUST HAVE. It's a heck of a lot better then the default Mac OS X un-packager. I got rid of Mac OS X's default one so long ago I even forgot the name :XD: -TinkerTool ^A utility used to modify Mac OS X a little bit. Can come in handy. -TeamSpeex ^The Mac alternative to Teamspeak (a VOIP app. used to talk in a chat room basically.) -VLC ^An alternative to Quicktime for those files that it doesn't support. Personally, it's a little buggy, but very good for being free. That was a long list, but all of those are totally free, so I suggest you start filling up that hardrive of yours :P Sorry for not having the links to all of those, but I'm sure you can just google 'em and find them really easy. -mbball

This is awesome to see the Mac users come out of the closet on here :mrgreen: I never knew there was so many like me. Even with my old eMac G4 which is really slow, and pretty bad for gaming I am still very, very pleased with Mac OS X. I grew up using the old classic, my Dad absolutely hates Windows and so do I. Too bad my school doesn't have some of these hot cakes :( Look, I'm an iFanboy, but there's always a reason. So don't bash us Mac users because we love our computers and always brag about 'em. We do that because in my opinion, they're a lot better then Windows. Now I don't know if you've had past experiences with Macs which weren't good, but over the past year Apple has really steamed up the product line. You can even run Windows if you really like it that much, or need it. Also, the new iMac is actually very competitive in price when comparing it to PCs with the same specs, plus a monitor, and Windows Vista :XD: If you don't like the fact that there's only one exterior screw on the whole computer, even if you hate Apple, then that is just plain out weird. Wow, this is a big shocker to me. I haven't bothered to read it yet, but let me just say that I think it's a total coincidence that your long, and great(from the comments) story is called dreamweb. A runscape character of mine is called dream--web and I have a poem called dream web, both of which create a thought in my head. That was absolutely amazing, and very touching. After I read this it made me take a moment to think about the cost Pearl Harbor was to Japan. Great rhyming scheme, great use of words, but most of all great way to get into a person's heart. However, it could use a little work on maybe taking the smaller, average words and turning them into some creative, rhyming words. Great poem nevertheless and I hope to read more from you, mbball

Me living in Michigan I am really mad that this passed. Both of my parents voted no due to the stupidity of this proposal. I definitely think this was due to uninformed voters. My mom(a teacher) said that now there won't be separated gender teams for sports and schools due to this proposal including education. Along with many other things like college admission. Wrong, Twins had the tiebreaker. Red Sox games are better :P. No really, is Detroit actually a nice place to go to??? No, but the sports areas are very nice, but nothing really worth visiting. But Michigan's Great Lakes are one of the most beautiful sites in the world.

Well, being from Detroit I'm mad that the Tigers didn't win, but I really don't care because the fact that we went from having 119 losses two years ago to being the best team in our division that just makes me smile. If you ever get a chance to go to a Tiger's game then you'll have one of the best experiences of your life. The playoffs got me fired up for baseball season and the Tiger's gave me inspiration. Next year the Tigers are going to come back with better pitching control hopefully and win the World Series without making any mental mistakes like they did. Posted on a Mac, mbball

I Found You When you running up a muck, when you were being lead astray, and when you were out of hope, I found you. I took you in and cleaned you up, I showed you the right path, and I gave you some hope that would last, I found you some hope. But then it all went wrong, you were on the deathbed, and you only had one last breath, so I wrote this one last poem. Hoping that it would give you a reason to live, hoping that everything would go my way, hoping that you had Jesus, but my hope wasnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t enough. You lived a 100 years, you touched a million hearts, you healed my aching pain, a healer you turned out to be. Why no apple? Is that a joke or what? I myself am on a mac and love it to death. I think you havn't heard about the knew intel macs 8-) They can run both windows and Mac OS X. You can easily afford a maxed out one that would do great for anything. You really need to give macs a try, because not only is Mac OS X one of the best platforms but now you can use windows too, so there's no excuses to not getting one. That's rs for you, and it's even worse in the wildy. My bro gets me annoyed because he can't type worth anything. Also, he calls people noobs even though he's lvl 94. I thik at that level you should learn to respect ppl and say gf. It gets really annoying when people call you a prayer noob in cwars. But you have to live with it, or you could always say my response when people call me a noob. Try this, "I'm proud to be a noob" or "Noob 4 lyfe" it'll give you a good laugh at the peoples responses :D
