  1. Exactly what I said. [ quote=Striker6]I think you mean: Runescape taught me a few things May wanna edit that? Geez, take a joke you guys.
  2. Well what kind of jerks are paying a whole 25p for Polos when they could get them for 18P? :?: ! :!: Honestly.
  3. Why do you need a "Genie Lamp" so urgently?
  4. Remember the what now? Oh and for the love of GOD!! Comparing a violent RS incident to a million innocent people dying at the hands of crazed sadists.
  5. Oh yeah, that's right, isn't it ... My mistake. I probably meant to type copper, but iron just came out. :-k
  6. Nobody is perfect. Some of the barrow's brothers have the wrong HP listed. Every single barrow's brother has 100 HP, but some are listed as more. EDIT: Well I guess they're not, but they used to be.
  7. And you'd be making all of 7p a transaction ... He should buy very badly damaged used cars off e-bay for as cheap as possible, then scrap the outsides and sell the parts. I made a few hundred dollars that way when I couldn't pay for my college books.
  8. Contrary to popular belief, lime does not come from seaweed, it comes from limes. Also it has nothing to do with the glass making process. In fact, did you know that the natural color of glass is green? It's because of iron impurities in the sand. This is the same reason emeralds are green. They're just lumps of quartz with iron impurities in them. The same goes for sapphires, except those also have cobalt. It's all very interesting, really. All a diamond is is quartz, but with carbon atoms arranged in perfect squares, making it nearly impossible to scratch. (Since the atoms are so well reinforced, you see.) That's actually a common misconception, about diamonds being hard. A diamond is hard in the way that you can't scratch it, except with a few very resilient elements. You could take a diamond and crush it with a hammer, no problem. You could crush that mother into a little pile of powder and blow it in your jeweler's face, but you could try all day and never scratch it.
  9. Haha .. ha. Oh wait, you were serious?
  10. And yet, once again Zezima is on his throne at the top of the high scores, and all is right with the world. Also .. high-scores are automatically updated when you log out, so any xp. you gained in your last RS session shows. Try it. Go gain 10 xp, then re-check yourself on the high scores. There goes that theory, anyway.
  11. RuneScape taught me about the corrosive and explosive properties of limestone. It taught me about navigating with a sextant. It taught me what you get when you mix nitroglycerin with charcoal. It taught me not a few things about the English culture. It even taught me that you take lemon with Earl Grey, not milk. Oh, and it taught me to let sleeping dragons lie ...
  12. That never happened to me either. Also, about your sig. I'm looking at all your drops, and those are pretty good. The reason I personally got so hooked on Barrows was because I got a Warspear my first day. :D Used the money to train to 82 mage.
  13. Or maybe the law temple. It's huge, and it would fit my idea of a skill-restricted area, since you need to do a quest to get in.
  14. Now, you being who you are, I'm not saying you personally would do this, so don't take offense. Couldn't you just wait until they drop a bunch of stuff, then expel everyone and lock the portal? EDIT: My friend threw quite a few drop parties way back when, and his philosophy is that the only people who deserve free stuff are the people who can afford it anyway. :D He would hold his parties in skill-required areas. I remember he had one in the mining guild once. (I got Torag's Hammers), and he had another one in the basement of the Legend's Guild (I got 500 mith ore). Those are some possibilities.
  15. Nevermind. Well if you're a pure Defense ... well then, that's useless.
  16. Come to think of it, this only happened to me once, and I had mis-solver the puzzle that time, which I almost never do. That might be it.
  17. "Un-equip his arms out from under him"? Do you even read what you write? #-o Well if you think about it, his arms technically constitute a weapon. They're a bit more than a step-up from the fists our characters use.
  18. I say pl0x sometimes ... Usually only when I'm making fun of people, but still Like, 0mg pl0x n33b wut?
  19. That mainly depends on if you are a F2P pure or P2P. I had a pure that I just made for fun on F2P. After I had 40 Attack, 50 Strength, and 45 mage, I did dragon slayer, forgetting that it gave Defense experience as a reward. I had 34 Defense or something like that after the quest. I was so mad, I gave that account away. It just sort of spoiled the weeks of work I put into making that account. Feel free to become un-pure, but you may regret it later. EDIT: Interesting note, since I only had 1 Defense, i actually had to go and kill Elvarg most of the way, teleport, restock on food, then go back and finish her off.
  20. A second one wont appear after you've already killed one. A random monster spawns when you go through a door. Mostly it's skeletons or bloodworms, or it can also be your remaining brother. So if you go through another door without killing that brother, then it isn't registered as dead yet, so the game can spring another of that brother on you.
  21. The Chaos elemental would walk right up to Jad, un-equip his arms out from under him, and teleport him into a pool of lava. Howzat'? \
  22. I haven't read a single word on this thread, and I can already tell you the answer is yes. EDIT: Upon reading a few of the posts, my answer is still yes.
  23. Just checked back to see if anybody commented on this. Thanks, all warm fuzzy comments. :D I would have taken a screen-shot, but I was busy trying not to get my a$s kicked. And anyway, what, what happened to Leesters? EDIT: And the way I think of it is, 4 brothers equals 4 extra good drops into the chest. :D EDIT AGAIN: Oh, and you could probably reproduce this bug if you tried hard enough, but I would try it with somebody less dangerous, like Ahrim. Four Ahrims wouldn't make as cool a screenshot, but still ...
  24. I'm a regular barrower, so I've had trouble with the multiple brothers glitch before. Never this bad though! Listen to this. Walking through the underground tunnels, minding my own business, when suddenly I go through a door and Dharok appears. Business as usual, of course. I sidestep back through the door so I can Charge, put on my mystic, drink a prayer pot, etc. One problem ... When I sidestep through the door, another Dharok appears. This happens sometimes though, so no big deal. I decide to run through the passage containing the first Dharok, and then through to the other side. One more problem. When I sidestep again through the original door, yet another Dharok pops up. Ouch ... now two Dharoks in the same very small room, plus another one on the other side. I frantically click to go through the door to the other side. But, you guesses it, when I go through the door YET ANOTHER Dharok appears! I now have a total of four Dharoks to deal with, and only 4 doses of prayer pot. I've never backed down before when this has happened, and I didn't now. Clicking on "Protect from Melee" as fast as I can, I Charge up with magical power and cast "Flames of Zamorak", burning the fourth Dharok for a 28. After four more hits (30-12-21-9) the fourth Dharok is down for the count. Not wasting any time, I dash through the doors and straight into the first and third Dharoks. Drinking another dose of prayer pot, I start rapidly casting spells. After about 9-10 rounds of combat, the other two Dharoks are burnt to a crisp. This just leaves me with number two. I drink my final dose of prayer potion, then click towards the room where this all started. Upon my entering, Dharok starts slashing away (to no avail of course). I'm now down to 5 Airs, 10 Bloods and 20 Fires (enough for 5 castings of Flames of Zamorak). On my first click I accidentally attempt to cast Claws of Guthix on him. The second click hits home, and I BLAST Dharok for a ... 5. This kind of worries me, since I only have 4 castings left now, but I fire another one off at Dharok, this time for a much more damaging 24. Three more spells (21-19-30) and I'm out of runes, and down to only 3 prayer points. Those of you who can add quickly see that I've now dealt 99 points of damage to Dharok, and the barrows brothers only have 100 HP each. Yep, that's right. I bust Dharok on the head with my Zamorak Staff for the final point of damage. After eating a few lobsters to restore myself to health, I walk through that final door to enter the chest room. Upon opening the chest, what do I find? So the moral of this whole big story is: Think twice about chickening out when confronted with multiple brothers. By the way, here is an altered map of the tunnel to show you where the Dharoks spawned.
