Just got a 360, with Halo 2, 3, and Turok. Still playing the Wii, since the Xbox is supposed to be a Christmas present.

I'll join the league, Caxis. Doubles and singles, if anybody doesn't mind me being their partner.

I'll "register" for the doubles stuff. I kinda suck, as most of you know.

Personally, I liked the two big crews idea. Each of the 8 or so active people on this thread would be split up, and could 2v2 or 1v1 players from the other team. It could work with the "tour" thing, especially if we legalize the CP stages.

The guy I'm planning on buying it from just said that it's modded to play copied games. No advantages.

Modded. I have no idea exactly what it means, but this guy is offering a "flashed" 360 and 6 good games for less than $400, so I want to buy it if XBL won't be a problem.

Do any of you guys know if flashed 360's can still use XBL?

I can has Koga? Or someone? I don't really care, I'll be Brock if need be, because I suck Lucas? Marth? Falco? Weegee? No rhyme nor reason.

Hey, hey hey. Slow down on the insults there Ike. I agree with Soma. We should just use the 4 starter stages and maybe vote(?) on 4 more stages to reach 8, which seems to be enough for our purposes. By the way, I'm signing up for the tournament.

My point is that it's a nuisance in a game that tests people on how they fight against one another, not how well they respond to the scenarios around them. I'd play Mario Party for the latter. I'll agree, some of the stages they banned (like MK Circuit etc.) didn't deserve banning since you can still fight on them despite the dangers going on. It's surely not that much of an advantage camping on Mario Circuit... By the way, I just looked on the Smash Wiki, and Norfair isn't a banned stage. What are we arguing about? Mario Circuit is banned because it's a walk off. Instant win for DDD, Falco, and easy wins with characters with strong back throws.

Ginger, the lava from the back in Norfair can be dodged by going into the tube, airdodging, rolling, spotdodging, jumping high enough, or just shielding. It's not that big of a problem.

Kent, I don't see why Norfair should be banned. The lava really isn't that hard to avoid, and it provides a decent stage for characters with tether recoveries.

I absolutely hate playing ROB, especially with my Mother Boy. :( Falco is decent against him, but I'm not good enough there yet. And if I play ROB as Marth on FD, I'm screwed. ROB is my second least favorite character to play, after Falco.

To Alex and Caxis: Great games, all of them, especially the 1 v 1s. But can you tell me where I should improve, especially with Lucas and Falco? I'm definitely not as bad as I play against you guys, but I consistently do poorly online.

For some reason I was under the impression that Falco has an advantage over Snake, too. Despite not playing either ROB or Snake, I'd be willing to help you out, if you want to play against a decent Lucas/Marth/Luigi/Falco.
