    Muse

I searched as hard as I possibly could, and could not find a topic for Muse, who I think are one of the top British bands of today. A brief history: They have put out four albums to date; in chronological order, they are Showbiz, Absolution, Origin of Symmetry, and Black Holes & Revelations. First released was Showbiz, put out in 1999. Next came Origin of Symmetry, released in the US in 2005. Absolution, although released as their third album, was released in 2003. Finally, Black Holes & Revelations was released in 2006. Matthew Bellamy is the unique voice of Muse, also playing guitar and piano in some songs. He is backed by Christopher Wolstenholme on bass, synthesizer, and backup vocals, and Dominic Howard on drums and percussion. Here are the music videos for my personal favorite song from each album: Showbiz-Uno[hide=] [/hide] Origin of Symmetry-New Born [hide=] [/hide] Absolution-Butterflies & Hurricanes [hide=] [/hide] Black Holes & Revelations-Assassain [hide=] [/hide]
  2. My only problem is that November Rain is too low. Top 4 material, says me. Also, why is Santeria on that list at all? I've listened tons of times and never heard a distinctive solo.
  3. Washington...not sure if you're thinking it's fast or slow, so I'll rationalize it either way: Don't know how other states/countries do it, but in my area high schools are classified by size from 4A down to 3A, 2A, A, and B, meaning my school was in the least competitive bracket, so that may be why it seems slow. If it seems fast, that's probably because the entire pacific northwest is a hot-spot for running, just look at Oregon. In fact, two high schools in my (rather small) city made it to nationals and placed top 10, one of them being only a couple miles from school, and using my schools amazing trail system to train. I was more thinking it was slow, no offense. My best runner friend just ran a 17:45 at a meet on Saturday under the attack of Tropical Storm Hannah. He finished 5th. I think that Virginia is a really fast state, somehow.

Thanks for the corrections, Kent. I wasn't entirely sure on my explanation, nor was I thorough, but I was just giving a vague idea of its usefulness. I love how you guys are all on just when I have to go to bed.

Wavedashing was basically short hopping to a diagonal-down airdodge in Melee. It would make you slide, laglessly, and perform any attack you wished, or perhaps dash again. It was king of mind games, and the really good people did it instead of just walking, since the options out of it were as if you were standing still.

Anybody want to play? I can't watch any more football, the Rams are killing me.
  7. A 17:47 was 8th in your state for cross country? What state do you live in? I do run, and at the moment I'm 8th on my team. My best 5k time is 19:20, my best 2 mile on the track is 11:35, and my best mile is a 5:20. All of those will fall this year, however.

  14. Nope, not at all. I have been threatened with them, but never implemented.
  15. I was really sad when I heard that. No more unique, reliable voice to hear in the previews. : :(
  16. No no no no, a million times, no. Whenever I get those "Facebook is closing" messages I want to shoot the damned person who began it. Same goes for chain e-mails.

I honestly don't care about tier lists. I mean, I'll play characters whether they're low (Lucas) or high (DK/Marth). It all depends on playstyle for me.

That's the Smash World Forums' tier list. My problems: Lucas is too low, he should be at least above Ike, maybe Peach. Pit should be lower, probably near Olimar/Fox. Olimar should be higher, because except for his recovery, he's strong and versatile. Falcon should NOT be last, despite his heavy nerfs.
  19. That made my week. [hide=]I couldn't believe Tom Cruise and his assistant. "No really, a nutless monkey could do your job." Robert Downey Jr. was nasty, as was the nerd.[/hide]
