I have a Rush Evo i made from parts, its fully customised, using better servos. Taking apart a old RC won't really help you, because everything is really kept undercover. What are you planning to make it out of? MDF (LOL) Either get a pre assembled car and re assemble it or buy a second hand one. MAKING ONE FROM SCRATCH IS A REALLY BAD IDEA!

I think i had exactly the same problem, proper microsoft bubbles used to come up saying i had 4 viruses and stuff... Nonsense... I did a hijackthis clean, it worked, (well i thought it did) But i dident work, it never stoped the pop ups, some even naughty ones (You know what i mean!!) Did a system restore and it worked fine! GONE! P.s. did you have 2 icons like "Trouble shooter" and other stuff on your homepage that suddenly appeared?
