Making the perfect Christmas Signature So you would like to make a Christmas Signature ready for the winter season? Overview I made a new Christmas Signature the other day, although it's not my best, it's pretty good. I am going to teach you how to make a little signature like mine. I'm going to be using Photoshop CS that you can get a trial version from Adobe.com also I'm going to assume that you'll want to make it as big as you can, so make a new canvas, 450x175 pixels. 1. Create a canvas 450 wide x 175 high. 2. Open up your web browser, and go to http://img.dafont.com/download/?os=win&file=almonte_snow to download the font i used in my signature of have a look here http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=804&page=1, this site has a load of xmas fonts, just for you. 3. Once you have downloaded the font(s), you just need to add it to this folder... 'C:\WINDOWS\Fonts', it will take about 3 seconds to install, after that it should appear in your fonts list, if it does not, just do a program reboot. 4. Return back to your canvas and create a background image, i just used a simple white christmasy background, because i did not have much time, but you could improve on mine and add a funky background. 5. Add the text using the [t] tool, it's easy, move around, strech, just play around until it looks cool. 6. Save the file as a GIF and upload. This is my first guide, critisims accepted, although please be nice! Finished Article I was going to include that snowman picture that i mocked up in 2 minutes, your free to use it, as long as you don't say you drew it. Thanks for reading and Merry Christmas.
