  1. He was using an analogy... Honestly, do you still not understand that evolution is more than a theory, even with all this proof...?
  2. http://www.bible.com
  3. Show me the sources that give creditability to the book of genesis? Anyone can write a book that says anything, but without sources or solid proof its all cabbage. We did that play 2 years ago at our school.

Next scene prediction: Emily gets back from shopping and walks in all sex'd up because that girl picked out some outfits for her.
  5. Pfft, you kidding? This is the crappiest state in the Union. The only reason this guy managed it is 'cause theres s--- to do in Jersey so he messed with his ipod. Oh well, I'm proud to be an NJ'er anyway :P.
  6. In my opinion, modern music has been crap for all my life. The only 90's band I like is nirvana. Try classic rock, it was my remedy. Also, like a lot of people are saying, don't be so specific. Remember, you don't necessairly have to like bands, individual songs from all over the board may just do it for you.

I hope he's dead/kidnapped. That would make the plot better than it already is, if that's possible.
  8. [hide=minor spoiler]JD + Elliot will get together somehow. Although they're both in a really tight situation now... My best hope/guess is that JD's child's mother and the doctor engaged to Elliot will meet each other and fall in love... but thats pretty far out/not likely. I really have no idea, but the writers of Scrubs are geniuses, so It'll be good.[/hide]

Uh oh... is he? [referring to new episode]
  10. The Who live. Anywhere [well recordings of them at least]. If only I was born earlier...
  11. That time of the month again? Calm down kid, it was only a simple mistake.. How bout I pound you on your "microsoft r competer maek compeny!11" statement? But I won't, cause I'm not a jacka**. Plus, why would anyone buy an xbox now anyway? Just buy the pc versions and save up to put that money towards one of the current systems or a couple pc games. I have to agree with pc = better for shooters [and most games, in my opinion]. I find it much easier to control my character, aim, and switch weapons on a pc.
  12. I think the main point of this thread is to gain some insight on exactly why religious beliefs should deem homosexuality unnatural or immoral. Many people, myself included, are confused because, up to this point, Christian people and Catholic officials have provided no logical or convincing arguments to back their point up. My point being, I would like too see why your religious belief is your, well, belief. There must be a reason behind a spiritual text merely deeming it, and I trust their is.
  13. Many video game companies and developers said they will never, or atleast not for a long time, ever use the technology in a high tech system [it was actually the ps3 to be specific]. That's because it costs many multiples more to produce a technically advanced game that fully harnesses ps3. Developers stated that making games that harness the ps3 would cost much more than its worth.
  14. @Nadril, I disproved his Christianity vs. Homosexuality in my post on the 23rd page. I think everyone arguing with him should turn the tables. Instead of arguing that homosexuality is not detrimental [and Nadril, I completely agree with your population control statement, I was going to mention something similar], why not just confront him logically and ask: Why is homosexuality supposed to be beneficial in the first place? Homosexuality is ONLY [and I can't emphasize this enough] sexual orientation. Thats all it is! It's like being male, female, black, white, straight, gay, smart, dumb etc. Its what you were born with, and its only your basic characteristics. If you treat someone a particular way due those traits mentioned above, you are a very ignorant and prejudice person. If homosexuality is only sexual orientation [which it is], then let me ask you, setting reproduction aside: How do straight people benefit society? Homosexuals can reproduce too, you know. Their genitalia are in perfect condition. The only difference between reproduction between a straight and straight vs straight and gay is that the homosexual doesn't enjoy it as much as a straight person would. I'm sure that if the entire world became magically homosexual, people would devise some sort of childbearing system. And as for your Christian vs. Homosexual benefits, to add a new point, you cant compare the two! Homosexuality, as I mentioned before, is only a basic human characteristic of sexual orientation. Christianity is a complex belief system, and its not a natural occurrence whatsoever. Lets replace 'homosexual' with 'male' for a second. Heres how ignorant you sound "Christians benefit more than males". Now, how much sense does that make? Your comparing chairs to apples. There can be black Christians, smart Christians, gay Christians, etc. Your beginning characteristics as a human have nothing to do with your belief system, and you can't compare the two. I don't understand why you think it was logical to compare them...
  15. Your point is that people who are born Christian benefit more than those who are born homosexual. Who says you can't be born both? There are many homosexual Christians, mind you. If you are talking about being imprinted with the ideas of Christianity and being unable to change those ideas, how does this give any more benefit to society unless that person is involved in Christianity as an organization? Are you implying that only Christians have morals? I forget who said this, and in what topic [it was either Merciful or Nadril], but it was something like "If you don't kill and rape only because the bible tells you not to then you are a very sick person". Point being, that homosexuals have morals also. Yes, Christianity promotes helping the poor, etc. But without organization, its limited to only throwing change at the homeless, or donating to a general fund. If you think Christians are the only people who donate, think again. Homosexuals donate too, you know. And, if you are going to point out that all Christians as individuals benefit society, that is by far too much of a generalization. There are more non-beneficial Christians then there are beneficial ones. Most people nowadays are just born Christian and don't act on it. And are you ignoring other religions? Christianity isn't the only beneficial religion in this world. But my above comment was under your hypothetical conditions. Speaking realistically, your comparing apples and oranges; homosexuality isn't a cult following, Christianity is. As to your second comment, I never said homosexual intercourse, I said the state of being in which homosexuals are, in which a person is uncontrollably attracted to their gender.
  16. Christianity is an organization [in the way you are referring to], homosexuality is an uncontrollable mental condition [maybe my wording is incorrect, but I'm not sure what homosexually technically is]. You sir, have no point.
  17. The old one went on for 4+ pages I think :P. Thats cause the author was a diehard conspirator.
  18. [/hide] Experts actually disproved the demolition theory long ago. We had a 9/11 conspiracy topic a while ago and people actually provided substantial evidence against any conspiracy theory, I guess people are just getting used to these topics and not responding to them when they pop up.

Mick Jagger. Since half the faces just happen to look like his. He looks better without the singing animation though. Maybe I'll take it off. Combo of: http://rollingstones.com.sapo.pt/jagger ... artola.jpg http://www.facade.com/celebrity/photo/Mick_Jagger.jpg

  23. Uh, lol? Halo 3 is $60, 70, or 130 depending on the edition. Expensive, but not near $450. And in all honesty, its the reason I bought my 360. Not that Halo 3 will act as the killer app that Halo did; the 360 has plenty of kick-[wagon] games now anyway. . Hes considering buying an xbox for playing halo. Xbox 360 = 300 or 400 bux Halo = 60 bucks. 300+ 60 = 360. 400 + 60 = 460. I'm assuming hes talking about the 360 because its common knowledge halo is for 360 only? Or maybe I'm wrong?
  24. http://zone.msn.com/en/texasholdem/default On a lonely and cold night, you could always play some hold em'. Its awesomely fun to gamble all your money away.
  25. I wouldn't buy a 360 just to play halo. That's a 450 or 350 dollar game. I mean 360 is great if your looking for a new system and like shooters, it has quite a few good ones. I think your better off just picking out whichever next gen system you have your heart on and waiting a couple years for pc halo.
