  1. Gib the poor bugger some knees :o! Anyway, very nice. Much better than anything I could ever do.

First off, relax. I was stating the truth. Incase you haven't read other peoples comments either. We always get someone who tries to prove aliens or ghosts or whatnot to us, and they always fail. I'm just stating the facts and whats happened in the past. I'm being candid, and there's a reason why I put 'bothered' in quotes.
  3. yomom1919 replied to Nightsword's topic in Off-Topic
That's because they did. On these forums we get 'bothered' all the time with alien/pseudoscience/ghost topics. After a while its just not worth it...
  4. Are those the charts since the systems have been released? Or the charts for this month?
  5. Day Tripper - The Beatles. up next... The Animals - House of the Rising Sun
  6. Onyx costs around 3.4m to get, along with an hour of work. On the other hand, the dmed is a luck drop, when your probably not even hoping for it to begin with. I highly doubt the price of the onyx bracelet is 200k. People sell the rings of stone in world 2 [or used to, I haven't played in a while] for 3m. people wouldn't give up that easy on the regen bracelet.
  7. Well, they do sell your personal info out, but its your parent's problem to sort through junkmail :P.
  8. Find 1 error [disregarding grammar] in that whole article and I'll agree with you. I've used wikipedia for quite a while now, I even use it on papers [but cite the main source instead] and have yet to be corrected by any teacher on anything I write. Its credible enough.
  9. If that article was a pile of mush, then all these sources, which include Stephen Hawking, are all mush. 10. Oh sorry, I forgot to mention: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=692475.
  11. They do feed the kids a bunch of propaganda so they believe its right at that age. However, you are correct when you said they can't comprehend it, which is what I also said a few posts earlier. I guess this is a case of misunderstanding, I thought you said that out of it being immoral or something like that, and I ended up missing your point. Sorry bout that.
  12. yomom1919 replied to dark_blob's topic in Off-Topic
Not as much as if you had to wait four months between updates, merely to look at it for less than half an hour. Actually, if we were to go to your limit of 100, it'd be over five months. Can you honestly tell me you'd "stay in touch" with your method :P ?. Yeah, I know. A bit of wishful thinking on my part :(. I hope he gets an offer from a publisher so he can release some books. Maybe then we could get a few hundred pages frequently.
  13. But then your statement of "I still don't believe they'd do it to a seven year old." doesn't make sense :?.
  14. The only reason they wouldn't is because the 7 year old is not yet old enough to fully appreciate the 'gift' of being a suicide bomber, and not fully capable. Yes, gift; thats what it's considered. Some kids actually BEG to become bombers, even at that age and earlier, but wait until they are 14 or 15 so they become capable of doing some damage. Their parents, as well as most of the radical community, become immensely proud of their children when the deed is done. I think you need to realize the terrorist mentality, and change your mentality regarding these issues; its not a curse to them, its a blessing. They believe so much in their convictions that their god will reward them for killing people in his name. Child suicide bombers feel rewarded in this. Your thinking of it as, say, letting a 7 year old join the US military. Its the farthest thing from that.

I wish he would just sit down and write 100 or 50 pages at a time instead of releasing one every day. You kinda start getting out of touch with it if your only seeing a few small lines of convo each day.
  16. I can't tell if your being sarcastic or not, but here is a link regarding suicide bombers in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Child_suic ... n_conflict And a quote, from the article "estimated 20,000 children involved in active combat roles in the Sudan alone"
  17. Actually, its not uncommon for children to be suicide bombers.

Its the final season of Scrubs :( ? How could I not know that? I'm looking forward to Scrubs, Heroes, House, and Ugly Betty [Yes, Ugly Betty :P]
  19. You sort of do have a point there, but I shall try to counter it. If two creatures of the same sex love each other, they can not reproduce. If the whole human race does not reproduce, we go extinct. First of all, humans are by far not the first species to have homosexual intercourse, if thats what your referring to. Many species have it on a regular basis. For example, certain species of primates. Last time I checked, there are still monkeys left. Second of all, homosexuality isn't widespread or some 'decided, hip craze sweeping the nation' that you propose it to be. Its undecided, people are born homosexual. I don't think you realize how stupid what you are saying is, there is a 0% chance of the whole of the human race to ever becoming homosexual.
  20. Tiny spoiler warning: I have a question about the book Neverwhere. I just finished reading it and its been bothering me, because I'm not exactly sure about something. Maybe I'm missing something, but is there actually a mystical 'London Underground' [in the book, I know theres one in real life, well a non-mystical one anyway], and did all these events actually happen? Or is it all a result of a breakdown or dream of some sort? I can't tell if he's just gone crazy or not at the end either. Any theories/explanations are appreciated.
  21. That is the stupidest justification for something I've heard since Rumsfeld declared that Iraq had WMD's.
  22. I have an idea! Why don't they take some Christian pills and become non-homosexual! because, its totally choice you know. And while they're at it, they are much more likely to become depressed due to feeling out of place and a screw up and a mistaken identity, because they are trying to be something they are not! And maybe they'll end up killing themselves! Gee, wouldn't that make the ol' Pope happy?

Maybe you can help them to 11,000 losses? :P only kidding. Definitely being a hedge fund manager for a large corporation or financial analyst. Thats also where I hope I'm going.
  24. Sorry for excessively reacting and using the roll smiley I hate myself when I do that :P. Anyway, no I do not believe we have a soul. I believe that humans are merely products of evolution and were not 'intended' for something or supposed to be on some sort godsend mission. I believe that we are simply glorified animals who happen to have a high enough IQ for a conscience.
