  1. Yeah. Real shocking. It's not like Christian leaders run hate filled campaigns against homosexuality. This is how the article closes. Did I spoil it for you? It doesn't matter. Radical muslims did not knock down the twin towers or hit the pentagon without assistance from the US government. Or maybe the US government couldn't knock down the towers or hit the pentagon without assistance from the radical muslims. The government has certainly proven it's willing to fake terrorists attacks to get public opinion behind a war. This article is fundamentally flawed. The author asks us to take a rather dim view of his own intelligence in parsing the obvious fact he was working with terrorists, and his quest for religious truth is more pedestrian and unexplained than I would think possible for somebody writing an article, even for readers digest. He was never working with terrorists... Please dont bring your consparicies here, there was enough room in the other thread to discuss them.
  2. I'm not critizing them. Im just showing how radical the people behind 9/11 and other terrorist attacks are compared to moderate Muslims. Read my note.
  3. As an assignment, my teacher asked us to read the following article and write an interpretation and summary of it. The title of the article is, very appropriately titled When Faith Goes too Far I found it very interesting, and I think people confused or misunderstood on the stance of Muslims will also find this interesting. It is a readers digest article: http://www.rd.com/content/openContent.d ... ageIndex=0 Its 4 pages by the way, so I'm not really expecting any response. Note: im not saying all Muslims, even the majority, are like this. This article just cleared alot of the smoke I had about the beliefs and transition of beliefs in and into the radical muslim world. Please comment on your interpretations of the article.

Every night I have "lucid dreams". I can even take it so far that I decide when I want to wake up. This weekend I was sleeping and dreaming. I decided, while in my dream, that I had enough sleep and enough dreams, and that I was going to wake up now. Than I opened my eyes and started my day. It happens to me all the time, especially when I have bad dreams, I just wake up. When I have good dreams, I always say, in my dream "aww man... too bad this is only a dream".
  7. I want the colts to win, just so Peyton can put something on his career resume. After 9 years, I think he deserves to win something. 21-20 Bears. By a missed 2 pt conversion attempt.
  8. Efficiency is definitely valued over price any day, even in real life. Just look at the gap in prices between a 50 inch tv and a 50 inch plasma tv. Or a mercedes E class and an S class. Its over 20k+ in real-life money. I dont see why runescape should be any different. I know those examples arent really that wonderful, because the difference is big and the price is regulated due to that, not 10 or 20 times more. I know there are some items that the difference is small but the price difference is great, but I cant seem to think of them at the moment. I hope you still understand my point. A side note: Just noticed that Swamp was made Debate club mod. Good choice by the admins, and congrats. You'll do good for the forum.
  9. Oh noes mommy and daddy are fighting again :ohnoes:

  12. Getting 100k+ herbs takes a while. Besides if I was gona do that, Id just sell the unids. Ty for everyones advice so far. :)
  13. I did not ever use evolution as a weapon, nor did I make any claims against religion or in denial of religion. Most people think evolution is the opposite of religon; its not. I attempted to tell this to the religious folk, but their ears were waxed over.
  14. Its not a matter of being accpeted, its a matter of being not accpeted .
  15. I tried to make a new one on Friday. Turns out that people just skipped over my disclaimer and justification of discussion. I told the mods to lock it after 5 posts (barihawk was the only person that posted an intelligent response for discussion, thank you barihawk :)) However with the first 5 posts being "religious omg way"! i just told them to lock... Im going to be pushing for the reinstatement of the ban on all religious topics. If fourm zealots wont permit me to discuss cold hard biological facts, I dont think they should be able to talk about their religous topics. Eye for an eye. Both sides loose, but thats what you guys chose, isnt it?
  16. I feel dumb IRC wont work for me (Ive never used chatrooms before). It says I can't connect. Do i need to register or something? Edit: I just loaded it again and it worked fine.
  17. And you can also see that its a joke... You really didnt think through the response did you? Even if its not a joke; 80%+ of people agree to it. How many people in this thread didnt? 4 or 5?
  18. I have 200+M. Im just cheap :P. But ive always loved herblore, so 17-99 is no biggie for me. Especially since its a purchasable skill.
  19. WOw, just realized i clicked where the old H&A used to be. my bad #-o
  20. Im planning to go from lvl 17 herb - lvl 99 herb. I know pray pots are an option but thats a loss of 500ea. Not much, until your making 150k of them :P. Is there any way to loose around 100gp per pot or so when buying herbs, seconds, and wf vials?
  21. Whos issy :P? Edit: NVM, ive found issy. Yeah he/shes' a good poster. How old is he/she?
  22. Shure, as long as your helpful and a good contributor, we dont have a problem. And as long as your not like carlin, hes quite the thick one :P.
  23. So your saying that players that have never played runescape before will be automatically bored by f2p? No, ofcourse not. If a player isnt going to members, than theres no reason to waste time on them. However, if a player is just starting runescape, they will be given the same options that current members (and there are alot of them) were given. So if they werent going to get p2p, that decision isnt going to change. You have to realize they are dealing with a new set of consumers who have never played runescape before, not a current set.
  24. All his posts are like that, I usually just skip over them and ignore them. But not everyone else does, and he usually ends up starting flame wars. One mod deleted all his posts in the evolution thread because of it. Im starting to think he should get posting privlages revoked on the OT forums.
  25. Really I worshiped Pluto but then I found out it wasnt a planet.
