He was trying to find a usefullness for a spear. If the only supposedly usefull subject (castlewars) you are using the object (dragon spear) on is useless, wouldnt that make the spear useless? For instance, if someone made a carrying case for a slinky, wouldnt the case be as useless as the slinky itself? I know im confusing now and im putting up a bad argument, im just tired. Ill explain it better later. Im calling castelwars useless to be blunt, it's just my opinion. I don't feel like arguing how usefull castlewars is, its just my honest opinion.

spear knocks a person back one space.... cw into rocks ?? And castlewars is practically useless, theres really no supporting argument for spears. And if people say "its fun", there are alot more fun weapons that are also effective then the spear at castlewars.

I think Jagex would be afraid of some kind of lawsuit over "stealing thier idea", even if they voulenteered it. As for this topic, and summoning, and blood crafting, they are truly beaten to death. It's been discussed a million times, and you won't find any facts, gaurenteed. Whether they come out or not is all up to Jagex. Its really pointless to discuss these anymore, no offence to the poster of this topic.

Exactly, its obvious that players are going to expect things like summoning and blood crafting, and they have been. Jagex isnt hinting at them, both the players and Jagex already know they are coming out. They're just teasing players and laughing when they make posts like this.

I think jagex likes it this way. Back when all the servers were mostly only 1/4th full, runescape was more like a solo one player game. Ofcourse, it still is very solo and exactly the same.. But now that the servers are crowded and populated, this allows jagex to expand on a multiplayer concept.

Many people get aggitated by sarcasm, self righteousness and god complexes. Statistically, people play more in the summer. Even people that say they play much less in the summer probably play more This is due to the fact that it feels like you are playing less because of the ratio of free time to runescape. In the school/workyear, you get, say, 8 hours of free time per day (assuming your not in college and that you actually go to sleep at night). That free time is spent doing homework, studying, sports, extracurricular activities, hanging out with friends, etc. Lets say a person plays runescape 2 hours a day during the schoolyear (many people play 3-5). Thats 1:4th of their free time, or 25%; thats a big commitment, and it feels like one. However, in the summer, you have as much free time as you want. You go to sleep late, wake up late, hang out and be lazy, etc. During your 16+ hours of free time each day, you may play runescape for 3 hours, 1 hour longer than during the schoolyear. Thats 3:16, or 18.75% of their free time. Even though your are playing a whole hour more, you are playing 6.25% less compared to free time. Thats why it feels like you play less or equal to the schoolyear. As for the actual topic, I strongly believe rares are going to go up over the summer. The ratio of rares to players playing at the moment is keeping the price low. Once people come back during the summer, the ratio of rares to players playing during the summer will cause a price increase. Statistically, because of the ratio of rares to players, rares become more rare even though there are no less or no more rares.

I make around 1m-1.2m an hour using the rune ore method, its alot better than 1.4m in a few hrs. And its not shaky at all, I've been doing it for 2 days now. I make 800-1m ea.

This question is kinda specific, so i was wondering if you could help me out. Say a shop buys something 1k each when they have 0 in stock. if you hit sell 10 at once, will it sell 10 at 1k each or will it sell them as they go up in stock? So you may be hitting sell 10 but only getting 1k ea for the first one and 900ea after?

Ahh... the possibilites. I'm not even going to list them, its a waste of my time and yours. But just think about it for a quick second; the fury was only 1/3 - 2/3 better than a glory, but around 100 times its price. Jagex realized this, and probably used this to take furies down a notch or 90. However, if there was an amulet actually worth around 5m mathematically, then Jagex would surely try to "fix" one into the game. Therefore, a new amulet that gives new bonuses.

Am I the only person smelling a better amulet / replacement of fury coming out in the next few months? I have a little theory that jagex is trying to lower the prices of furies to pave the way for a new, better amulet, while making the fury available to poorer players. If jagex drops the price of furies like this, it reduces the economic impact of a sudden, better amulet, and generally makes players happier. ...Apparently not all players, considering my 14m loss .
