looked in the aow and the only ones i could find were the no guthans, no def, etc. know tip.it has a guide on their site but its not that detailed. i seem to remember a very detailed guide to the fite caves. i have guthans etc and im looking for just a general one. if you could link it that would be appreciated.

use wakka's rune mining method to mine rune, way more profitable then wc. but in all honesty, neither will ever earn you really that much

yeah ill be going for it soon... got bored of merching... how should i do it? i hate dscim, and im not shure how to dharok, but id really like to try to dh it... any tips on dharoking it, spots, etc . or other weapons and stuff that could get me to 99. how does dh work in pest control, and is using it on those monkeys instead better xp? and approx. how much cash will it cost p pots, repairs, etc.

But guthans doesn't cost 5mil, s/he still needs to make 3 mil if s/he wants to merchant guthans(though Veracs, dharocks, and Guthans without weapon could be an option) plate - 800k legs - 600k helm 2m merchanting full is probable the WORST way to go. i usually just do those alone. PS: once you can afford it, spears preety nice to merchant, anywhere from 400-600k per trade with them. they behave like a rare.

Learn to develop your own merchanting style. Take tips from others, but dont be spoonfed. Merchanting without guides and figuring it out on your own will not only help you merchant dharoks or guthans, but it will allow you to not be limited to those. Merchanting barrows is good for any kind of training or experience, and it leads to the ability to merchant anything, at any time. But guides always help you learn the basics. I used Jesses guide for around a day, then I established my own merchanting skills.(Great Axes are great money) His guide says that he knows people who merchant guthans and make around 500k-1m an hour. thats wonderful but thats no where near the amt you could be making with guthans... im not saying his guide is bad im just saying guides tend to make you believe there is only one good way...

Pest control is an automatic win if you hold out for 20 minutes. When is the last time you A.) Saw a game that lasted more than 5 minutes? and B.) Had a game last more than 5 minutes afterwhich win or lose people didn't leave to another world because "this world sux". The entire concept behind pest control is a lot of fun, but not when people play it the way they do where every game is over in under 2 minutes. a) never B) never But that wasnt the point of my post, or what my post said at all. So i just pointlessly answered two questions. Jagex probably thought that, while people could get ahead by using pest control, they would use that advantage to quest or tackle other aspects of the game like dagg kings, barrows, or fight pits, which are normally only accessable for higher levels. They thought players would understand that combat can be used for alot of other things besides "having a cool mouse over level" and "being able to call others noobs". They assumed players would make great advantage of this, since alot of time is left over for other things. However, that is obviously not what happened. Players would do pest control and ONLY pest control without familiarizing themselves with the whole of runescape. They simply jumped over questing, skilling, and otherwise a huge part of runescape itself, just to get a high level and then quit. THAT was not intended.

apparently alot of you dont duel :P. go to a duel arena, find a 99 str pure, duel him. (assuming prayer, food, drinks are off) youll win almost every time, even when armor is off. in the wildy people can pot and eat, and pray which (somewhat) makes up for defence. in the duel arena, however, (assuming your fighting with no prayer food or drinks, there is absolutely nothing to make up for defense. id say about 90-95% of pures ive fought at the duel arena were wins. if i lost i fought them again and 99% of the time won the 2nd time around. im putting my money on the defensive guy
