Hey, now we are attacking countries through sports? Cut it out, or atleast be constructive. I have another question posed towards Europeans/Australians, etc. Football is your most popular sport, and Baseball/ Football (am) is ours. Football hasnt really caught on in america, and baseball/football (am) hasn't really caught on in eruope. I was wondering, why don't europeans like football (am) or baseball? Im hoping that it will help answer the question as to why football (eu.) hasnt caught on in america, as well as why our sports arent very successful over there.

Basketball: There is a goal every two seconds and there is not that much of a stoppage of play. If they stopped every time, the game would take three hours. American football: Goals are normally scored in 3s or 7s, and the average score is maybe 28-17? Hockey: Average score is maybe 4-3. Not that much different from soccer. However, I don't know why Americans do not like to watch soccer. I only like watching them when the games mean something....like World Cup for instance. am. football scores are more around the lines of 10-13 to 14-21 max.

I was wondering why americans dont find football (soccer) interesting. I'm american myself and i find it very boring also (not playing it, i love playing it, but watching it). I'm under the impression that it is very popular in europe, but why isnt it popular here?

im sick and tired of merchanting the same old barrows, sharks, and ores. besides phats, whats something fun to merchant that also brings in a good amount of money. how much money the item is isnt an issue as long as its not phats, so the amt of money i have atm doesnt matter. i can merchant other rares besides phats tho so if theres a fun way to merchant masks please inform me :P. ps: dont tell me to read a guide, i know how to merchant, and i am good at it. im posting here simply because i am bored of merchanting barrows, etc.

Players are worth exactly the same as when there was no members years ago. Jagex never created Runescape with the intention of even small profit, let alone what it is today. They still value their players by working to make updates constantly, and continuing to create them even when they arent needed.

Jagex attempted to implement something of the type of "quest" you speak of with the fire cape. Something challenging, which required real-life reflexes and skill, and something that seemlingy required high stats. However, this too proved to be very easy, just like the quests. Jagex also implemented something in the recgoniton for the time consuming (skilling) area of runescape by creating the 99 capes. Seeing a person wearing a 99 cape from a challenging and time consuming skill grants some kind of recgoniton from other players. Quests of this nature would ideally have both elements of the two recgonition capes; The real-life skill itself, and the time consuming runescape skills, both required to complete a quest of this nature, and yeilding some sort of excellent reward for recgonition and usage. The main reason i think jagex doesnt impliment difficult quests is because players would expect good rewards, and obviously not many people could use the reward. In result, players would probably get very angry and irritated. However, i support your type of questing, not only challenging time-wise (getting stats for skills), but challenging fire cape wise (reflexes, etc.) This would obviously give players a reason to start to skilling. It would also encourage players to get to the higher levels of the game. But first and foremost, it would be something of great accomplishment that many players would strive for, and just as many would fail. Those would be my ideal quests.

good point.. if it cant be picked up, your only going to be pking rune legs, zerker helms, and str ammies/glories with the occasional whip.

as compared to other things for xp, fun, and rewards, it somewhat flops. its basically useless once you get your gloves or torso, and good luck getting a dchain from gamble :? ...

i dont mind it either, but if jagex is going that route i would prefer if they introduce weapon speed based on armour type. inotherwords, if your going to get both, its going to be slow.

runescape is finally getting deeper by introducing true "berserker" armor. low defence, high strength.
