Technically, an incorruptible dictatorship is the best way. Absolute power corrupts absolutely? Maybe not. Yea, leave it up to one person [like you] to decide everything that goes on in my country. I'll take option two. Notice the number of people that bothered to comment on your useless flame. That's because the wittiness of his post left us speechless. I bet it did. You were apparently too speechless to make a meaningful contribution to this conversation. Runesmithie, I know what a hegemon is, per se (the U.S. as an increasingly less dominant one), but i had no idea what he meant by a hegemonic council, and why it wouldn't have anything to gain. Notice how I said absolute Hegemony?

I like my broccoli boiled then seasoned with olive oil and sesame seeds... Just divine... As for my favorite food? I would say tomatos... I love tomatos cooked in any manner... I blend two up in the morning and eat a further 2-3 a day as small snacks whenever I'm hungry.

Has anyone else here ever had a nail embedded into his/her elbow? I shudder to think about it... I had reconstructive surgery and had my whole arm in a sling cast for 2 months...

I just watched it... And it lived up to my expectations(Which is pretty rare...). the problem was the crappy translations; All my Korean friends that watched it with me thought it was a horrible movie as none of V's charisma or poetic realism was able to get through the language barrier... (which no doubt is a pity) One point in the movie that I found to be a bit too much was the bit about how V's past remains a mystery... Come on... Found washed up on shore? and then having certain "special" aspects in his bloodstream? What is he? A alien? Please...

I'm thinking an absolute Hegemony would be the best way to go... Nothing to gain, nor to lose for the peeps on the Hegemon Council which would make them focus upon being better leaders in order to get into the history books...

Four petri dishes which are filled wi-- well let's not get into that...

China? Who knows what goes on behind the Red Curtain? There are many theories that all that "Democrazation" is all a ruse(The voting, the free econmic zones...). In the upcoming 30 years or so China will become the new world superpower while America gets reduced to a degenerate has-been. The problem is the fact that America has a substantial nuclear arsenal and it is most unlikely to go quietly (America has demonstrated over and over again how arrogant it is... However this time the problem is that China is also reknowned for its arrogancy...). Whether this will result in naught more than political conflict or open war (which will inevitably lead to nuclear winter...) remains to be decided. IMO China appears to be playing a very carefully planned political game; Trying to foster diplomatic relations with the Democratic countries while still trying to retain its ties with its current allies.

The only reason Swedens government works is because of the people... They are a small, efficient group of people that are especially tolerant. Were the political system of Sweden transplanted into the US... I would predict disaster... The United States lives off of its corrupt politicians, without them the country would dissolve into anarchy...

The people that say "yes" here are prime examples of how Hitler rose to power...

Automatic gunfire... Every Korean man is required to do military Service. One of the first excersizes is running accross a field with live M2 machingunfire whizzing 2 metres above your head. Easy? No. While there is no danger at all (You couldn't even try to kill yourself as the firing lanes are way above your reach) the sound is DEAFNING. Also, one in 5 of the live rimfire bullets have tracer paint on them so you can actually SEE the bullets whizz out. They tell you(In groups of 20) to run accross the field. Perhaps 5 of those 20 crawl accross. The rest don't budge. Livefire is that scary.

Is your friend in love? Or is it the much more common Lust? From my point of view it seems like it's Lust. A older woman who is quite desirable(Hence the two children), but can he see beyond that? I'm also thinking that this older girl really is interested in your friend. Her willingness to finally tell your friend that she has 2 children is a sign of trust. Another question to ask would be the financial and academic levels. Money is a big factor when dealing with children... Personally, if I were your friend I would break it off. Not only because of the daunting task of holding some responsibility over 2 children but because I have never so far had a moderately successful relationship with a older woman...

What's with everyone citing the less obese women? Thin women? Check out Korean/Japan... Maybe Taiwan... Things I liked: 1. The architecture. True, The cathedrals and castles of England pale in comparison to some other European countries but they are still magnificent... 2. The history/museums. In the British museums, the art and culture of almost every civilization is represented in one fashion or another.(Mostly because of the Empirical days...) 3. The pubs. They're actually pretty friendly... The atmosphere is light and gentle... Things I did not like. 1. The people... Londoners seem OK but when you move towards the country the people out there are literal hooligans... What happened to the English Gentleman? 2. The weather. Wet. Very very wet. During my 4 months stay there I scarcly ever saw sunlight... And then there's the fog/smog. 3. The food. There aren't too many original English dishes. Yes, I did find the fish & chips delightful(I found the wally to be a surprise) but other than that and the roast... There wasn't much else to eat(Excluding Italian, French and other relativley foreign foods... Although I have to say that I enjoyed and ate my first kebab with great relish... Kebabs OWN burgers...).

But the motives behind the oppression were completely different. Does the Justification not matter? Half the information I provide is wrong? Please. Must we debate who's idea what what was? What matters most is who PREFORMED and ORCHESTRATED the devious act in question. That's completely debatable. Nazi Germany was called a Totaliarian society but in many ways it reflected Fascism more... Then I am guilty of being an ESLL. Happy?

Civics... When I took that I couldn't stand it... It's all propoganda, in short, it's BS. The American government is currently one of the more corrupt governments among the OECD countries... Oh and for the record? The Nazi's were Fascists. 18th century England was run under a Ogliarchy. There's a difference, a big difference... I know that. It was poetic license, since the opression is often compared to the Holocause opression of the Jews by my wonderful countrymen. It would be rather pointless for me to rant about my classes being easy and then make a blatant error about it, wouldn't it? You make another mistake... Do you even know the real reason behind Hitler's Holocaust? Before the "Racial Cleansing" 80% of the proffessors at Berlin University were Jewish. The Jewish people are a very competitive people. In every society the flourish and are prosperous. The Aryran[i had to mispell because the censor picked it up](Native German people) saw the Jews as a big problem. When Hitler found a excuse for killing them all everyone natrually supported him. He was a genius. He used the Jews as a tool and exploited them even further into the 2nd World War. The oppression towards your "wonderful countrymen" by the British was one concerning a matter of power. The Americans were getting to self-sufficient and no-longer needed Britain. The Americans unofficially boycotted English items. This led to financial crisis in England. Soon there was talk about independance. The King of England had to do something. His country was in financial debt and was about to lose one of the most fruitful of it's empirical colonies. He had no choice but to oppress.

I used to be a devout Christian until the age of 11. I then got interested in World History. I learned about all the unjust and hypocritical acts the Church commited. There on I lost faith and became an Aethiest... However I still went to Church... Why? Because Church retreats were the best place to make-out with girls... I listened to the sermon(I ignored the religious BS and listened only to the non-religious philosophical stuff) and went to every sunday service(For the donuts). My Church went on retreat twice in the summer and once in the winter... I always found the winter retreats to be the most fruitful...

Green Tea does wonders for your body... It detoxifies your system so your acne will actually get more severe for a short amount of time as all the toxins in your body are expelled towards your skin. After that your skin starts to glow...

Are you asking whether the government of whichever country you live in considers PE important? Maybe you should supply which country you reside in currently? I'm guessing this was aimed towards America as most of the forumers here seem to be Americans... From what I know, school/educational legislations differ drastically in each State/City/County in America. Perhaps you should check with the nearest governmental office for details on what the current laws are(Information should be avalible in the form of pamphlets). EDIT* I forgot to mention that Private Schools are completely different from public schools. If you are currently enrolled in a private educational facility then I suggest you ask your Dean of Education for details. Your Dean of Admissions would also have that information at hand.

It's just a link to a MV... Jeez, what's with all these paranoid people? Last time I checked, you couldn't download anything just by clicking on a link without a pop-up warning or something...
