  1. Oh em gees Oreo grats! You're surely my favorite cookie. ;) By the way, I ate you multiple times this morning. Sorry, your chocolate cookie outside and delectable icing center were too much for me to resist.
  2. If you didn't play the others it might be confusing. I was hoping that wouldn't happen. I thought it might be like the Mario games; you don't need to know who Princess Peach is, or who Bowzer is, you kinda just know what to do. Perhaps Zelda is a little more complicated than that?
  3. Nice job to the winners. :D Thanks to Nick for hosting this!
  4. A few years ago, approximately between July and October of 1999, it was recorded that 6 billion people currently live on this Earth. In today's day, there are over 6.5 billion people. That means in about 7 years, 500 million more people inhabit the planet. The expected carrying capacity of the planet, as estimated by scientists, is 8 billion people. What is carrying capacity? It is the number of people/animals/anything that can survive on or in a certain area with adequate resources to satisfy everyone's needs. So, the carrying capacity of this Earth, should trends continue, will be reached or exceeded by 2027. For most of us, it is our own lifetime that we will see this happen. We will soon find ourselves with limited natural resources. Food will be low, natural resources will be low, the water supply will be low. All the trash, waste, and "bodily excretions" (nicest way I can put it) will soon find themselves with nowhere to go. Everything here, and more, will cause detrimental effects on all of mankind. So what are your thoughts? Do you think that more money should be spent to fund scientific research, possibly leading humans to inhabit the moon, Mars, or space stations? Do you think all hell will break loose, in a fight for survival? Genocide? I'm hoping that we will discover some way to live on a different planet or manmade structure in space. What about you?
  5. I have no doubt in my mind you'll be able to do this. I bet you won't even need my luck! But just in case...good luck, Trojann!
  6. Good luck. :) Some very nice skills you got there. ;) And some nice barrows luck. Just a tip, you might want to crop your pictures a little better. It makes the blog look better if you take out all the unnecessary black space.
  7. I was on the bus the other day, asking some upperclassmen if they wanted the Wii. A lot said yes, and that they'd be getting Twilight Princess with it. I asked what was so great about it. (I haven't played any Zelda games.) They said, "Everything." I plan on getting the Wii, so I'll probably get TP with it. I usually trust game reviews, and if this game is getting a 9.5, it'll probably appeal to me.
  8. I don't remember, 8? Lol, I don't play CW. I think it's terribly boring. I usually try to capture the standard, anyway.
  9. There are a couple entries that I wouldn't be surprised if they won. Still hoping I have a shot.
  10. I tried the TET event thing. It didn't work. I failed at the first checkpoint haha. :wall: Now I'm RCing once again! I can no life this and get 83 by Sunday night.
  11. I truly didn't think this article matches the high qualities the usual Tip.It Times contains. Too short, a little uninformative...after all, we could say treasure trails are quests, meeting people is a quest, and more. It seemed to me like The Editor didn't have time to write an article, so this "filler" was used.
  12. That makes me sad. :( You're a great friend Ddr, thank god you reconcidered. Yeah, I'm thankful I was able to overcome the problems I had. I'm sticking around for a while, don't worry. ;)
  13. I won't lie, I did think about suicide back in 6th grade (maybe, around there). For reasons I don't want to discuss, I felt like I couldn't deal with the problems I had. I resorted to medication and therapy. I can sypathize with the people who have thought of committing suicide. There are basically two sides to this discussion: one is that people who commit suicide are weak and cowardly, the other that they have no other choice and truly can't cope. In the first argument's defense, sometimes people are cowardly. Some people have to run away from their problems instead of facing them head-on (apply directly to the forehead*). Counselors and medication could prevent some suicide attempts from being successful. A weak person might not even try these options, being so pessimistic that he/she feels it is impossible to feel any better. This type of person usually doesn't think about how family members/friends will feel if he or she died. Sometimes, people truly feel they have no other choice. Going back to the first page, a user posted that he felt suicidal when his father died. This doesn't make him/her a coward. Circumstancial events can lead to suicide in even the strongest of us. Perhaps they have tried the different methods of countering depression, and it hasn't worked. In my opinion, both arguments have valid points. It depends on the situation. In some instances, people bottle up their feelings instead of receiving help, and don't think about the dangerous repercussions of suicide. In others, there's a feeling of "no way out". It's not correct to judge, "All people who commit suicide are cowardly," or the other way around. I believe it to be dependant on the situation. *If you didn't get the joke, go to youtube and search for Head-On.
  14. Thanks. :D I got it at an impromtu drop party in Edge once. I don't know why it's still there hehe. :uhh:
  15. Actually, a man by the name of Kyle MacDonald started it. Mario_sunny copied off him, too. Kyle took a red paperclip on his desk. He traded it for something better and better, eventually after 14 trades I believe, reaching a house in Canada. He was even given the key to the city he was moving in to. People heard about it and thought to themselves "i cn get a phat by trdin dis stuf in m bank dat i don like!" It became a wanna-be get-rich-quick scheme that swept the RuneScape world. So Zaq was right. It's not original. Sorry.
  16. Your sig, Futurama. :) As well as some games to go with it, probably some gift cards to some clothing stores, couple accessories for my iPod video. I'd like another digital camera if I don't get my current one fixed and my mom is thinking of buying me another Cobalt Flux, but those two are probably not going to happen. ;)
  17. As other people have said, jail time or rehab seems like the most logical idea. You might miss not seeing her for quite some time, but if she's as bad as you describe, turning her in to the cops seems like the best plan of action.
  18. Well, I thought I would get 83 runecraft over my extended weekend. I guess I just had some much real-life stuff going on that I didn't feel like playing RuneScape too much. Oh well. Maybe I'll get it during the week.
  19. I do believe this is "one of those days" where something like that shouldn't be shown. I can sympathize with you and your family; I'd be equally enraged. Does anyone want to see a commercial for terrorist documentary on 9/11? I suppose it's either: the video game company producing that has no sympathy or it doesn't get to choose when its commercial is shown. For whatever reason, and whoever is to blame, it doesn't make it right.
  20. Dusty is going for teh 90 attack? Snaps! Keeps me added, and still leet blue mask! :3>
  21. I mostly hung out with my cousin today, not much RS time. I also chillax'ed with a friend who just got a fire cape, so we celebrated in the wildy for a bit. Time for bed, good night, all. Thanks for the 1k views. :
