  2. not only steel arrows, sometimes other steel stuffs for the "used" arrows, it works on stuff that is iron/steel/mith/addy/rune not sure about dragons, as i dont have any... but, anyway, if you are asking does it increase the duration of your ammo... yes, it works on steel knifes... you can prove this by compairing the amount of ammo on floor after you shoot at a (high lv) monster, with and without the device... i have tried that on black dragons, the ammo duration of addy darts, addy javelins and emerald (e) bolts all increase with the device...

  5. dragon items are not made by "gods"... it was said breifly by a book in "the tale of two cats" it was made by those dragonkins
  6. dragon (metal) is the short form name of dragonkin (sp?) just like rune is the short form name of runite... (dragonite, anyone?) just note that, metal dragon may not be made from dragonkin, as the new journal seems to be doubting that.... it said "maybe the dragonkins is involved?" ... that could mean that, the dragonkins MAY not be involved... just a wild theory thou... and dragon ("dragonhide" dragon) is... well... a kind of animal that is pretty sure to be made by dragonkins
  7. +1 Also, why does Guthans Helm, Plate and Skirt protect over the Spear? Hell, even barrows gloves protects over Guthans Spear. :? Perhaps Jagex should have had a look at those issues rather than this pointless update. It wasn't exactly hard to go to a shop and work out what your three most valuable items were. clam down, you dont always keep skill capes and barrows gloves dont keep over spear proof: actually, guthan spear goes expensive is because people lose them... so more demand, more merchants... blah blah blah look at veracs and dharoks, people lose their helm often, so the helm worth more
  8. may i ask... why are you doing this? you will get 1 hit ko with 10 hit points in wild by people... easily since you have no defence and almost no hp you 99 str wont be put in any use, since your attack is low, which you will hit loads of 0, where you will prefer your nice 99 magic and ranged... usually people make an account with 99 range, magic, defence and hitpoints... not much pures have high range, magic and strength... you combination is weird.... i mean rare!
  9. thats not quite right, i have hit around 16 people by one cast of smoke barrage in fight pits before... they dont even stand in all 9 tiles, just around 5-6 i think

[hide] it is not elementary at all! first of all, you have 2 probability, get an item or no item... next is, if you get an non 100%, you can only get 1 item (except clue and visage, those stuff of cause) it is like an unfair coin, you can either get rare item or common item, you cannot get both at a drop now what the ring actually does? it increase the probability of "get an item" or reduce the probability of "dont get an item"... like what you say in this case, there is no difference really, as you rarely get no non-100% drop or it increase the probability of non-100% item A, B, C, D, rare item E in this case, the increase probability of getting worthless item is the probability of getting it, the increase of other probability will not affect it, as it is discrete... why? because you cannot get a double drop! And as it is discrete, the probability of A+B+C+D+E is NOT neccsary equals to 1! (pufft, thats actual reason why you get no item sometimes...) in this case, your model did not fit here... think deeply... Assume : Probability of getting a gem = 0.3 Probability of getting a visage = 0.1 Total probability of getting a non-100% drop = 0.3+0.1 = 0.4 With ring of wealth : Probability of getting a gem = a*0.3 Probability of getting a visage = a*0.1 Total probability of getting a non-100% drop = a*0.3+a*0.1 = a*0.4 with a>1 The probability of obtaining gems increases, and the probability of obtaining a visage increases also. You think in terms of "you ether get something valueable or something worthless". The point is that the probability of getting something valueable and the probability of getting something worthless need not add up to 1. Hence, the probability of getting something valueable and the probability of getting something worthless need not be inversely correlated. And indeed, they aren't, if we are to believe JagEx. Now, I will say no more on this matter, I have too much experience with people who stubbornly keep denying results of probability theory, even when these results are demonstrated in real life. [/hide] i think you are slightly confused... because the matter is NOT n terms of "you ether get something valueable or something worthless". the real problem is: you can only get 1 item... therefore those 2 probability is linked, rather then independent... BUT, visage is another thing, because you get the visage AND the drop...

  18. if you want a training spot, try hobgolbin mines in wild, it has a straight line of iron and no noobs

  22. yes, i think they updated their macro... instead, i use this to identify a lv3 as bots or pures/noobs
  23. dont say "what?" pyramid plunder is the way to go for thieving, unless you clicking skill allows you to go for the garden efficiently...
