Demichelis Posted July 10, 2007 Share Posted July 10, 2007 As everyone pretty much knows, the Dragon Full Helm has been released along with the Mithril Dragon. With the Mithril Dragon dropping the helm, do you expect there will be a similar thing like this in the future. Perhaps in the future, an Adamant Dragon (say level 350 or so, just estimating) will drop the Dragon Kiteshield and a Rune Dragon (say level 400) is released and will drop the Dragon Platebody. Now I don't know if there is a similar topic like this, but I'd figure I'd post it. Do you expect for more Dragon items to be released in the future along with new armor based Dragons? My answer: I can't say for sure it may happen, because I have heard that Jagex wasn't going to release any more Dragon items (like back then RS), but they had released the helm. Not to mention last month, there was the Dragon Arrows. Anything is possible, but if a Dragon Kiteshield and a Dragon Platebody are released, it might be a while before we see that release. He probably means instead of making the follow up of Mithril Dragon, to Adamant Dragon then to Rune. Of course this is the ninth or tenth metal dragon released in the last two years. I mean... When metal dragons first came out, there were only bronze, iron, and steel... Now they've added mithril, mithril,.... and... mithril... Oh, thats right!! This is the first metal dragon released since the release of metal dragons (or did steel or iron come out after bronze?) Adam007 Posted July 10, 2007 Share Posted July 10, 2007 I'm pretty sure they promised a long time ago that they'd never make stronger versions of a drag med, kite, chain, etc, and only have weaker items because their reasoning was that the gods wore dragon items and since they always kept 3, we never attained the higher end items. Lately jagex has begun to release items of the same type very suddenly, for example, the granite plate and helm, and now the visage and dfh. Considering how many sharks I've heard people gobbling up at the mith dragons, I doubt if jagex releases runite dragons players would be killing them in bucketloads each trip. If a runite dragon was near level 500(far from the kalquite queen) like someone estimated a while back, you would be lucky just to get in 3 kills. On top of that, with jagex building up the suspence of this shiny red platebody, they would obviously have to make it a very rare drop. I doubt jagex will go past mith. By popular demand, this signature is back- however I currently do not have a blog up at the moment and if I did I wouldn't update it. Sorry, the sig links to nowhere :( .
