You are generally very vague in your guide. You don't adequately list out the recommended equipment. A warrior ring gives a slash bonus only, therefore is useless with a crush weapon. A berserker, would be first followed by either a seers, wealth, or explorers ring. You don't even mention the trimmed skill cape, but you mention the obsidian cape. Same goes for the Saradomin Sword, it doesn't even get a mention. You fail to mention mimimum and recommended stats to kill Waterfiends. You fail to mention the requirement of barbarian firemaking to access them. You fail to mention alternative methods of killing them. (Ranging, Chaos Tunnels, Dharoking etc.) In all honesty, it's a poorly written guide. I just picked out the major flaws with your guide, there is so much more that could be done. Another thing, you could at least take your own pictures instead of just taking someone else's Waterfiend GIF and Ancient Cavern map. I'm not trying to be mean, just honest. It's a decent start, but there are so many ways you can go with this and you chose to leave it in this raw rough draft form.

I use chrome, but it doesn't flicker like you described. I do play Runescape in an Application shortcut window though, which gets rid of all the toolbars and sets it in its own window with a size which is remembered each time you open it. You could try that by going to the Runescape game and clicking the page button and choosing Create Application Shortcuts. However, if you want to play in the same window with the other tabs, I'm almost certain that another browser is your only option at the moment.

Just because the computer's hardware is not brand new, does not mean it is obsolete. In fact, I would favor an older X58 build over a newer P55 build because the P55 lanes are halved to x8 when running SLI/Crossfire. Another thing to note is that even though hardware is old, does not mean it will fail to deliver performance in what most people do on a day to day basis. I'm still running a 45nm Quad on LGA775, but it still delivers the performance I need; in fact, more than most people would need. 4.2Ghz goes a long way.

What's your budget on the desktop build, and is that with just the tower, or with a monitor too? My laptop was a godsend during my first two years of college. All those history, writing, and political science courses had lectures which were much easier to take notes in on a Laptop. But that's about it. Now every single class I take is heavily based into math and my laptop really serves no purpose during classes. Most colleges will have multiple computer labs on campus too if you really need to get something done while on campus. Laptop may be better suited for actual school things, but I find myself using my computer for gaming in my little spare time if anything. So my desktop sees much more use.

I'm not going to return. I logged in and looked at my naked self in Lumbridge. I made my way to the nearest bank, in Draynor was my guess. It was cleaned. Sure, I was a level 72, but I felt violated. None of my items were still there. If they magically restored whatever items I had when I left, I'd go back. But as it stands, I won't be playing RSC for more than a few hours.

Instead of a browser picture thread, you should do like a software customization thread whether it be browser, operating system, or media player. Only problem with this that I can see is that Off-Topic does their own monthly Desktop thread.

IM TRYING KAY

I'm on my first play-through with 20 hours and around 27% completion. Playing on nightmare difficulty was pretty tough at first, but then you adapt to the combat system and it becomes a cake walk until boss fights. I'm playing as a mage, and I normally use Alistair, Leliana, and Morrigan in my party. However, if something is really too tough, I'll drop my lockpicking rogue and grab Wynne for a third mage and just chain Lyrium potions and take my easy win. This game is really good, and if it looks remotely appealing to you, you should just buy it. Bioware still has yet to disappoint.
