A good article, but I disagree with the main point, that the main complaint with RS is the poor graphics. My main complaint, and that of many others whom I play alongside, is lag. An update that addresses lag I'm sure would be more welcome than the likes of "Falador gets an Upgrade". My 2 cents :)

1) Give it to your best RS friend 2) drop it in lumby 3) Sell to a shop that noobs dont frequent. 4) keep it. I say keep it. If in 1 yr u still havent returned, nor want to return. Do either 1 or 2, then change your pass to gobblede[grime] so you can never retrieve the account = permanant removal.

Gauntlets are not tradeable, so they guy dropped all his stuff as a fake pic.

Its most annoying in wildy! Someone atacks you, and you dont auto-retaliate even though its on! Taking 3 or 4 hits while trying to find your attacker and click on him manually to return fire has killed me twice in 2 days - grrrrr.

Lvl 3-15 = chickens - pick up feathers n sell Lvl 15-45 = minataurs in barb dungeon - great iron arrow drops Lvl 45-70 = hill giants - bank all bones Lvl 70-99 = lessers. I prefer lessers coz once at this level, you want to stay in one spot a looooong time for each level, so even tho its far away, you aren't easily tempted to stray off somewhere :) take a heap of nats to high alch good drops, and 1k+ of your preferred arrows. I usually take iron and steel - use steel if its empty, switch to iron if arrow thieves come lurking :)

Yes it would especially with the new prayers, a tank ranger/R2Her would do well.

You can do it with those stats, wear full mith, addy scimmy and d-shield. make sure you open the wall before going into the dragon room, in case it turns horribly wrong. Take a str pot, and the rest lobbies - although you shouldn't need them all. Charge up your pray for extra hitting power while your at it. If it all goes pear shaped, get 40 attack for rune scimmy, and you'll do it easy as pie :) Good luck!

While training my smithing, I decided to give away sets of iron/steel in Lumby. I did meet a few nice newbs, but mostly noobs who wanted loads of free stuff (I didn't have loads of anything, just free help if req'd). The best friends online I have made, has been through helping with quests, and direction giving. I found that it is by pure chance that these opportunities arise, and that it takes only a few minutes to sort out a newb from a noob :)

I have a pure (CB 50), with following stats/goals Range 70/80 Strength 59/75 Mage 54/59 Attack 41/40 :oops: Pray 1/1 (until at least 75+ str) HP 63/heaps Agility 1/35-40 Cash 100k/1M My question is how best to achieve these goals in P2P, and is there anything else I should be doing to be better off in ftp after the 1 month? Thanks in advance :)

I went from 20 something to 35 through quests alone, esp Grand Tree and Troll Romance. These quests also open up other areas that are sometimes required for TT's, and the glider comes in handy too :)

Get agility up (it transfers across to ftp), and do lots of quests that raise skills. get mage up to 45 quickly, walking all over p2p will kill you! Also get a heap of dueling rings, and games necklaces for easier transportation while you dont have the mage. You should be able to get 35 mage in a few hours easily.

After Tutorial isaland and smashing up chickens, I wanted to bank all my precious stuff (1k, loads of feathers and precious bronze items!), I asked a passerby where a bank was, and was directed to Draynor Villiage. Along the way I noticed a ! symbol, thought "that looks cool", go down into dungeon at Draynor at get KO'd by the skels! Lost all my good stuff (bronze) and cash! About 20 levels later, I went back to those skels and promptly died again :shock:

get about 10 more str levels, and pratice your timing on monsters :)

I mined silver and iron in SW varrock and kept all silver to make tiaras. Now 50+ crafting :)

Cheapest but slowest way is to mine ess, craft minds and airs and use fire staff - and fire strike your way to 55. Cheap but quicker is to buy runes for curse, wear loads of melee gear and cast fail curse on skels in varrock sewer.
