  1. Yep. I have two big ones. 1.People who bash Americans when they know little to nothing about us, at all. 2.People who generalize something they see in the media, and assume EVERYONE is like that, when they aren't. You obviously know nothing about Americans. Don't assume things about people you know nothing about. ... Europeans?
  2. I miss freedom and duke nukem.

Dear lord. You people need some highways and nothing to do at 3am. Ain't no cops up at that time, they all go to bed at like 2am. (Around here) Seriouslt though, I pray to god you weren't going 55 on a country road? Go at least 60. If you're learning to drive, that is the key. ALWAYS go 5 miles over, you will NEVER get pulled over. (If an officer pulls you over for going 6 and under over it's invalid). And thats because not everyone's speedometer is calibrated exactly, and a lot of people (i included) speed up, and slow down, speed up, and slow down. It's easier/more fun than just going one speed. And you need to go 5 over because you have to compensate for people having to be 3 seconds behind you. Even though on paper it should make sense that if you go 45, (or 55 whatever speed limit is) that everyone behind you should be able to go the same speed; thats just not true. Anyways yea, always go 5 over, but I NEVER go over 10 over, you WILL get pulled over. I mean tbh if I'm driving I never go faster than a police car (unless they are going under the speed limit, which has happened >.>) And watch out for those crazy old guys in honda civics. ONe dude refused to let me in with over 4 miles of my blinker on. (I was boxed in essentially because I was being tailgated, and the dude in front of me REFUSED to get closer than like an 1\8th of a mile from the caar in front. Literally ridiculous. So I literally just shoved my way over, the dude honked, but he braked and was a submissive good little boy. OH WAIT TOO LATE. I missed my damn turn. [bleep]er.
  7. fml. well ive mined a bunch, 900k til 99. I don't feel like mining anymore lol. STILL IMA PUSH THROUGH. See if I can get it by Tues. That should be possible, assuming I get the corner seat for 2 days at work. ( I was able to afk mine while answering for dr's offices all morning. Albeit it was sunday.) but like 8 people died today, one pitball got its throat crushed with a baseball bat, someone's plumber didn't show up. and 500 billion people have no a/c.
  8. Touché People wouldn't even give a [cabbage] if FOX news and other channels wern't fear-mongering it and making it out to be a big issue. Yeah I don't watch Fox news, and no conservatives I know watch it. Of course I'm pretty liberal, save economical and immigration policies. (And more, I just use those two, because those are really big topics on here.)
  9. You begin by arguing that the point isn't that the 9/11 terrorists are Muslim, yet your whole argument relies upon the fact that they were. Your other point, I'm not sure how it is connected, was that 9/11 showed a time when New Yorkers joined together to overcome the attack. What has this got to do with the discussion? Im sure many of the people who joined together to overcome the disaster were also Muslim. What you say might make sense if you believed that Islam was the undoubted perpetrator of the attacks, but this is silly, as you'd probably admit. Unless it is Islam and not the 10 men that committed the destruction of the towers then you have no reason to suggest that it is a religion to blame and not the criminals. All you do is insult the religion and reduce the blame that should rightly fall on the men. Yeah I see why thats confusing. What I meant was ehh... I'll use an example. Sect of religion destroys a monument (which is what those two buildings effectively were), now different part of religion wants to build something there. This scenario, which I tried to supplement with the Christian part, is not the fact that they are specifically Islam. It's the fact that it's deemed disrespectful to build something *near* a place that the other part of religion destroyed.
  10. Bzzzt, wrong, they don't. Why not take another example of the NRA holding their convention in Denver, Colorado right after Columbine? And I do mean right after; Columbine occurred April 20th, 1999 and this meeting happened April 29th, 1999. That happened, and there was people throwing a [cabbage]-fit. Guess what? They were wrong, too, as Heston will tell you: However, unlike the mosque, it wasn't masked in xenophobia and racism. Calling this a mosque is like calling a casino in Las Vegas a cathedral because it has a wedding chapel. What about the mosque that's already closer? Should they leave? It was there before the WTC was even built. Oh good grief, do you honestly say this [cabbage] to bug people. 1) You missed my point, point being that I understand its the first amendment that only matters, but the majority of people aren't going to care. 2) Stop bringing up racism is every post you make, I never mentioned any race at all. 2.5) I am perfectly aware of the NRA meeting, I know quite a hefty bit about columbine. 2.75) What I was saying about the Church/abortion is it's not a matter of religious freedom/freedom of speech. The problem here is not that they are muslim, nor as it even the building that was destroyed. The point I was "arguing," was that 9/11 was the first time in a while where the American people stepped up as one to help each other out. And let's just face it, the people who bombed were Islamic extremists. They were Muslim. So I simply see it as a sign of disrespect. Am I saying all the Muslims there are terrorists/extremists? Of course not, nor am I implying that they are in any way involved with 9/11. Also, (this is 3) as well) I know all about the situation, (in fact I was gonna post this topic on Monday if no one had posted it yet) and I'm perfectly aware that it is a community center, with a mosque. Should there technically be allowed to build there due to free speech etc? Yes. But would anyone complain if a church tried to build over the site of an abortion center Christians blew up; and were denied permission? YES! The "fundamentalist" Christians would complain. And surprise, I'd bet my salary (though I know you won't admit it) you wouldn't care at all. Thats life, they can build somewhere else. What if there was a Muslim on the city board? Racist? No, ofc not... Muslims can't be racist... right? Again, I do not want it built there. However, if I were to vote, I would vote for it, because the constitution stands whether or not I agree with this certain scenario. I'm merely posting my opinion, and while I rarely ever accuse anyone of trolling, I'm starting to think this whole racist spiel is trolling. Since whenever anyone disagrees with any "racial" policies you have, you label them a xenophobic racist. And that's obnoxious. @ Fakeit2makeit I'm quite aware you're a Maronite *it's in your sig ;)* and I'm also aware you're a conservative, as you make it evident in every post you make. (Nothing wrong with that, simply stating.) And no, not everyone here is a liberal, or atheist. I never said that, I said this is a liberal and atheistic forum. That means the majority is. Just like if there was a white/black/spanish/just not arab person living in an arab community, it would be known as arab, despite people in there who are not Arab. While I did say "the entire forum" I meant the vast majority, which is what most people mean when they speak of vast audiences. (The entire state of california voted for Obama. Does that mean every single person did? Nope, but the numbers that didn't are just too small to count.) The rest of the post just doesn't matter, since I don't work for the government. Nor do I assume every "colored" person is liberal, not sure why I would.
  11. I hope you're talking about physical maturation then. There is a type of maturity that doesn't really have to do with age and has everything to do with actions (or better yet - how others perceive those actions [since this type of maturity is subjective]). I can consider it immature for an old man to play pranks on children. I could consider it mature for a little kid to save up enough money for his mother's operation. Maturity Maturity is a psychological term used to indicate that a person responds to the circumstances or environment in an appropriate and adaptive manner. This response is generally learned rather than instinctive, and is not determined by one's age. Maturity also encompasses being aware of the correct time and place to behave and knowing when to act appropriately, according to the situation. I'm not even going to bother arguing over this part of your post. That's how ridiculous it is. Also, about you saying you're one of the most mature people on this forum... this is exactly my point. People like you think "maturity" is just a free handout that you can just sit on your butt all day and eventually achieve because you merely got older. Maturity is something to be earned. I sure as hell have seen a lot of immature grown people. It really pisses me off how pretentious people get with their age - and how straight-up wrong they are. "I'm the teacher - you're a student, therefore I'm right!" This is a cop-out. Yea know you missed the whole post, and misinterpreted it. So I'm not gonna bother arguing either, its a win win situation.

That sounds so gross. But I'd give it a shot - what flavours did you mix together? Need us go back to the glass topic? Sun-baked for about an hour today while there was still sun and no wind. Have a headache for some reason, probably because I over-slept today and this god forsaken dermatitis is driving me nuts! Thank god I see the doc' tomorrow about it. So... Have you still not found a job yet? Is the economy really that [bleep]ed up?
  15. So unbelievably true. Age =/= maturity. It makes a difference in it, but they aren't the same thing. (If that's the point you were getting at.) Yeah, age typically shows how a person should/will act, but there's definitely exceptions to that rule. I'm surprised that Lenticular is as young as he is. I'm not. And that is my point in a sense. Everyone who's younger on this forum try so damn hard to get respect/approval. All their arguments are the same, "thats not logical" "thats not intelligent" "Thats racist" "thats not moral" "don't act like a child" "grow up". Etc, always trying to get approval. While I particularly, and many others in a sense act the way they want. Fun fact, what most on this forum believes is logic, is actually common sense. People have some serious issues in theri capabilities to define whats logical and whats not, and refuse to believe it. Also to be fair, I knew either Kirby, Rocco or Lent would post that saying. But unfortunately that is exactly what I am proving. Age DOES equal maturity, thats why when you are growing it is also known as maturing. Are there exceptions? Of course. Theres probably someone who jumped off of a mile high mountain with no parachute and somehow lived. But the exceptions are so much more rarer than made out to be. Alas, most here think that being mature means being intelligent, logical, smart, wise, always right. When alas, all maturity requires is the admittance to the non existence of it. Again Kirby, I think you're a cool smart dude (no sarcasm) but those are just my thoughts. Age honestly does matter, there are certain situations in life that help broaden the brain to the human spectrum that honestly just don't occur until you get older. I was in the same boat, when I was in 7th-10th grade or so, I always tried to be that philosopher, that intellectual, the one who everyone said "wow hes mature." shurprise, I didn't actually mature until I realized it wasn't up to me to mature. And most people on this forum have not realized that yet.
  16. 1.1m =\ I can do that in 3 days right? let me see L 1.1 ?50k = 50 hours. mother [bleep]er. thats like 5 days lmao Providing I can mine while I'm at work. Ima go early and get the corner seat.
  17. Your* You're* Ah, you beat me to it. Wow. I bet your grammar teacher is crying her eyes out atm. *Incase you didn't realize, I was being sarcastic. I thought you knew... I thought you might be, but sarcasm gets lost in translation over the internet (Which, coincidentally, annoys the HELL out of me). You're* (Sorry. : D) It seems like you my friend did not see what he did there. :| It seems I did. Hence the '(Sorry. : D)'. Imposiblé.

  19. This. Nothing else should matter. And yet, other things do matter. What I want to know is, would people complain if someone built a church over the grounds of where an abortion clinic was blown up. y/n That being said, this is a very atheistic and liberal forum, so we already know the entire forum is going to agree with the mosque being built. I don't want it built there. What?
  20. Sounds like you need a professional.
  21. i c wat u did thar. and there was no translation necessary for those posts.
