First 99 skill?
Runespan in a nutshell... Hm... At its core, there's a few things. This is a minigame focused on siphoning the rune energy from creatures and nodes into rune essence. You can get up to 25 rune essence from floating essence, and every time you completely siphon a creature you will get an additional 50 ess. You need certain runes to use the various platforms around the place. Siphoning creatures is pretty good experience as is, but the best experience comes from nodes. Nodes give about double the experience of the corresponding creature, but the tradeoff is that a fully siphoned node will not give you any ess in return. Try to find a balance between siphoning creatures to top off your ess, and nodes for better experience. Once you can use the ladders up to the next floor use them and continue siphoning all the things :P Higher level nodes tend to spawn near higher level creatures, so camping a creature and siphoning the nodes that appear is a viable strategy, and quite relaxed. I started the minigame when it came out at 88, and got 99 a week and a half later. So getting 99 within a month or so is very possible :)

First 99 skill?
Profitability is a stretch. Runespan can get you 99 Runecrafting in a month or two realistically. Or just go the easy route and max combat skills through Slayer.

Where to start after getting P2P?
Farming herbs is a pretty good moneymaker. Getting hunter and herblore up so you can take advantage of juju farming potions, plus some dungeoneering so you can buy the scroll of life will help very much. And sign up for that loyalty program when you get mems. Dat Jack of Trades aura :)

Training dungeoneering.
To be Frank that is a rather silly reason to not train a skill that has a multitude of benefits. And Pokemon isn't exactly original. Many stories way before it of people, mages, sorcerers and the like controlling other creatures to do their bidding. Hope you get over that little block soon and see how great summoning is :)

Money Making..
Sorry im new here :P and ive just restarted playing and dont know what dungeoneering is and how to start it :P and slayer is good, but recently got a task from the fairy, and she set me 104 fungal magi, and I cant find them :( Mm I've gone over the guide and it was missing lol. I've added fungal mages to Chaelder's assignment list, and credited you. Thanks for the information :)

Training dungeoneering.
You have to open the party menu from your ring of kinship. Click the big button "Form a party" Then click the floor select button, select a floor. Then click select complexity. Since you've never done dg before you're probably only gonna have complexity one available. Select that, then you're set to start. And then you click the stairs, and that's how you start a dungeon. You can probably find this all in the dungeoneering guide we have here on tip. We are a help site after all. Here's the link to our Dungeoneering guide. It'll be of great help I'm sure http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=dungeoneering_guide.htm Actually I would like to know the reason you're restricting yourself from an incredibly helpful skill.
