Magic is trained more easily because magic spells have a base experience, along with experience for damage, whereas range and melee only get trained by actually dealing damage.

Finally done with runespan :) Looks good I think

What's unclear about it? As for best xp, I find camping the best wraith I could siphon while siphoning any nodes around it worked best. All nodes are better xp than just siphoning wraiths, with the exception of air nodes, which just come under slightly.

They contribute towards your Runespan points, which you can spend with Finix to buy wicked robes, massive pouches (which aren't worth it imo) and cosmetic esteem. This is all mentioned in our runespan guide btw :)

None of the runes in the span are tradable. Neither is the ess. It's all self contained.

Tip.It now has a Runespan guide here. You don't need anything to start runespan. If you dedicate yourself fully 99 runecrafting shouldn't take more than a month or so. I've gotten 88-99 there in a week and a half, which translates to roughly 1m~ xp a day. The basics are that nodes are better for xp than creatures, but nodes will not give you ess back, whereas a fully siphoned creature will give you 50 ess. Strike a balance between siphoning them and you shouldn't have a problem. The guide should help immensely :)

Granted, but the device goes haywire, gains sentience, and considers you the only bug for zapping. I wish I had a 50 piece chicken mcnugget box with sweet n sour sauce.

Really ought to do it through slayer imo. But it's worth doing Defender of Varrock to unlock the armoured zombies.
