  1. Runecrafting. All lamps go there. I'm 83 herblore, so I don't need xp there. :P
  2. Primadog, my normality statement was made before I made the graphs, so is outdated. I agree with you that it's probably not normal - but I don't see it as bimodal or skewed.
  3. Yeah, Z, that's called an outlier. :-P Dunno if I'll add you though, due to small sample size. An outlier of your magnitude might throw it off too much. Then again, maybe not. :) Congrats, you rock. :)
  4. I was hoping Master Moridin would post. :D
  5. I'd like to see somewhat of a team thieving venture, much like the bank suggestion - but with evasion and agility prominent. You remember the mansion you have to invade in Rat Catchers? The same idea. You have to break in, evade or neutralize the guards (no killing), and escape with your loot. Something like a tomb raider would be fun as well. Think Indiana Jones - you need to be able to fight when you're stuck, have smarts to solve puzzles, be agile enough to dodge traps, and lightfingered to snatch the enchanted ruby of doom. For firemaking, explosives or primitive projectile weapons would be nice. You could have something similar to a musket that takes firemaking levels to actually use. After all, this isn't a medieval game. Honestly, firemaking should figure more prominently into quests. I'd love to see a quest with a 80 firemaking requirement to finish it completely, where you have to use a magic pyre log to free some spirit from torment.

  7. Keep them coming, I'll update numbers soon!
  8. Of course - the whole game can be said to focus on combat. After all, it's your combat level that people see when they mouseover you.
  9. Bflat, you're reading me wrong. (combat xp)/(total xp) gives the percentage of combat xp of your total. That's what I'm keeping track of.
  10. Keep it coming - got data + charts up now. Data will be updated every 10, charts every 50.

  12. Exactly. Quit whining. You choose, you lose.
  13. I'll try and get a spreadsheet going today, but I'm a tad busy.
  14. That surprises me, considering your number of 99s.
  15. Uular, you're correct. Your two huge skills make their weight felt. Still, I've got [edit] skill levels on you, while being 2 combat higher. So 'ownt' doesn't apply. :P
  16. I failed miserably at 67 agility. I'll try again at 70, I suppose.
  17. Has anyone tested this?
  18. Mage is the big kicker, you're right Gugge. I'm 88 mage, and most of that has been alching bows that I've made using natures that I've made. I can't ever remember buying natures or bows. I think if I moved my mage to the noncombat side, I'd be around 10-12%. Mage is a strange animal. If you're over a set combat level, mage will never affect your combat level - you can't get 126 combat with 99 mage, defense, hp, and prayer. However, magic was placed into the game as a combat skill, even though it seems that a good number of the spells are non-combat. Honestly, I think we could do with splitting the current magic skill into "attack magic" and "auxiliary magic," where only attack counted towards combat level. For the purposes of this calculation though, magic is counted as a combat skill.
  19. Still, very good total. I'm impressed. Mine would be much lower if I didn't have all those combat levels.
  20. Read the Knowledge Base. It apparently says that the Ectophial is unblockable.
  21. Looks like most people are combat heavy. Doesn't surprise me!
  22. A few more small, and a few more big. :)
  23. 23 here, but a newer player. I've been in RS since April 2005.
